    Have this. Excellent mower

  • 10m power cable… just a head’s up, need to be plug in

    • All good. I just use a 15m outdoor power extension cable. This mower is perfect for townhouses etc.

I was expecting a mower ARM, instead its just a regular mower = disappointed.

    • like a mower attached to your torso? edward mowerARMs?

  • Heads up - replacement blades now cost twice as much as they used to and are sold by Amazon UK

    • How much is it?

      • $50, used to be $25

        • Cheaper to buy a spare at this price and sell the old one on FB Marketplace

        • can you sharpen it?

        • Was it 25 on amazon?

    • +1

How often does it need replacing?

      • +1

Depends what you mean by "needs". After less than half a dozen mows mine started cutting jagged I.e. grass tips are split/shredded so the lawn gets that white frosted look on top. We have small rocks in a garden bed near the lawn so I think one of those must have gotten in and chipped the blade.

Still many months later and the blade still cuts, the grass just doesn't look as nice as it could 😉

I'd still recommend the mower. Honestly I paid double this on sale and I'd still recommend it at that price.

        • You can sharpen the blades if you have an angle grinder

  • Great unit for small yards.

Get an extension cable if you're doing the median strip.

    • I use it for a large yard.
The other day i filled the green bin and had to compress it

    • doing the median strip

      Look both ways for traffic

Bought this during last price drop and can vouch for the quality - perfect for townhouse!

The only thing that bugs me is I still don't know how to fold the arm. Saw some photos online with folded arms (not 100% sure if it's the exact same model though), but it seems mine doesn't fold :/

You need to flip the red plastic tags at the base of the arms. This should make them looser and you should be able to get the arm out of their slot. It's possible to have these too tight, so you can spin them to make them looser. Then unscrew the red plastic tags in the middle of the arm and it will fold in 2 and lie flat on top of the mower

      • Cheers - so the arms have to be detached from the unit? I thought it can just fold nicely when I loosen the red tags at the base.

        • +1

Should have explained that better. It's not a full unscrew of the middle ones. They come loose but will stay as one piece, so that the two halves of the arms can slide out of each other. You may need to wiggle the screw so the square bit on the end disengages from the square hole in the arm

  • Another recommendation for this unit. Purchased in black friday sales. Great mower and its quiet!!
Make sure to grab an extension cord.

  • Can vouch for this one. Got it last year on Black Friday.

  • Great mower for small areas.

  • I'm 99% sure this is the same one I have at home, also bought from Amazon.

Brilliant mower. Struggles a bit on longer thicker grass but if you don't let it get out of hand it'll be a breeze.

  • Thanks OP.

    just ordered one.

  • The 1500 watt Ozito one is good too.

  • Just bought one!

  • Got one, thank you!

This is ridiculously good for the money. Not just for town houses. I fill most of my 240L bin with one. You quickly get used to handling the cable so much so that you hardly notice it after a few mows.

  • has anyone got experience with this Bosch mower vs Ozito 1200W / 1500W electric mower (wired) mower?

    • Yep, it was close at the start, but in the second round the Bosch hit ghe Ozito with a flying blade and won by TKO.

No complaints re: putting together the catcher on the Bosch, but seems to be a hassle on the Ozito.

      • yeah. ozito wins on warranty though. idk. i'm of 2 minds on this purchase.

        • It's cutting width is only 37cm, compare that to petrol mower 45-54cm. You can get a 44cm mower in this brand but it's more expensive
What this means if for every 4 lanes you mow on the cheapest petrol mower you need to mow 5 lanes with this. It really depends on how big your yard is as to how much that matters.

The smaller the cutting width the cheaper they can make the mower, as it then needs cheaper engine, so although the 44cm version would be more appropriate when matching petrol mowers, they can't get the cost down enough for frequent sales that this model enjoys
