pretty sure you have to pay for delievey on eb games and amazon is free expected delievery unless you went for pickup?

I still have the an unopened Mario Game & watch so my collection is growing I am not going to open them ever but I hop the battery doesn't leak?
Lithium Battery don't tend to leak like alkaline, they do tend to swell up which can cause other acute issues, like cracked cases.
Long term swollen batteries (if it occurs) can also out gas / heat up or catch fire (depending on the quality of the battery / safety features.
Actual rate of this occurring I don't know, and would be hard to find.

No quantity control anymore and same thing will happen here and easy got low $60's in the future .
And then when all those low $ are sold as they are no longer produced watch as price increases again. What do you think happens whenever a new console is released. Price of old games and consoles go down to clear them out then years later the demand for them increases and the limited number in new condition is available rise in price. How are the prices now on the NES classics or Vitas going?

That varies depending on the seller. Plus Mario version can still be purchased officially from retailers. Generally price increases happen when the official sellers run out of stock, which now there is a limited number of since Nintendo is no longer manufacturing them since March.

@kungfuman: lol, I know right, my PSP battery exploded after 5 years of being dormant! You have to keep charging these things once every 6-12 months to avoid it.

yes but all the other retailers require you to pay either the full amount or a deposit where is amazon preorders requires no payment at all till its shipped. thats why those other places are still in stock.
I know. I was responding to a upset user who stated "OOS already!😞" and was letting them know that other retailer still have the item if they still wanted to get and was not fortunate enough to get one with Amazon. Better to pay a deposit or shipping fee than miss out entirely if you want one.
EB is legit $10. If you are worried about paying $10, then you should not be buying this.

Of course it's not worth $79.95. If you were a little tacker when Game&Watch was originally a thing, then these create a fuzzy feeling that is priceless! Heh.
The Mario one was I think $70 for while, Amazon had it for $60 but very briefly, I expect the same for this one.
At least with the pre-order guarantee if the price drops at any point Amazon would match it, worse case you keep track and cancel before they post.

That's pretty much Nintendo's business model. Remaster an old game for new console and charge full price for it and keep doing it for each new generation. They will probably remaster for the pro too and I doubt there will be many if any free pro updates for exisiting switch games. At least in this case you get some hardware for that $79 lol
