Seems pretty good value, has a 5600H and 16GB RAM compared to the HN deal which only has an i5-10300H and 8GB RAM.

10500H vs 5600M
MSi is better looking for the office. Acer Nitro is more flashy.
45% ntsc display on the msi….
What the wattage on RTX3060?
Anybody got an answer to this?
Good to see the proper Zen3 based Ryzens starting to appear in laptops finally.
Think you are mistaken mate, zen3 laptops have be in stock since the beginning of this year, and since intel didnt release 11th gen h45 machines until recently, 5800h and 5900hx are the mainstay for most high end laptops. It's only in cheaper machines, are there no presence of zen3 chips, since AMD cant match the production of the intel chips, and that intel have a huge stockpile of old chips rebranded as 10200h/300h/400h/500h for lower end gaming laptops.
Id be wary of the screen and read reviews before buying, particularly brightness - that's often where the budget systems cut corners.
I looked at the Acer Nitro 5 at Harvey Norman today and the case feels super cheap and not well built.
Acer < HP < MSI < ASUS ?
Lenovo is on par with Asus for me.
Agree with this comment
I had an Acer notebook only last just more than a year. Never buy again. That's why brand is important.
I bought the Acer Nitro 5 from Harvey Norman today, I love the feel of the case. The ventilation is amazing and I'd rather lightweight than rock solid construction in a laptop.
Edit: wrong thread!
we need Legion 5 Pro or Legion 7 deals!!!
Not this crap
with a 3070!
also a lot more exxy
If they are charging 1500 for 5600h & 3060, corners will be cut.
That doesn’t mean you should judge this laptop before even giving it a go at a tech store.
Nitro 5 is really low quality. I had keyboard problems with mine, and screen is mediocre at best
