$10 Cashback after Spending $10 at Bundll (New Accounts)

302

Basically a clone of this deal I posted earlier (some interesting comments there), but with changed Ts&Cs and a new offer period - no cap on eligibility numbers. $10 is $10

For those unfamiliar, a digital Google/Apple Pay Card that lets you pay on it, and they'll give you 2 weeks credit interest free (automatically bundled with your other purchases on the card and paid off in 2 weeks with a Visa/Mastercard attached).

No credit check unless you want to "superbundll"

I prefer Bundll to Zip/Afterpay mainly due to the fact it doesn't sting the merchants, but obviously less interest free time…

Can use anywhere a Mastercard is accepted, and can pay off with another Credit Card - almost like a free extra 2 weeks of credit.

Ts & C's:

  1. Offer valid for new bundll customers only who applied and got approved for bundll between 22 October 2020 – 31 December 2020
  2. (“Customers") are eligible to receive a cashback of $10 on their first purchase using bundll (“Offer”).
  3. Customers must spend $10 or more in their first single bundll transaction (“Eligible Transaction”) to receive a cashback of $10.
  4. This Offer commences on 22 October 2020 and ends at 11:59 AEDST on 31 December 2020 (“Promotional Period”).
  5. This Offer is subject to the Customer’s bundll account remaining open until the cashback amount is applied to the Customer’s bundll account.
  6. The cashback amount will be applied to the Customer’s bundll account within 7 days of the Eligible Transaction.
  7. This Offer is redeemable for one Eligible Transaction only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
  8. This Offer excludes Eligible Transactions that have been reversed or refunded.
  9. The Promoter is ©2020 humm Cards Pty Ltd ABN 31 099 651 877.

  • Does anyone know if this would work for Netflix on a Turkish VPN?

    • Don't see why it wouldn't… but only one way to find out.

Bonus is that there isn't a FX fee either

  • +1

It is actually up to 3 weeks interest free. The credit limit granted is a bit mean, maybe only $180.

    • Yeah I had to use my non primary account but luckily got $250 - FWIW Bundll is never my first preference of card, but is handy in situations where I can't use an AMEX. Plus I'm always happy to support a new player on the scene, particularly if material benefit.

      • How come people get different credit limits (when no credit checks are done)?

        • +1

No idea, I presume it's based off their assessment of your ability to service based on your bank account.

          • @blighst: If so, I am quite surprised banks have the infrastructure to pass on bank balance/transactions details to 3rd parties

            • +1

@ilovefullprice: They don't - thats the goal of open banking.

They do it with Yodlee for the moment.

              • @blighst: Ok thanks.

Do you mean Bundll, banks or any institutions can use Yodlee to assess customers data?

                • +1

@ilovefullprice: Yes if the institution claims to access another banks data, that's most likely how they do so

                  • @blighst: That’s scary how much data an institution can obtain about someone these days

  • rejected with a good credit score, cannot verify with ANZ Bank, has to use commbank account with little transctions

    • Pretty sure no credit enquiry on any reports.

    • They don't credit check, they just have a glance at the account to make sure that you're not broke presumably. Surprised there's no ANZ option though

  • Can use anywhere a Mastercard is accepted

So it's as if you have a new Mastercard? Does the card number change?

    • +1

      Hasn't changed for me…

    • Just signed up and added to Apple Wallet. Its only showing me the last 4 digits. How can I see the full 16 digits of this new card?

      • +1

It shows in the Bundll App.

        • +1

Can you use it for online payments, Paypal … etc?

          • +2

@nfr: I just did with Catch, just swipe to reveal the CVC and enter the card number, your name, expiry date and CVC like a normal card when buying online.

  • -1

$10 for a credit enquiry, no thanks.

    • +1

No credit check unless you want to "superbundll"

  • I got denied :/
Was hoping no credit check would mean I'd be approved (recently finished studies) but nope

  • Signed up, somehow I was approved for $1000

  • Why did app say it would need my bank login details?

    • I gave an less active bank login and only got approved $180 in August in a same promo. If you aim at high limit, up to $1,000, you may need to provide your main active account. No guarrantee, only share my exp.

      • +1

I gave access to my active account but was only approved at $180. Not blowing my own horn, but I am on 6-figure income so I think the algorithm of determining your credit limit was more than just the activities on your account.

    • +1

Was going to go for this but how do you know that Bundll aren’t saving your banking history &/or selling it?

Or even logging in whenever they want in the future?

Has anyone read the fine print?

      • +1

Exactly. Pretty suss and chances of being scammed are extremely high. Who is bundll anyway? Looks to be some Pty Ltd…
I would err on the side of caution here..
Not worth $10..to loose more one day..

  • How long does the credit take to be applied? I made a purchase at liquorland and it shows as a restricted category. Is it still an eligible purchase for the bonus?

    • My credit on clothing was applied in a few days

      • Mine posted a day or two later

  • anyone else get the easi app offer $10 x 6 times email? not sure when it expires?

  • Thanks, mine applied a few days later. Anyone know if this service shows up on credit reports?

  • +1

Got declined with no reason, when I was putting in my address manually it ended up with error "sorry, something went wrong". When I looked up my address, it didn't show the Unit number in the final screen before you hit submit. Maybe that's why it failed.

    Update:
Just spoke with their chat-bot support and got following explanation:

"Bundll do not conduct credit checks and therefore your current credit score will not have any bearing on the decision of your application. the decision is solely based on the automatic provisioning system. once an application is declined, it cannot be reassessed or reconsidered. you can only re-apply after 3-6 months."

    • So, sounds like they made a decision based on the info I provided - my age, address, anything linked to my driver licence (e.g. demerit points?)..or maybe it is a referral code I used that referred too many people ? 1UYS2b

  • +2

I can't even get past step 5 of the sign up process where I'm just entering my name/DOB/licence/home address, "The data you provided was not accepted, please try again with new data"

    ????

    • I had similar errors keep coming up, "sorry, something went wrong" all through the application process, it then just failed and when I tried to login again, it says I'm not eligible. I contacted support and they said that their bot decided I was ineligible; I asked how is that possible if I couldn't even finish my application and the support person, said that's the way it is. I then asked to remove my details and they said they couldn't for security purposes! Starting to think I may actually be lucky as their support left a lot to be desired!

  • Signed up tonight and took advantage of the $10 first time offer and then made purchase via Shopback. Hoping both cashbacks come through. Got approved for 1k limit anyway. Not that i plan to really use it.

    • That's the biggest limit I've heard of - it's not a bad proxy for anything you'd normally pay for with a Visa/Mastercard - as you can pay off Bundll with a credit card (for points), and it'll give you an extra few weeks interest free

      • Think someone at top of post was also given a 1k limit.

  • So you just download the app, this is valid for all new customers?

No need to enter any codes or anything?

  • How long did it take for people to receive the $10 cashback?

    • +1

Been 4 days and i still havent got mine. Will contact their support today to see what the deal is?

      • Same here, received nothing. Been more than 72 hours for me.

        • Got my $10 cashback

    • +1

Though just read above it can take up to 7 days. Thought i had read it was 72 hours somewhere but i must have read that wrong. Will wait it out and see.

  • If you buy $10 gift card from ShopBack to get $10 bonus cash back can you also get this $10 cashback from bundll as well? I.e. do the 2 offers stack?

    • According to the ShopBack Rep, yes. But I would have liked my first non-ShopBack $10 bonus to be credited first, before going for the ShopBack one.

  • Bundll app wants your bank login details to sign up. I would be very careful with disclosing this information to an app with unknown origin that is not disclosing data protection and privacy policies. There is no proof or evidence of a secure connection and that information are not being stored. Claim of 3rd party being used to access those information is very worrisome. Who is Proviso? What are their data security and privacy policies? As someone in the cybersecurity space, I would caution against signing up. And if your money suddenly disappears from your bank account, just a warning.

    • I don't recall having to provide my banking details on sign up. I wonder if this applies to all users or only some?

      • +1

Could be a new process added recently? That was the experience I had trying to sign up and did not have an option to skip it..

    • -2

No need to use a real active bank account?

Alternatively BOQ allows you to set up a separate read only login which tends to work for these 3rd party scrapers (like Proviso/illion, Yodlee etc.)

Finally I don't think linking a bank account is even necessary

      • +1

It was part 6 of the sign up process with no option to skip or avoid it.
