https://www.techswich.com.au/product/devastor-rtx3080-gaming…

These are available and will be shipping early next week (approx from Monday 26th)

Anyone on our wait list for a 3080 indicating they were after a complete build have been already been notified in advance.

Please be aware these are pre-built from one of our suppliers and in no way affects allocation of GPUs to everyone else on our wait list (there was no option to get the GPUs separately). First in first served (whoever completes checkout first).

Unfortunately there is no options to customise the builds at this stage, as this is how we are receiving them from our supplier.

Due to high demand and limited availability we will require immediate payment to secure your allocation (Either using Osko/Bank transfer, or PayPal).

"Unfortunately there is no options to customise the builds at this stage, as this is how we are receiving them from our supplier."

"Due to high demand it’s possible that the RTX 3080 GPU and some other parts (such as the memory) may be swapped out for alternative parts with equivalent specifications."

    Sounds good.

Seller like this ruin the chance of customers getting the 3080 at a normal retail price. Holding stocks and rip people off badly

We have not set aside a single RTX 3000 series for a system build ourselves. All individual GPUs we receive are sold as GPUs. These systems are shipped to us as complete systems, and we didn't have an option to receive the GPUs by themselves, as clearly stated before. You can choose to believe us or not, that's up to you 🤷‍♂️.

We're doing the best we can to get cards in the hands of our customers anyway we can.

The vast majority of other stores will pick GPUs from their own stock they receive for their pre-built systems.

This is actually poor value for money when they can bait and switch the GPU.
You don't offer an item for sale then have a condition of

Due to high demand it’s possible that the RTX 3080 GPU and some other parts (such as the memory) may be swapped out for alternative parts with equivalent specifications.

Edit I will add in the 1st line of description it states

We have the following Pre-Built RTX 3080 gaming PCs available

So why the need to swapped out?, they're pre built meaning the GPUs have already been allocated.

      I have to agree.
You either have the parts for the build or you dont.

You cant just substitute parts of "equal performance" whatever that means.

      • Story just seems to get worse and worse, taken from their own website from same ad.
While I am not on a witch hunt I think these guys need to re-think how they word their ads.

Please be aware these are pre-built from one of our supplier and in no way affects allocation of GPUs to everyone else on our wait list (there was no option to get the GPUs separately).

'wasn't even necessary to mention' - a change in the GPU is of some importance to a customer. Do you even know how to run a business?

        • I wonder what else isn't even necessary to mention lol, shady as.

        • -1

Not sure what's so hard to understand? First shipment allocated to us from the supplier are exact parts specified.

If the supplier changes the parts slightly in the future after the first shipment (as they indicated might be a possibility) then the listing will be update to reflect those changes as appropriate, e.g. GPU or RAM. But at any given point in time, any orders placed will be provided exactly as per description at that point in time. Simply mentioned it so people didn't get confused if they didn't buy it right away but came back to the listing in the future and the description had changed.

    Insanely bad value

  • Lol

  • Is this a bargain?

    • Depends which GPU you get.

      • It's the Gigabyte Eagle as stated in the description.

  • Truckload of hate in this thread so while in a conference call i thought i might post a quick analysis.

Using camelx3 here is what I came up with.

    Intel i7 10700F 10th Gen CPU - $479.00
    Adata 1TB XPG SX8200 Pro PCIe M.2 SSD - $212.37
    Asus PRIME B460-PLUS B460 ATX Motherboard $213.50
    Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB)(CMK16GX4M2B3200C16) - $100.32
Cougar MX331 Mesh-G TG Midi Tower Gaming Case $105.00
Cougar GX-S750 750W 80+ Gold Power Supply Dunno
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 EAGLE OC 10G Video Card Dunno

                                $1,110.19
                                $2,876.00
                            DIF $1,765.81

So GFX card and Power Supply, and build, warranty blah costing you $1765.81. Doesn't seem toooooo horrible, our mates over at techfast are about the same price aren't they ?

*Note I'm bracing myself for the negs but I just wanted to at least add some context to this rather than blasting the vendor calling it "crap" or whatever.
