nbn Superfast 250/25 Unlimited $89.99/Month for 6 Months (Was $129.99/Month) (FTTP, HFC, Existing Customers Only) @ Internode

191

Stumbled across this when looking at switching to another NBN provider. I believe this is only available if you log into your account and select Change Broadband plan under 'My Services'.

On their website, it lists Superfast 250/25 (200Mbps Typical Evening Speed) offer $99.99/month for 6 months then $129.99/month

Ah, the memories from back when internode was the place to be.

nice to see someone recognising existing customers

  • Anyone have any experience with Internode?

I am yet to come across a truly ‘superfast’ nbn internet service..

You haven't lived in New Zealand then…

  • it's also available to new customers.

    • New customers is $99.99/month.

That might not give you the discount jv. Who wants to test it?

      • true that, my bad

  • Am looking to churn after spending 6 months with SL on this deal. Not quite similar, so ideally could locate another provider prepare to offer $75 for 100/20 (of which I was on and had upgraded to 250/25 at no extra costs). Keep 'em coming!

    • I am in same boat as you. Thinking of going to Exetel for $50 with their 50/20 plan. Seems sufficient to stream in 4k.

You get what you pay for. Many providers dont monitor the usage like Aussie Broadband ( might be few more) and thus during peak hours, speeds can be slow.
I have used Aussie and superloop and dont have speed issues with both.

  • Logged into my account and it's not showing anything faster than 100/20 for a plan change (I'm on FTTP).
However logging in with my parent's account (they got the $0 upgrade to HFC 250/25 per https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/602315) and it's there as a choice.

Suspect this might only be available to those customers who got the free 6 month upgrade.

    • yeah, I'm on HFC and received the free 6 month upgrade, which mine is due to expire on 19/08/2021. I'd be reverting back to the NBN50 plans so went looking elsewhere for a 100Mbps plan for same or cheaper monthly cost. Landed with Superloop (and the 3 month upgrade to 250 again)

mate has the elite mate plan (250/25) for 89 for new customers for the first 6 months, no contract.

  • NBN only or can us Opticomm plebs sneak on?

Apparently very targetted. After 15 years and no speed upgrade or this offer for my FTTP service I think this will be my last month with Node.

  • Only 25 up. Man I wash I kept my old pan

  • I pay for the 100mb with TPG for $89 and they upgraded it for no reason to 250mb 6 months ago.

    • Same here. The dl speeds fluctuates from 10MB/s to 24MB/s. Not complaining though :)

  • lol.. 10 years with Node and didnt receive this offer

I am with AussieBB and on a 248MB Power User plan but had been paying $99 for the past 5 months.. this is the last month before the price jumps to $129.
In the market to look for same speed tier and in same price range < $100.

However, was looking into 5g as well and thinking if this is another good alternative to hop on ?

ELse, i was inclining to use Superloop but saw this so hows Internode in comparison to Superloop ??

    • This deal is for existing Internode customers. Superloop is a good move. I wouldn't be moving from FTTP or HFC to 5G.

I have the offer under myinternode. I just rang Internode and they confirmed that if I change it remains $89.99/month forever, not just the first 6 months. IMO this is a pretty good deal! i was considering changing to ABB but will stay with Internode. (I'm on FTTP btw, and am getting 265/22 during the evening)

  • They're also offering $109.95/month for their gigabit service, only for those that were previously on 100/40 NBN services prior to the speedboost. Discount applies until you cancel or change the plan.

Currently only achievable on FTTP services.
