Heyo, Dell Black Friday deals are back, have the S2721Q and the S2721QS (height adjustable variant). Both at their cheapest prices ever. Both monitors are the same 4k UHD and confirmed to have HDCP 2.2. The difference between them is QS has a much more versatile stand, whilst the Q only has tilt(not an issue if you vesa mount). For this deal we have 1100 units on the Q and 1400 units on the QS.

    Still waiting for my monitor to be delivered….

    after watching Australia Post/Startrack tracking everyday until delivery day and receiving nothing, i waited another day.. still nothing..
    I then contacted Australia Post/Startrack only to be told dell didn't put a delivery address on my monitor only my name, area / post code and some members.ebay.com code as my address.
    In contact with Australia Post still waiting to receive my monitor

      Let me know how this pans out, that's very odd as Dell prints labels based on the info you have provided them. Once you get a response from auspost, if it's not as simple as we'll drop of your monitor in x days, dm me your order number and we can try get your info verified.

        I just called startrack and same thing has heppend to me, they said I need to contact dell then dell need to give startrack premission to update the address so they can then deliver it. Are you able to help LiMaaa? cheers.

            I finally got my Monitor today…
            looked at my tracking today it finally updated awaiting pick up @ startrack
            can confirm my shipping address was [email protected]
            which was the same address as put on my dell invoice.

                I have contacted dell ebay and informed them of the issue, hopefully no one else has this problem.

                Also had the same thing with startrack saying need to contact dell, i did ask if i could pick up at depot as it was local they said they will lodge a request for pick up but may not accept as no address. Contacted Australia Post instead, they said would request for change of address which i did twice and nothing changed. But, got my monitor in the end so something must of worked..

                But they did lodge a request for pick up, as i asked if i could pick up from depot as it was local.. maybe, that was finally processed after 4 days..

      I'm starting to think the same thing has happend to me, current status is Held at Delivery Depot. and when I check the Dell invoice the deliver to section just has name, suburb / post code and some members.ebay.com code as my address. Did you get it sorted? looks like im going to have to give starttrack a call.

    How are people going with dead or bright pixels on the S2721Q panel?

    Haven’t heard any feedback, wondering what the general level of quality is like.

    Mine has at least 5-6 bright pixels scattered around - hardly noticeable in normal usage, so I’m not sure whether to pursue an exchange under Dell’s Premium Panel warranty.

    (I think they’re bright pixels anyway - only visible on a black background, not on other coloured backgrounds.)

    Well mine was sitting at the depot (Melb) since the start of the week. Only for Startrack to tell me it's been damaged in transit which they knew about for two days before telling me (after I called them this morning). Dell say it will take them 4 business days to investigate….Seriously, WTF?????

          By whom, LiMaaa? He said he’s not Dell employee so good luck with that. Dell would also say they didn’t made any promises. StarTrack wouldn’t care. Maybe LiMaaa would compensate you with another deal and get a better experience that time.

              @Mydc5r: I think he only had to put that he’s associated with Dell as he has been asked before why he can get these amazing deals from them (he even had to explain this with mods) but he explained in the past the he only love doing this and not getting any compensation himself from these (that’s at least what I know based on comments from previous deals but I could be mistaken).

    its late on the 20th, and my Dell order tracking still says in production. I have received no extra emails from eBay or dell about a delay, the DB shencker tracking says there is no stock for my order.

    been waiting patiently, so hoping it is just delayed and will show up tomorrow…

      I am exactly in your boat too, but I got an email from Dell asking me how I am enjoying my purchase and to rate them…..bunch of tw@-#!

      The whole idea placing via this associated post, with "1000 in stock" message has really annoyed me, if they were in stock then where are they?!

      I only got like 10 days off and I wanted to enjoy with some gaming time, first cyberpunk goes to the toilet and now Dell.

      Mine is still stuck in limbo at the star track depot. Waiting for Dell to contact them and correct my address, as Dell put some random numbers down for my postal address. Everyone still waiting if you have an invoice check the 'deliver to:" section, if it just has your name then underneath something like [email protected] then underneath that your suburb and post code the same thing may have happened to you.

          I wonder if the person who bought 10 of the monitors received theirs yet. I am thankful that I am one of the people who received their monitor(s) by early December.

          I really don’t understand this delay, I thought the monitors were already manufactured and allocated before they approved the deal. All this shipping labelling mistake on top of the inventory issue/production delay is a big mess and shouldn’t be happening with a company of Dell’s scale.

    Well I worked out why mine hasn't come - turns out they never actually sent it and they mistakenly added someone else's order number/tracking to my eBay order. At least mine should be shipping this week… maybe. Excerpt from the eBay message I got below. Took a few back and forth exchanges and some chasing up to get it rebooked, but hopefully it comes this time.

    We have escalated this with our Head Office and we have been informed that there was an error within our internal teams which has resulted the issue. We are really sorry about this. Your order has already been rebooked and we are expecting for the new booking number by early next week.

    LiMaa has disappeared too, and is not replying to my DMs.

    Extremely disappointed, and not sure what to do at this point.

        This is from Dell yesterday "We are currently experiencing service impacts from our Warehouse and Logistics side due to the overwhelming number of orders we have received during Black Friday sale that has resulted in some delays".

        It seems we just got unlucky :( my estimate on Dell website is 4th Jan which is only 2 weeks delayed so not end of the world. Dell also offered to throw in a free gaming mouse due to the delay which I appreciate.

        I just hope it actually does come at that time..!

      We are dealing with untrustworthy people here.
      My monitor was expected to arrive before Xmas. Then the new delivery date changed to 17 Jan 2021 and now its end of Feb 2021.
      Its a shame that Dell Australia has resorted to cheating people of their money with false promises and endless lies.
      No responses from Limaaa or Dell eBay.
      I made several phone calls and the customer reps just say sorry your item is still in production and we don't know when your order will be fulfilled.

    Finally got my monitor, but wish I read the rtings horizontal viewing angle update on it before agreeing to get the monitor re-shipped. So much for "Brilliant from every angle".

    Update 12/08/2020: We've retested the horizontal viewing angle, as some users have reported that the edge of the screen seems blurrier than the rest when viewed at an angle. This is normal for most monitors since that area is behind the border, but it's a bit more noticeable on this monitor. The score hasn't changed.

    My Korean monitor with questionable build quality and the same bezel thickness (Crossover 2714UD slim) is less blurrier/dark on the edges compared to this Dell monitor.

      Yes, I was quite shock when I saw the quality of the packaging and the box. It looked worse when it also had scuff marks around the box from transit. I accepted it as I thought maybe these were budget monitors so Dell skimped on the packaging but apparently the DGF monitors also come in a similar box.
