Oppo A53s $3/$1.50/$1 Per Month with a 12/24/36 Month-to-Month Mobile Plan @ Optus

130

You can get an Oppo A53s for $36 value $220-280? if you already are on a no contract month to month plan from Optus or plan to get one, $1 a month over 3 years or $3 a month over 12 months, i took the 12 months and was already on a month to month. It was locked but they unlocked it right away when i went through chat and said i needed to use the dual sim.

You just need to stay on a sim plan for 12months - 3 years depending on what you want/choose. i suggest 12M

I will add if you are on Optus older plans you would need to recontact to the new plus plans and would lose data sharing with other plans that are not upgraded to the new system "Optus Plus".

Not for data only / tablet sims, they are just tablet plans not phones.

Click Frenzy Deal, no idea how much longer.

I just used Optus chat and asked if i was eligible and they said yes and ordered it for me on the number i use, i guess make sure to add it to a current plan/number if a current customer.

Phone had google play / normal setup yay

From the link - Click Frenzy Deal: Save $242.64 off RRP $278.64

Got my dad one for Christmas, was no problems except unlocking it for him, i have the $65/500gb sim for a year or so now, so was no extra for me besides the $3 a month and staying for 12 months

This is part of Click Frenzy deals for 2021

  • How do I add it as an existing optus month to month customer? The link in the post requires me to add a plan?

    • I just used optus chat and asked if i was eligible and they said yes and ordered it for me on the number i use, i guess make sure to add it to a current plan, not a new separate one, you could probably check out adding to an existing account/plan but i always make chat do it for me haha, to make sure it goes through properly

  • Means I am buying 5g plan with non 5g device great 😂

    *** Beware ***

Minimum total cost of $336.90 over your selected contract terms includes your chosen add-ons for their minimum term. SIM plan price, inclusions and add-ons may change if your plan changes.

Its showing on website term and condition

    • Any month to month they have should cover that, its why you need to be on a sim for 12 months at least or longer if you choose the 3 year $1 plan, but i am not Optus expert but have got many good deals on devices over the last 5 years. Terms may also not be updated for the deal either, i am unsure but i don't think they are out to scam :)

      • Ah I get it now. You only get the phone for $36 if your on a plan. What’s the minimum amount I will need to pay before I can cancel without fees?

        • +1

$576 get's you the phone on the minimum $45 pm plan for 12 months.

Minimum cost $1656 over three years, including $45 plan.

I would not do the 3 years, only 1, but one year seems good to me as i am going to be using it anyway

  • would be nice if they backdate your contract

Waste of time for me. I share data between 3 sims and they would only allow me this deal if I either 1) cancelled data sharing or 2) switch all the plans to inferior more expensive offerings. I see this as a ploy to coerce people off better value older plans. "New billing system requires me to upgrade"

    • I just added to the offer above.

"I will add if you are on Optus older plans you would need to recontact to the new plus plans and would lose data sharing with other plans that are not upgraded to the new system "Optus Plus"." i have a data sim also i had already re contracted with a tablet i got for $7.5/24 months, $180 for a $400 tablet, but that offer is no more.

      • does optus still offer $10 credit for subbing/bundling multiple services

  • +2

    the plan is expensive

    • +1

$65 for 500gb is what i use for all my internet, so that is cheap for me and people use these plans with optus already, so thought i should let some people know, the deal wont suit everyone :)

      • that's for first 12 months right ?

        double that afterwards ?

        • Move around when the time comes. Rinse and repeat.

        • you get the $65 deal for 12 months $115 after but i am on my 2nd year now as the deal was still around, so still got it. In the optus $65 a month deal around here someone said optus automatically added another year for them

If you are on a sim only plan they will insist on recontracting and you will lose any benefits you have associated.

      • You will have to re-contract even if you are on a new Optus Plus sim only plan.

    • agreed not worthy.

  • If anyone is curious (I asked live chat/sales) they are unable to add the phone repayments to existing sim only mobile broadband plans.

    • +1

i added info that it is not for data sims incase people missed your post, this is just something i knew, guess some may not (data sims have tablet offers sometimes)

      • I thought it was worth asking them, but figured it likely wouldn’t be doable under policy.

  • is Oppo A53 better than Samsung Galaxy S7?
