I had issues with this store in the past. I did not say anything as I thought maybe it was a one-off. But I've noticed a few other ozbargainers on the different post saying they have a negative experience too.

    • I purchased before and had no issues. Got quick replies to queries, too. Not recently, though, so maybe slipping a bit?

Good time to raise your game then, Mobileciti.

      ;)

    • I brought 2 mobile from them many years ago. No problem what so ever. Not sure whether anything has changed.

    • I purchased a few times from them before and no problems including a full refund for faulty an item.

    • Yes, that's why I never said anything until recently. But I noticed a few other people complaining on previous deals.

For example, on a previous deal someone said it took them months to get a refund/repair. After exchanging a lot of messages.

  • Realme C3 is a steal— great for parents or a spare.

Not this one though, get the unlocked one from JB-hifi.

    • Extra $1 for dual sim unlocked at Jb hi-fi.

Optus Realme C3 $99 for those who don't mind locked to Optus.

$119 @ Jb hi-fi + shipping or free click and collect

$119 @ Amazon with free delivery with prime.

    • realme C3 (6.5", 5000mAh, 64GB/3GB, RMX2020, Opt)

They're selling the same thing. Optus unfortunately means no dual sim.

      • +1

For an extra $1 you can dual sim unlocked from JB HI-FI.

    • Jb Hi-Fi and Amazon are unlocked.

    • Detailed description lists both as the Oppo A15 32gb - Great price if its really the X2 Neo

    • Description says Oppo A15 32GB Mystery Blue - 6.5" HD+ Diagonal Screen, Media Tek Helio P35 CPU, Dual Sim, 3GB RAM, AI Tri-Camera, 4230mAh battery

      Misleading website.

    • Good job guys. My bad., I did not noticed.

$99 Optus Realme C3 (same one in the deal)…

    • -3

its ot the same one, how could you compare prepaid locked to Optus vs un-locked

      • +1

You can get them unlocked for free.

        • -2
          • @AHUANG: Nope, aren't yours also Optus Branded?

            • -3

@[Deactivated]: but we charge nothing to unlock

              • +1

@AHUANG: Kinda sketchy. You should make it more clear it's Optus branded.

but we charge nothing to unlock

You didn't answer the question. That still means it's Optus branded.

Are the phone's in their original sealed packaging?

              • +5

@AHUANG: Wow that's down right deceptive. You should put that in your post. Unlocked Optus ones do not get dual sim functionality.

      • Because some of us uses Optus network.

  • +2

I would highly highly recommend you ALL to spend the $1 extra to buy the phone from JB HI FI. https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/realme-c3-64gb-blazing-re….

For $1 more you get dual sim, without carrier limitations.

    Don't buy this. ^.^

    • +1

Isn't it cheaper like a few days ago? Like $88

  • How long is the manufacturer warranty on the realme c3?

    • +4

Get the Realme C3 from JB, only the 5% code is expired, can still be had for $119 - $25 Latitudepay or - $20 Afterpay, so $94/$99.

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/627576

You'd much rather go through JB for warranty claim

    • +1

24 months. It's not bad for $119. But if you search deeper, you most certainly can buy a better phone for a similar price.

      Get this over the Motorola.

Are the phone's in their original sealed packaging?

OP, do you mind answering this question?

I'm curious as to how these Optus branded phones are unlocked.

How did you do it? Did you open up the box and unlock it?

    • -2

yes still sealed, unlocked code ship with phone.

      • +1

        unlocked code ship with phone.

        No deal!

Unlock codes from Optus are for free. Their website for unlocking doesn't work, so they will give the code to you for free if you contact them.

How do you get the unlock codes? Hmmm.

  • +3

PS: Providing a piece of paper with a unlock code for a phone doesn't mean you can title it Optus UNLOCKED Realme C3.

All prepaid phone's which are locked, always have to be advertised as LOCKED.

The ability to get an unlock code regardless whether it's free doesn't make the phone UNLOCKED.

UNLOCKED for Brand New phone's mean it is unlocked from the manufacturer WITHOUT any hurdles to go through.

    Neg for deception.

You should advertise it as locked Optus Realme C3 but unlock code provided…

Regardless, you get those codes for free so why just save the money and buy straight from Optus?

  • +2

    TItle and description is misleading.

Please update title to Optus Realme C3.

Please also update the description to Realme C3 Optus LOCKED.

There has to be a clear line drawn here. Carrier unlocked handsets (brand new) has ALWAYS meant it is unlocked from the box - that is, no further action is required of you to access all mobile networks.

It's simple stuff. OP is selling a LOCKED Optus phone but is classifying it as unlocked. Providing a unlock code doesn't give you the right to title the handset as unlocked. Carrier functionality whether it is unlocked/locked always refers to its network status from the box for brand new phones.

Hence, the deal should be updated to Locked Optus Realme C3. However, a unlock code is provided by the OP.

This doesn't make it any better, considering you can get it cheaper straight from the Optus Website and get the unlock code for free.

All in all, pretty disappointing. You would think this would be made more clear from the start, especially coming from a store that sells phones as their business.

You should clearly advertise that it is Optus Branded and Locked.
