Also TCN has 10% off for JB Hifi which can be used on Apple gear too 👍

    • can i buy jb gc online using any code or is it instore ??

    • I did this just yesterday and paid $1214.10 (10% off $1349) for an iPhone 13 128gb. Tried to price match Costco's price of $1299 however they did not let me. Plenty of TCN gift cards at woollies

      • Is there any limit how much/many gift card you can use at JB in one transaction?

    • Where is this 10% offer? Is it in Woolies stores in Vic?

  • +1

Thanks, really there hasn't been any discounts on apple gift cards for a long time. 5% helps

    • Not sure why you were downvoted, it’s true. Last time I saw discounts was when the old iTunes cards were discounted in ColesWorths.

      • +2

Maybe because a number of discounted gift card portals sell them at a 5% or 6% discount everyday. Granted, that is dependent on you being able to access said portals!

Free access to a mac bank account.

Surprisingly decent (coming from a slightly disgruntled ING supporter)

          • +1

@Caped Baldy: If you’re slightly disgruntled, I wonder what that makes me!

            • +1

@WookieMonster: Yeah, I might need to upgrade my feelings on that. Wasn't impressed with the deposit requirements from a few years but now it's way too confusing. Especially having to increase the balance - I'm in the process of moving so there's a few big ticket items.

        • +1

Huh? Did not realise I had access to one of them. Same discount as here but good to know. Thanks!

1 st comment states how to get 10% makes this deal pretty crappy !

    • +2

Depends… If you want to custom build macbook pro's then JB deal is no good.

      • What JB deal? There’s no current JB deal on Macs.

The very first comment in this deal is referring to 10% off TCN Her or Teen gift cards at Woolworths. If you get your hands on some of those gift cards, you can use them to buy Apple gift cards at JB Hi-Fi. You just need to tell the checkout operator at JB Hi-Fi you’d like to use a cards (or multiple cards) to pay for the Apple gift cards and you’ll be all good.

    • jb gc can't pay iCloud subscription, it may not for you but still useful for others

      • They’re not referring to JB Hi-Fi gift cards at all. They’re referring to a 10% off selected TCN gift cards deal at Woolworths, and you can use TCN (and Ultimate) gift cards to buy Apple gift cards at JB Hi-Fi.

          13. Gift Cards are not redeemable for other Gift Cards.

GC buy GC sounds very money laundering, and probably depends on the person you deal with.

@slimsnorlax: There are two issues with what you have quoted:

            • That is the link for JB Hi-Fi gift cards issued by JB Hi-Fi. I’m not talking about them at all. I’m talking about TCN gift cards issued by TCN, which are multi-retailer gift cards operated by TCN. JB Hi-Fi is a participating retailer in some TCN gift cards, but they merely participate in the scheme. They do not act as the issuer of TCN gift cards, so the link you provided is not applicable for TCN gift cards.

            • Clause 13 has Gift Cards mentioned twice in that sentence. Gift Cards (with titlecase) is defined in clause 1 as JB Hi-Fi Gift Cards, so the sentence you quoted me only states that you cannot use gift cards issued by JB Hi-Fi to purchase other gift cards issued by JB Hi-Fi. That means you can actually use gift cards issued by JB Hi-Fi to purchase PlayStation gift cards, Xbox gift cards, Apple gift cards, etc. Having said that, clause 10 states that JB Hi-Fi reserve the right to not let you redeem gift cards issued by JB Hi-Fi if they suspect fraud may be occurring, but I highly doubt staff would stop you from using gift cards issued by JB Hi-Fi if you want to use it to purchase a $200 Apple gift card.

If you don’t believe me, at least one OzBargainer had plenty of success using TCN gift cards to purchase Apple gift cards at JB Hi-Fi.

@WookieMonster: +1. I purchased Apple GCs with TCN gift cards as well as JB Hifi GC this month.

FYI TCN will manually cancel any card.gift orders paid for using prepaid Visa/Mastercard gift cards.

They cancelled two different orders I placed in the past couple of months, because they could not verify I was the cardholder and cancelled the order out of caution. The cancellation was not automatic and only happened the next business day, so I thought it’d be something to raise and save someone from the hassle.

    • +1

Yes, they scrutinize every purchase, even decline some prepaid type cards used in Gpay e.g. Revolut.

I can imagine that Zip or bundll cant be used, either. Dont waste time dealing with them.

  • Thanks OP. This will get me an extra 5% off my annual Disney sub which is set to renew in a couple of weeks

  • Has anyone got their gift card yet? How long do they usually process it for?

    • If you do not receive it within 3 hrs, it is most likely that you will receive cancellation email tomorrow morning.

Dont bother to ring. The support person you can speak to has very limited authorization.

  • Yeah I paid with Apple Pay/ credit card and had it cancelled. GF had a go at me anyway, so I guess that’s ok. Lol.

  • WASTE OF TIME. USED MY OWN CREDIT CARD, BUT THEY SUSPECT ME OF SOME BULLSH!T.
    Card.Gift
    ORDER GC
    Your order has been canceled
Order CG - Thank you for your recent order with card.gift. We’re emailing to inform you that we are unable to fulfill this order, and your credit card has not been charged. We take security very seriously, and a major part of that is ensuring that orders are placed by the legitimate cardholder. This keeps our customers, other credit card holders and card.gift safe. Unfortunately, we were unable to verify this purchase, and it was declined out of caution. This is not a reflection on you as a shopper, and we apologise for the inconvenience. We understand that you have a number of options when making a purchase, and we’re sorry for this frustration

  • I got cancelled too , but i am relieved, and when a website that doesnt process your order immediately started sounding like a scam. There are other ways. I used shop pay , maybe they preferred real credit card numbers.
