    Signed up for a trial last time this was posted. Impressed with the audio quality, interface & selection. Only downside for me was that unlike Spotify google devices don’t link with Deezer. Not that you can’t connect via Bluetooth, but I’d be nice to have that functionality.

      Connecting via Bluetooth would nullify the reason get higher quality audio though. The only way you would benefit would be listening in a sound isolated room with very high end gear.

        That should be true, but I did notice a difference between Spotify & Deezer on some songs. Maybe the difference was the original recording that they were streaming? That said that was only going by what I was hearing, so my impression could be incorrect.

            @onlinepred: Just through the google home & a jbl sound bar & I’m not an audiophile so its just my impression. I’ve used Spotify a fair bit & noticed the quality seemed better when I switched to Deezer, but really it’s just my subjective opinion after hearing both…

              @dscott85: Yea you won't notice a difference in sound quality at all, only equaliser. JBL soundbar won't even cover most frequencies you are paying extra money to hear, same as the Google home. You will get greater value setting an EQ.

    One reason to use Deezer over other streaming services is that they're trying to get the labels to agree to what is a much better revenue allocation model:

    Opus is a better streaming codec but anything to avoid Apple and Google is a good thing.

      I just redeemed it through an old account which i left dormant for ages. I guess there's a timeout before you can do a trial again. It's probably 12 months.

    Shame Deezer's library is a bit rubbish. Wait for spotify hi-fi to come out later this year, It'll be the end game for 95% of ppl.
    I currently have tidal hifi and spotify and have scoped amazon and deezer as alternative for my tastes…which haven't been close to being worth the change.

    FLAC is better than MP3 but it is not as if you were "right in the recording studio." If you want that then you want Tidal or Qobuz. 24bit 192Khz would get you as close as you can get to the recording studio without buying vinyls. Masters are not recorded in 16bit 41khz.

    Waiting on qobuz myself. Australia launch will be imminent. Prices look ok as well and can be seen on their AU website. If you can get on a family plan with 6 members for a yearly subscription it would be about $70 per individual a year.
