    Edifier 820BT $30.79. Use 45% coupon.

This model has +30hour rated battery life for another $8 only red

    • Thanks, grabbed one :)

    • +1

Are they any good? I need one for my 8yo to do home schooling - not so much the sound quality, I need them to last and have stable BT connection…

    • do you know if these also have 3.5mm jack? can't work out from the pictures. useful when the bluetooth connection doesnt play nice.

    • I'm sure I'm way off track but the description in the link provided by OP says :
Fast Charging and 50hrs Long Playtime

What on earth would that be about?
It says that below the product images.

      • +1

not sure I fully understand your question but 800BT model has a battery life of 50 hours. 820BT has battery life of 80 hours.

        • +2

Oh. That's the part I misunderstood.
You were saying +30. Not 30.
When I saw the 50 hours I just assumed that was better. But you were actually saying 80. Not 30.
          Got it. Cheers. :)
Just was thinking in the 30 hours as being in the Max range was basing that on what I know of my QC35II. Your link is saying almost 3 times longer battery life. Wow.

          • @seamonkey: nps. yeah I could have written it better. glad we're on the same page

      • +1

i wouldn't really believe the times it claims, but for 1/2 off you can't really complain, lol.

        • Review says they do stand for the 50hours or so…

    • Thanks - snagged these for one of the kids

    • Bluetooth v4.1?! No wonder they are selling them off cheap

    • +1

Don’t see any coupon on either colour. Has that expired?
Edit: I checked on 830BT model.

    • +2

      Shows as $102 for me

    • $102.08

    • Coming up as $102.80

  • +5

Bought it last week in this red colour.
Made of plastic. Look very cheap.
Sound is ok but worth the $22.49 but not the original price.
Can’t fold the headphone after use to save space.

    • +1

Thanks for that - will pass

      • +3

FYI the 800 cannot be folded, but the 820 can be folded.

        • Will these last more than 3 minutes with kids? (durability, not batteries)

          • @iDroid: I think the battery lasted ~ 40 or more hours on full charge.
I use it for 3 days and still on-battery without switching off to watch YouTube and Netflix on my iPad Pro.
            Quite comfortable on ears.
Is ok for watching movies or videos but not so good for listening to music and MV.

            • @Michael Lim: Thanks Michael, I'm more interested in durability than battey life - just don't want to grab them for the kids and have them busted in 3 minutes.

          • +1

@iDroid: Durability wise will last many months I reckon.
The plastic look durable, hard and strong.

        • I bought one a few days ago for this price. Looks cheap in construction but at this price point noise cancelling is rare and worth a try. Couldn't care less what colour it is. I don't even want one that folds. More flex points, more chance of breakage.

I find my Marshall Major II to be a bit too tight on the ears (I've got a big head) so I'm hoping this is more comfortable for virtual office meetings, which is mostly what I'll be using it for.

          • @coolrunnings:

price point noise cancelling is rare

I'm not sure these have noise cancelling.. It's listed as noise "suppressing", I expect it's just noise "isolation" (the foam pads blocking noise on a closed back headphone).

    • https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07D9BFC4H - 60% off these ones so $20 - on ear though….Reviews are mostly reasonable…

  • Got one for rhe kid

I like red, that means luck

    • I like red, that means very fast

      • I like red, that means goodness, blue means evilness

        • I like/hate Cops. They are very nice devils.

  • anyone tried these?

    • +1

      Avoid.

  • I ordered just to see if it's any good. It's very cheap!

  • Micro USB, right?

    • -1

i think usb c because it has fast charging

      • +1

        Micro usb

        • ..so how can it have fast charging? must be usb-c

          • @9hundred: I have received my delivery yesterday
Full charging time 4.5 hours with micro usb

  • I received my red yesterday from the previous deal
Working from home, good for zoom meetings, lightweight, and has a long battery backup.
The sound is standard, can use for long periods but with no heavy bass, and no crispiness.
Don't consider it for noise cancellation.
    $22.49 value for money.

    • no bass? it says it has ANC, fast charging, bluetooth 5.0, all the latest and greatest features.

      • I received the delivery yesterday,
        Bluetooth 4.0
There is bass available but not punchy
The sound quality is standard but not bad
        There is no ANC
        you can hear everything outside.
        Super battery life

        • I guess it's ok for $22, I was expecting too much.

  • This seems to be a better choice, just based on description: https://www.amazon.com.au/iClever-Kids-Headphones-Bluetooth-…

    • 94db is way too loud imo - see above post

  • I'm not seeing this "Apply 50% coupon" box below the price" anywhere, so maybe already expired.

    • +1

past couple of days, it's been on and off. Keep an eye on it you may still get lucky

      • I was trying to decide between 800BT and 820BT, other than 30 hr extra battery and being able to fold, bluetooth 5.0 vs 4.0, are there any other difference? Does bluetooth 5.0 have more stable connection and allow longer distance?

        • +1

just go with the standard one, bluetooth 4 essentially the same as 5 and it doesn't have an extra 30 hours battery,

          • @9hundred: Just read above you bought it already, I just read the more expensive one is bluetooth 4.1 while the 800bt is bluetooth 5. I am definitely getting the 800bt. Hopefully amazon will discount again, will bite the bullet next time. If you only have to charge it every 28 days, charging 4.5 hours is alright.

            • +1

@htc: yeah it will probably be fine for $22 it's cheapy cheap

            • +1

@htc: here is an even cheaper one for just $20 with active noise canceling https://www.catch.com.au/product/aiwa-active-noise-cancellin…

              • @9hundred: thanks for the link, I prefer longer battery, noise cancelling not so important for me, probably prefer not cancel so I can still hear some noise in case of emergency. So did you get the red one or the other colour in the previous deal posted in last weekend?

                • +1

@htc: bright red, not my preferred choice, will never wear it out in public!

                  • @9hundred: To help you feel better, some ozbargainers commented they prefer red as it brings luck!

  • Got mine yesterday and using them right now listening to tunes and folding clothes ahh it's awesome! The price is amazing considering the quality and performance of these 👍

Playback time on the box actually says 75hrs! ⚡
