  Depending on when you purchased, you can expect the shipping details to pop up about three days after they take the funds from you.
  
  I purchased at 9am on the 12th, and my ETA was 17th to 24th.
  
  Payment was taken on Tuesday night, and last night my shipping was updated.
  
  They say that majority of them are coming through Perth, and most updates are done between 6 and 9pm if you live on the Eastern side of Oz.

    Yea, I thought so too.
    
    But when you think about it we were lucky enough to squeeze in that 2 minutes window when the order went live when it wasn't supposed to, went through that emotional roller coaster of not knowing if it was a glitch and getting our order cancelled or not, having it shipped literally within 1-2 days receiving it within less than a week.
    
    Compare that to those who are still scrambling every minute to try and get an order in, or those who still have no idea where their order is even though the pre-ordered back in SEPTEMBER (Some has to wait for december-2021 shipment), I think we got very very lucky.
    
    I'm still baffled at this whole thing really, very grateful for this turn of event that I had 0 control of (although I furiously refresh the Big W page every 1 minute that day)

What if I get a digital edition instead of the disc edition? What if it arrives in a condition that I am not satisfied and I have to return for a refund - are some of my concerns.

I received mine at roughly 9am this morning, based in central Sydney. Shipped from Hoxton Park like others. Didn't actually say out for delivery until this morning even though the tracking says it updated last night at 7:17pm to in transit, they might have got AM and PM mixed up on the tracker. In transit shows (7:17PM) up after Booked for Delivery (7:20PM). I received the notification text that it was coming today this morning maybe 30 minutes before delivery.

        @Wayneo: Scalping isn't illegal. Obviously people do what they can do discourage it but so far it isn't against the law (unless you sell the goods from a public place. Like HN can't buy all the PS5s and sell them in store for $2k each).
        
        Not sure about bots, my knowledge doesn't extend to that.
        
        If you breach the T&Cs of a transaction then you simply void the transaction. So your money is returned, you don't get the PS5. Otherwise businesses would make a motza. "We decided all these transactions breach our conditions so we cancel them, keep tjr $$ and the goods. Which we can then sell. Or pretend to sell but then void the transaction". Doesn't work that way at all. If people paid a non refundable deposit that's one thing. But this isn't that. Not sure who is feeding you your info but ignore them.

        Scalping tickets is also legal providing its not more then 10 percent of the sale price,also pending on what state you live in.
        Something that should be thought of with other consumer products.
        To be honest I am quite happy to wait until I walk in and walk out to buy one. Seeing the frustration of everyone around the world makes me frustrated myself. Profiteering should have a cap on it like 10 percent otherwise it should be illegal if found out.
        At the moment I think it is also like the issue we had with toilet paper the hype . But in the end everyone will get one, patience is the key and don't buy one from these individuals ripping off people.
        Maybe also in the future Sony and Microsoft should release near Christmas lol.

    It's basically the date when the next shipment comes in. Vodafone and the gamesmen (amongst others) have an agreed number units allocated in that shipment. Not sure how many units the other retailers have been allocated, only time will tell.

My disc edition ordered from Amazon at 9.06am AEDT 12th Nov, estimated delivery 18th Nov, charged my card on 16th, and my order actually been shipped yesterday 20th, ETA changed to 27th Friday…

Well I noticed that many guys here based in VIC or NSW got their orders shipped from Welshpool Warehouse Perth where is only 15mins away from my home,
however, mine was shipped from Moorebank NSW…Why is that? Whats wrong with you Amazon? Such a waste of time and money!!

Ordered mine from amazon at around 10.30am on 12th for 18-23rd Dec delivery and been watching the bar slowly shift from ordered to shipped…now one third of the way down, hopefully just a couple more weeks. Too scared to change shipping option at this point.
