Dont worry still plenty tech fast fan boi and affiliates defend them

Don't think this is a safe time to order due to security issues and deal should be removed.

We are looking into, and doing everything necessary, right now and will contact all customers who purchased with us. I will provide an update later, but running commentary isn't possible. Of course, we apologise without reservation if anyone is affected.

Looks like your shopping cart plugin is out of date. I'd seriously recommend updating that as it's usually how these get through. As well as updating all other components of the site, because Magento Shoplift was patched in 2015.

  • Ordered a PC from here last week, new it was to good to be true. Now need to work out if im at risk and need to cancel/change over my card…

You should be fine, seems the affected period is between yesterday and today.
Likely worst case is that your personal details have been lifted, in the event that the backend database was hacked (may not be the case).
CC details should be safe, unless you entered them in the site during the affected period.

Disclaimer - this is all speculative.

My statement on the situation is here. To put your mind at ease, we know the exact timings and you are not affected by this situation.

      • Thanks Luke.

Was actually about to pull the trigger until I saw the security issue…

  • Now I'm scared. I went on this website about to buy, but stolen credit card details is a big no go!!!

    No "deal" is worth scammers!!!

Has this been reported to OAIC yet?
I really don't feel comfortable and the lack of updates is quite concerning…

This is why I use PayPal wherever possible.

  • How does this build compare to the 3070Ti version?? Is it worth the $400 jump in price??

Omg. They acknowledged there was an issue, advised they're looking into it, and it's been stopped. Get your tin foil hats off and take a back seat. All these "omg this is why their prices are so cheap" nut jobs are people who never would've bought anyways and just like to troll forums. Techfaat is a reputable company with a bricks and mortar location here in SA. Sounds like someone got through their security the last 24 hours and they're now investigating it. Its happened to way larger companies than Techfast and I see you're all still buying Playstations and using IPhones (to name just two companies off the top of my head).

I bought a pc from them last year in October and it's still going strong. What I bought in October is now the rrp of my gpu alone so don't be pitch forking and stirring up drama for the sake of making drama. I met Luke when I picked up my PC and the blokes at Techfast are decent who go out of their way to make you guys budget friendly computers. Disgusting how quickly to see you guys turn on them.

    • "Techfaat"
      Lol

More like "lol" if that's all you got from my post that I typed on my phone while taking a dump 😂

When u met him Was…Was Luke illumined by god rays sitting upon a throne of Lance v cases with a bunch of OzB nerds feeding him cheetos & Mtn Dew??

  • Hi @luketechfast I haven't ordered yet, but with what's going on can we order and do bank transfers ? I'm not sure if all fixed yet…thanks

    • Hi, the issue was resolved earlier today, and does not affect Bank Deposit orders. My statement is here.

Why is this deal and link still up when there is clearly a major cyber sec incident going on. Techfast should take the site down and OB should remove the post…

    • Wow how mad are you bruh? The comments clearly show it's been fixed, but yeah, keep acting outraged Karen "iTs a MajOR cyBeR SeC inCiDenT!!!!111" lmao so much cringe on this thread. The response from techfast is as good as can be expected at this point

        Why are you so emotional?

Pardon my ignorance, but what is 'non-LHR'?

      • Hey @blackfox, if you went for this rig to max out what would you skimp on if need to save a buck or 2. I did this https://nimb.ws/LJps3S ..I would like to stay under 3K if possible. I mainly do Adobe Creative Suite stuff and the odd game here and there..I dot want a PC to last me a good 5+ years..Thanks in advance mate.

        • May be try to go with the included components without upgrades. If you enable your PM I'll send bit more details.

Basically, LHR cards aren't any good for mining crypto. Non-LHR can be used to mine crypto.

  • Hi @luketechfast I have placed an order earlier for 5600x… can i change to this deal instead? Thanks

  • Is there likely to be a cheaper i5 version? Also, do these have TPM 2.0? Thanks!

  • Hi @luketechfast, how many HDD and SSD does this computer case support?

I do have 2 spares HDD and 1 SSD and need to confirm whether this case suits for me or not.

  • +2

I'd happily let anyone take my credit card details if u bring back the sub 2k 3080 deals. Please Luke.

  • Hi there.
Is it possibly to have a choice of the card included?
Also I realize in late to the party here. Am i likely to get in on this if I purchase by tomorrow or Monday?

  • Hi, I purchased a system earlier on and was trying to see if I can upgrade my CPU cooler - are there any specs on the Lance V case that I can use as a guide for measurements ?(case atm is stuck in a server room atm - can't access till later)

    • It looks like the gallery images are temporarily off our website, will get that fixed. Here are the Lance-V case specs.

      • thanks!
