Just found out through a friend that these are going cheap, assume a pricing error.
Ordered the maximum of 4, $5 for delivery (for a 3 hr window), or $9 (for a 2 hr window).
Worked out to be $63.96 + delivery

I have a receipt from my order so I guess I should be ok?

Edit: May be postcode related, mine is 2603. Delivery is tomorrow arvo so will keep it updated.

Edit 2: Coopers Sparkling Ale is even cheaper @ $14.99, and at least for my local shop it now shows that James Squire is out of stock.

    Very surprised if they honour this. I recall reading somewhere, that in liquor act, it that says they are not allowed to sell below cost.

    So even if they did decide to be nice, they may not be able to.

      You're correct here. It's part of the RSA. However, there are certain circumstances in which they are allowed (such as being close to expiry).

      Hopefully there's a reason here :)

        As someone who used to work for BWS, I can tell you that we did sell stuff below cost. When multiple slabs were on special (2x VB slabs for $70, or whatever), quite often that was at or slightly below the stores purchase price (although probably not below the original Woolworth's bulk purchase price).
        In addition, end of line stock was often sold below cost (depending on how quickly we were trying to get rid of it). This wasn't just beer that was near the best before date, it was also bottles of spirits and wines.

          Clearance lines is a special circumstance. I also worked in Woolies Liquor for over 3 years and I distinctly remember the house rules having something about not selling mass alcohol below cost price as it encourages irresponsible consumption. Bunch of pansy rules if you ask me.

      i like your thinking, but i still suspect it could be an error. That could be default thing that goes up with really good prices but it doesn't legitimize it.

      That said, i've ordered my 8 cases and hope they do honour it.

      I kept getting errors (google chrome) when I tried clicking Beer. Instead, try searching Coopers, it's near the bottom and had no problems finding it.

    it probably is a clearance they arent uncommon. see it all the time at dan murphys last year i picked up a slab of jim beam and coke which was 2 months out of expiry, and they sold it for $15.

    hope its not too close to expiry though..

    Looks like they fixed it….. In WA i had 4 in the cart, then went to sign up and pay and there was an error… Then Coopers pale ale went up to $45 per carton!!! Come on woolies, your turn to match/beat Coles! We know you want to, since you did with your roast chicken.

    After further investigating, I was advised that there was a price error, that all orders for these items are being recalled and everyone will be advised. They are in discussion with the ACCC and will be making a formal press release shortly. She also advised that for the inconvenience there will be a credit put onto the accounts of $15. Will be interesting to see how this plays out, but it was a bit too good to be true :(

      Same, just received a call from Coles telling me it was a pricing error. My order will be cancelled, and a $15 dollar credit put on my account for the inconvenience. I put through more than one order so I'm wondering if I will get more than the one $15 credit.

        Just called Coles myself, they confirmed all orders cancelled. They will call
        everyone and offer $15 credit onto your online account.

        If you dont get a call/miss the call from Coles, call 1800 455 400 and get them to add the
        credit manually

        Was really looking forward to that beer :(
