Hey guys, have organised a deal on the S2721DGF with Dell. This will be via the Dell website and coupons are good for 500 units. This is a measure to control amount of orders so you can get your monitors in a timely manner and avoid extensive delays. If you miss out there will be another deal toward end of oct.

Orders from this deal will be dispatched between 15-20th Oct or sooner.

      you need to apply both super7 + lima coupon. Contact dell to apply the super7 coupon to your order after the fact!

          Anybody can negotiate a coupon with any company. No different from negotiating a discount on a car, or a discount at JB hi-fi. You just need to know your prices. And ozbargainers will do the rest and buy wholesale volumes in an hour.

            @imcold: well it is much harder to negotiate with top tech companies like dell as an individual, if you're not affiliated with them.. and I thought dell would have strict pricing guidelines

          Long story short I actually run some gaming communities with a couple thousand members. I spread these deals across those and ozb. So I am not an employee but more so helping Dell move a large quantity of products at deal prices. Similar to what Groupon does, one could argue why a company would slash prices and sell a product for marginal profit, but if you're moving thousands of units a month, any profit is good profit.

      I mean 2 is normal if you're running a dual setup and want premium. I'd be disgruntled at those ordering 4 or more and reselling, but Dell is trying to make sure you all get a fair go by releasing constant deals with limited quantity. So that's good.

        Bugger, I plan on running this between two Dell S2721D. This is likely a GPU issue, the monitor doesn't actually know if two other monitors are connected, thus the firmware of the monitor are unlikely to blame.
        If it was in the monitor firmware it would more likely be an issue regardless how many monitors are connected.
        Much more likely it's an issue with G-sync implementation in the monitor, but my GPU is AMD, so expecting no issues.

    When the last eBay deal was active, I cancelled my order and went for two S2721Q. As a casual gamer, I thought that would be a better deal, especially when one can expect 3070 to handle 4K 60Hz.

    I can vouch.
    This monitor is great.
    I have little to no experience with monitors
    Out of the box the colours were great. No backlight bleed that I noticed. A little colour uniformity issue along the very edge but didn't bother me too much

        No, mine has no bleed or shadowing, give it a week or so, sometimes these monitors need to warm up and level out.

        When testing the monitor. A single colour across the whole screen it was slightly darker on the left and right edges. In saying that the test said to have the monitor on for st least 30 minutes and I had it on for 5 minutes before testing

      The late Oct deal is still happening. This was a move from Dell to provide some earlier as they got shipments out and can handle the traffic. It sucks to miss out, but you can still grab one on next deal. More deals are better than less.
