        You’ve linked to a discussion about how long it takes for the Flybuys points to be credited on the Flybuys account.

        This is a completely separate process from the activation of an Apple gift card. Once you purchase an Apple gift card from Coles, funds should be available on the gift card within minutes, although it can take up to 48 hours in some cases.

        This tracking seems to be due to the complimentary AppleCare+ on the invoice. Rest of the amount may get tracked in 2-3 days.

      I ordered a Macbook Air with the free Airpods promo - these were invoiced and sent separately by Apple. Both arrived within a few days.

      Only cashback for the invoice for the Airpods tracked, but not for the Macbook Air.

      Look for retailers deals - JBHi-Fi, Good Guys, HN, etc. Apple deals are usually far in between - Black Friday, Boxing Day, and Back to Uni.
