          please do not get misled by this comment. You will have to have less on the gift card than the amount purchased.
          If you have more credit you will not be able to use the afterpay code. There does not seem to be a way to remove your credit or split the credit manually.

    Last time I used Door Dash the driver picked up two other orders that were in the opposite direction from where I live. Waited an hour for delivery. Food was obviously cold. They would only refund part of the food costs. Never again.

      The trick is to order the second order just before the time is up (or once the first dasher picks up the first order) , they will send a second dasher to pick up your second order at no extra cost.

    You need to select Afterpay for the payment. If you use your existing credits, then you won’t be eligible for this promo. So better not to apply your gift card vouchers on your account. If you have less credits than the order amount then I guess would be ok. But I never tried that one.

    INCOMING RANT:

    From my experience Doordash is the worse delivery app in terms of security that breaks the functionality, hell I can't even add an card to the account, despite asking them on multiple occasions.

    Further, they told my roommate not to worry about the $100 on his locked account, since the credit is good for 3 months, even though it being valid for 3 months isn't helpful if he can't access the account.

          I'm suprised they still haven't fixed it yet, but it turns out you can refund the extra amount.

    I was not able to checkout with or without this offer as I had applied a Doordash gift card to my account, and the credit value exceeded the order value. Afterpay is the default payment method. Keep getting error message:

    Amount must be between $1 and $2000

    So DO NOT apply any doordash gift cards to your account as it may screw things up.

        Ah, order went through when I changed payment method to credit card (and 50% off code still applied). I was on the doordash trial due to earlier afterpay doordash deal.

        Edit: I did get a warning that dashpass benefits don't apply unless I use afterpay but still I got free delivery

        Edit2: I still got charged 10% service fee for the full amount (pre-50% off) even though I got free delivery.

            @razorite: There was a 'change' link under payment details at checkout, I clicked on that and changed default payment method to a saved credit card.

      Cos Doordash gets $20 odd commission from a $50 order. So they breakeven or don't lose much by offering $25. And for people who end up ordering larger amounts, Doordash is still ahead. The restaurant in this case still pays the 30%+ commission either way.

    Ordered fidy bux worth of Subway, AP came to the rescue of fidy off, total cost firdee with inclusive fees, that's seven fidy per foot long and 3 free cookies.

    I'd rather eat at least somewhat healthy that gorge on junk like Maccas or w/e.

    Easy to do, when completing your order, pick AP as payment method and it will ask you if you want to trial DP, you get 3 months and don't forget to put this in AFTERPAYDAY vouchers when completing order.

      OK when you go to make your payment and follow these instructions, choose AP as your payment method and if you have already an AP account it will ask you to sign into it.
      It will then ask you if you want to have 3 months of DP free and use AP as you payment method.
      THEN you have to use AFTERPAYDAY in vouchers to get your 50% off deal once you hit $50 worth of order.
