Noticed these were 20% off on the Amazon listing with no code and hadn't been posted before.
Amazon doesnt state the end date for the deal so not sure when it finishes.

    It's got a solid aluminum body, but i would say the main draw for this torch is it's tiny size.

    I would say there are some other more rugged torches they have. Check their amazon store

      I just ordered a edc01 which apparently you can swap out the tube. Only risk is not fitting and the led may burn out under extended turbo use. This is with the thin aluminum pcb which they've made thicker and swapped out the material to copper.

    No. Start with a convoy c8 from gearbest. or maybe the updated c8+

    Perfect all rounder. Was my first led torch 7 years ago and I still use it. This lumintop is a keychain light with low beam distance.

      There are so many options to choose from. C8+ with KW CSLNM1.TG 6500K white emitter for approx AU$30:

      You'd need to get an 18650 cell and charger… e.g. Sanyo NCR18650GA or Samsung 18650 30Q from techaroundyou's website (cheaper if you get 2x on their website) or ebay, or supersports600's ebay. XTAR PB2S charger is pretty handy (XTAR official on AE seems way cheaper than locally).

      Would a thrower like the C8+ be a bit impractical when walking through the bush or down narrow dirt paths with trees everywhere?

      My C8+ with red emitter has a fair amount of spill. But the hotspot may be annoying if you accidentally shine it on a nearby tree trunk.

      I'd be more inclined to use a flooder rather than a thrower. E.g. Sofirn IF25A 4000K with 21700 battery built-in USB-C charger.

  There is a 10440 tube coming soon from lumintop so I think they are selling off these before bringing it out with larger tube. The longer tube will have a much longer runtime and be more usable for the tiny light IMO.

  Wouldn’t bother with the GT Nano at this price. Only buy it if you understand that its a gimmick of high throw relative to the tiny size.
  Battery is super weak. Low CRI
