The ALDI replica is way saltier.

    • +3

The regular ones are pretty salty to start with.

      • i was thinking the same not sure i would want them any salter

      • I'm known as a guy that likes my salt and the originals are too salty for me

      • Saltier than JVs comments?

    • What about Woolworths replica?

      • damn near identical as far as my taste buds are concerned

        • The reason I asked.. I'm like 99% sure Woolworths and Aldi is the exactly same stuff in different packaging. They also less salty than cheezels if you believe what is printed on the boxes.

If you need 12 packets, you'll get less of a funny look from the Amazon driver than at Woolies checkout.

Got to be better than the look I got for trying to buy dewormer this week. I've got an ichy ass alright boys, it isn't a covid thing.

        ivermectin?

        • Not even, just stock standard Combantrin. I swear it's for my anus.

            @cjhero:

I swear it's for my anus.

            That's what she said.

    • +1

They are back, last couple of days they've come back to WW by the pallet loads

      • I still haven’t seen them

        • I just looked and they are indeed back — Though look at the salt content!

          • @sardines: edit- far out looked at ebay and so many scalpers for Toobs!

I bought 8 packs when it was 1/2 price $1.25. Should I buy more to cut my losses??

    • +6

This will bring down your average price per pack.

The weird thing about AMZ is this will be sent in a nice box .
Yet other orders that cost 4-5 times more get wreck in satchels .

Wait till you order from Amazon US through AU, they send it in a brown paper bag….

"You have to buy 12 packs.."

oohhh ok.. if I must.. :)

  • Ordered; thank you.

I have a weekly gaming night with friends; its just not the same without the end-of-night keyboard wet-wipe for the fake cheese dust.

    It completes the experience.

Slightly off topic but has anyone tried cheese flavoured twisties lately? Completely inferior taste to what I remember as a kid.

    • They took our salts!

    • Chicken twisties are still OG strength.

    • Because your tongue is inferior to when you were a kid.

  • I'll just grab mine from Woolies, 9 packs is all I require.

  • Why are these so salty?

  • Now I just know that I would get in big big trouble for buying this…..

    Damn you delicious carbohydrates…

    Damn you to hell

  • Wonder what's the expiry on the dozen? How long will these unopened?

    • The marked expiry or the real expiry?

Marked is usually quite close, when the price drops like that.

Real; being high in salt and nitrogen sealed, is likely a few years.

      • I’ve found they often only give you 3 months of expiry for the dozen. And careful the price will jump back up if you have subscribe and save.
There’s nothing wrong with eatibg them after the date, but I’ve found after the date, you need to eat them quicker once opening
