  • Great for pumping lots of balls at once, not so good for road bike tires.

    • I use one of those home shopping network Airhawks for my bike tyres and it's brilliant, was tempted by this so thanks for the feedback!

    • +1

I find it the opposite. It was painful to do soccer balls. Didn't work well at the low pressure. Bike tyres/car tyres are fine for topping up.
      Pool floats are great.

      • Presta Valve ?

        • Nope - after i while my hose leaked so I pulled it apart and put on ta new hose with a presta/schrader combo. Easily inflates road bicycle tyres to 120psi.

    What’s the rrp?

  • +9

Fairly certain it's been this price for at least the last 3 months

  • +4

Great device. Have used it for tyres (car, trailer and bike), inflatable mattresses (to pump up and deflate), pool toys, and balls. Highly recommend. Think I grabbed it at this price about 6 months ago.

    • +2

Had mine for about 3-4 years now and hasn't skipped a beat! Great for pumping up that summer pool real quick.

  • +1

Regular price no? Ozito have a version for ~$89 from Bunnings. Does pretty much the same thing but it’s no longer listed on their website?

    • +1

I have the ozito one also, great as its a hybrid and has 240v to plug into a wall along with the 18v so you have a choice. Just went to look and can't find it listed on the Bunnings website??

      • +2

I've been keeping my eye out for a price drop on this Ozito model. I haven't been able to see it on the website or on Pricehipster for some time. But last time I was in Bunnings I checked in the tools section, they do still have them. Still $89

        • Only some tool shops still have them stocked…others the demo models and tags have quietly disappeared. Been waiting for clearance reductions to purchase.

  • +2

I have the DeWalt version, these things are fantastic. Very convenient. I keep my car tyres inflated, and take it camping for the mattresses

  • +1

This is the normal price but there has been scarce stock lately (mine broke and I was waiting for a warranty swap at Bunnings)

Kinda wish they released the new US model here because they improved the flimsy plastic tube (which is what broke on mine) but it’s a great device.

  • These are great. I have the DeWalt version and so handy to have at the house to keep the cars tires in tip top condition.

  • +1

The normal price used to be $99 a few years ago. Great tool for the bike and car.

  • +1

Pity Ryobi hasn't brought in the version they sell in the US - it seems that one has much better pressure accuracy than our version.

    • It pops up on amazon every now and then, I picked up the US version after hearing that the current version isn't accurate.

  • I recently bought the cheapy 12v air mattress pump from Kathmandu due to scoring one of their $20 off vouchers, bringing it down to $8, which seemed fair. Looks like it's even less now. Needed one to pump up my kids inflatable gigantic unicorns.

  • I am satisfied with this as well however gauge didn't seem so accurate. Basketballs recommended for 8psi, but it doesn't bounce much if I set it to 8. I had to go for 14psi to get required bounce.
Maybe it is calibrated for ~30psi for car tyres. Haven't tested it on servo yet

I recently bought the Ozito, and its been great and as another said, battery or mains great combo.
Car tyres very slow though.. but i have a high power mains compressor for that. These portables are fantastic to take away.

  • Also have the DeWalt - very handy device!

Normal price (although not much history). What makes this a deal? Just because the poster can't find it cheaper doesn't make it bargain.

I got this one for $79 3 years ago and $59 6 years ago.

This thing still going strong after 3 years.

Good unit and it is quick compare to Xaiomi

  • Are these any good at reinflation tyres after being deflated to 15psi when 4x4ing on the beach?

    • I'd like to know too. I already take my ryobi drill when I go away just in case.. this would be handy to buy instead of an air compressor.

    • Yeah, I've used it about 5 times to inflate 4*32" muddies after some 4x4 (from 20psi though, haven't driven on sand yet and haven't needed to go lower). I use a 5ah battery and it only loses a bar or two after doing all tyres.

Very handy to just set the target PSI and walk off as well. Takes about twice as long as my mates twin thumper, but I don't mind when I don't have to stand next to the wheel.

Also take a Roybi work light and misting fan (depending on the weather) pefect camping system for me ;-)

i got this one 3 years ago RRP is 99 only

  • +1

+1 to the had one for ages count

I thought this was about the normal price, or maybe $99 like Bryan said above me? Though it was years ago I did get it at Bunnings at whatever the normal price was back then which I was sure was about $100ish.

Ryobi One+ junkie here got my eyes on the brushless circular saw next, that bugger is a bit dearer :(

  • Merged from Ryobi One+ 18V Cordless Air Inflator and Deflator (Tool Only) - $109 C&C /+ Delivery @ Bunnings

Have been looking for this for a while now, cheapest I've been able to find it as stock is rare during COVID.

Great for pumping up car tyres and I use it on the three cars, bicycle, and trailer at my house .Just set the digital pressure gauge and it stops automatically. Much more convenient than using my big air compressor.

    • What size car tyres?

    • How much is it normally?

    • thought this was normal price

    • How much is the battery for it?

    • Any idea what the difference between the local and imported version on Amazon for $95.50 is?

      • +1

I have the Amazon version. The main selling point for me was the screw-in connector to the tyre valve (which I need for one of my machines with a tight fit), rather than the lever-type connector on the Bunnings version. The Amazon version also has the battery in a different orientation so that you can't see the "charge level" lights on the battery, whereas the Bunnings version has the battery lights visible. I think the Amazon version is the newer one but comparative reviews say there's not really much functional difference.

      • According to tests on YT, the US version is much more accurate. I understand the Aust version is the older model which either under or over inflates (I can't remember which).

    • It looks like this has a presta valve adaptor. Can anyone please confirm?

      • +1

The manual says it has one, yes.

    • Great device that I use to pump up pool toys, car and trailer tyres, bike tyres and air mattresses. The deflator is also handy for packing away the mattresses. This however is normal price as paid $109 about 6 months ago.
