      Regarding Sony Orders - Just got this from Live chat!!

      "Hi X. Thanks for waiting. Upon checking with our sales team, they have advised that your order will be shipped on the 7th of this month, which will be next monday. Once it has been released, you will receive a confirmation email regarding the tracking and contact details of the courier."

    In case it helps anyone manage their expectations (something I wasn't able to manage very well the past few days!), here's my timeline of events:
    + Ordered disc version on 12th November ~9am with Amazon (shipping to Sydney). ETA 18th December.
    + Credit card showed a pending transaction on the 28th November.
    + Amazon emailed saying the PS5 has been shipped (with Australia Post) and is currently in Dandenong Vic - new ETA 10th of December.

    For anyone waiting on their Sony order from Monday.

    Today I called Sony to clarify if I had a console allocated. I was told that if you head to https://store.sony.com.au/orderstatus and put in your order details, you have one allocated IF you have a tick in both "order placed" and "order accepted".

    The rep said that they are expecting delivery of the PS5 consoles on or before the 8th of December. It will then be between 3 and 5 days within the warehouse system to have them inbound, processed, and for pickup by local shipping to then be delivered. Consoles are expected to be delivered from the week beginning the 14th.

    Hope that helps anyone else wondering. Clearest answer I've had from the handful of calls I have made.

      Has been on and off most the day, can see it in my wishlist but after that not sure what to do lol. I've clicked on the ps5 while in the wishlist but just takes me back to the ps5 page where it says pre-orders have closed.
      Thing is in my wishlist it changed from no longer available to Preorder not long ago.

      Price has also gone from $749.95 to $9,999.99 so assume all gone or an error. Or some hefty scalping going on haha

        Always a good idea to have a security camera or you can use an app called "Alfred camera" to make your old phone into a wifi security camera with free cloud storage included, that's what I use sometimes

    When I missed out on the last drop in november (had it in my JBHIFI cart and couldn't check out), I complained and was put on a priority list for the next shipment. Got a text from them today with a link to purchase. Apparently their next shipment is arriving around the 14th of december. I grabbed it and paid no worries.
