They're rated really well in comparison.
The Bar 9.1 seems to get some pretty good reviews
Although the difference between the cinema quality speakers and the consumer quality is night and day. A bit too plasticky for my liking.
JBL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Samsung via Samsung's takeover of Harman in 2016. One would think that it's a fair bet that the technology - now 3 years later - is pretty integrated/comparable between the Samsung parties.
I've bought JBL 5.1 soundbar from JB-HIFI last week. It was listed for $749 online and $800 in their store. The guy over there said they will charge $749 for that and then at checkout they gave me further discount and charged $700. This same item is listed for around $999.

I got a Boombox1 for $320 via eBay / BingLee (~$400) / 20% off coupon. It's great, my only complaint is that JBL have been inconsistent with their pairing protocols. Not all generations are compatible.

You didn't really save $400 since they are $138 @ videopro and $139 @ wireless1 each.
And $109 from some other website I'd never heard of or $90 from AliExpress. But $420+ off the retail figure.
But with delivery in 2-4 days and $127 each delivered, I'm happy. Assuming they are delivered in time…
I understand not wanting to buy from never heard off websites or the roll of the dice aliexpress but you will find videopro and wireless1 deals have been posted here plenty of times with lots of positive votes.
