      • FYI I also contacted support and re-affirmed to them that the product image and link i click from the order page has had the details change.
        They confirmed to me that I would be getting the PowerColour GPU.

        They also said the following:
        "As this is Global store item, the product will be shipped internationally and the package will be delivered to local carrier to attempt the delivery for you. As I'm unable to check about the issue whether it is the package which is mentioned or not until and unless it was delivered to you."

        In summary, this is the product we are telling them to ship so they should ship that one… It seems Amazon AU support can't access what Amazon US are shipping or have in their database. Based on this I would suggest we are getting a CPU…

      I would expect employees operating the warehouse to use only ASIN so unless it changed you will get a CPU.

    There is no point asking customer support (or cancelling the order) - it sounds like you will hear a different answer depending on who you get. Just wait and see what happens when the order is processed.

        From multiple instances, Amazon AU is unable to replace items ordered from Amazon US as that's considered a third party seller so I would not get my hopes up yet.

        • That's my experience as well.

          As the Amazon rep Roldan has mentioned above, they will replace it IF they have the option to process it. From my experience with trying to replace a faulty item that was bought from Amazon US through Amazon AU, the rep will say they will try to initiate a replacement until they realise they don't have this option to replace the item as Amazon US is a third party global seller.

      • Unfortunately, as Amazon US is a third party global seller, Amazon AU won't have the option to replace it. If in the event you do receive the CPU instead, the only options you have are:
        1) Keep the CPU
        2) Return the CPU for a refund.

        If the seller was Amazon AU, they would be able to replace it with the correct item.

  • Just for fun I also contact support, and was advised that there has been lost of queries about this as well. The person cheekily acknowledged there has been an error in listing after putting me on hold for quite a while to check. Then asked for me to wait for the order to arrive as it will be the Sapphire GPU. Let's see… they said they will help with the returns if it is not… lol

      Clearly will either be the bargin of the year, or a total screw you to shoppers. Given Amazon has fixed the first listing, and probably in the process of fixing the second, this means they MAY knowingly ship out incorrect products.

      If they ship out GPU's, then this might be deal of the century.

      After pushing my support contact, I realised they can't access the Amazon US db at all to confirm the listing details, so I suspect any confirmation we are getting from Amazon AU support is just polite and hopeful.

        Contact chat, I just did, when I nicely asked for a voucher I was offered $5, I then said I have friends who got $10 or $20 and the person checked again and said the max they are authorised to give is $20 and gave me $20. Try your luck!

    I just chat with Amazon customer service, with 2 different staffs, one said yes, you will get the item in the title, the other said a lots of people contact for this item and it's under investigation, cannot tell what you will get at the moment. Not sure why I cannot see the option to save the conversation.
    So basicially, HOLD for now, and see what will happen.
    It's a HOLD year for graphic card.

    • Same boat. The rep named Mary Rose confirmed me that i will get what is on the invoice title, which is the RX 6700XT. However, when i am trying to save the conversation as an evidence for arguing in future, there is no option. Maybe, it is better to issue another enquiry via email.

    I do wonder if it's more of an indication that there is an extra layer of complexity canceling the transaction once it has hit the credit card, rather than an indication that you have a graphics card on the way.

    That being said I sincerely hope that some of you nail the graphics card - you should get a forum badge or something for the deal of the year if it comes off!

      that is true, however, Amazon usually doesnt charge your CC until the item you purchased have entered the shipping process, which is why im more inclined to believe that they will ship the item-the actual content of the shipment being another question, however

      • No, it appears that you don't automatically get a voucher and will need to complain to the support chat to get a voucher. They will offer you $5 initially, but you can whinge abit more to get $20.
