USA gets 5 year warranty , while we get one year and how good is lg with warranty after 1 year with acl ?
I work in returns for a major retailer and boy oh boy are they a lot easier to deal with than say, Samsung.
ACL will give you more then 5 years warranty, believe it. I got the panel on my 2yr old lg replaced last year within a week of calling them up.

Bought LG BX 65" last night as I do not think C1 is that much better to justify additional $560 and also did not want to possibly wait weeks and weeks to get C1. My LG BX 65" delivery was just confirmed for Monday, can't wait.

I got the gallery series this time around which comes with its on wall mount but I've used Selby slim brackets multiple times and they've been good. Fair prices on them too.

Yeah, this is the best TV you can get for the Series X and PS5. I am currently playing Doom Eternal in 120fps mode and it is insanely smooth and feels so responsive.

Yeah, when you consider the the fact that both TVs are almost identical aside from the G1 having a slightly higher peak nits count on the EVO panel, definitely doesn't seem worth the difference in price.

Is much tweaking needed to be made to the display settings to get it looking great for consoles, or is it more or less good to go out of the box?
Pretty much good to go straight out of the box for playing on console. It will detect your console and automatically put it into game optimizer mode and have all the settings set to pretty much perfect. You might just want to adjust a few HDR related settings but that's about it.

Depends what exactly they mean. I view "watching tv" as watching either free to air TV or pay to air TV (eg foxtel etc). Not Netflix or other streaming services or local network watching movies and TV shows

Ordered late Thursday night and got notified that delivery was today (Saturday) between 11 am and 1 pm.
I rang the store first thing this morning (Saturday) and was told that the ordered hadn't been loaded yet so they were able to cancel and refund the order and then they price matched the JB Hi-Fi deal (including free delivery) and it will be now delivered tomorrow.
Very impressed all around with the service at Good Guys Malaga.TGG wouldn't price match for me when I called :(
