    God Awful company. Tried this a year ago when they launched in Perth. 2 hours and food still hadn’t come. Stone cold when it did. Refused to offer money back or discount. Told everyone I know to never ever use them.

    Got sucked in by this promo and same deal. Ordered something that normally takes 20-25 mins max on UberEats. Called restaurant and they said they cooked it almost an hour ago. Awful DoorDash company won’t even let to talk to their support unless delivery has taken close to 2 hours. Seriously do not waste your time or money on this company. Hoping they go under really soon as they shouldn’t exist. Absolutely appalling customer service.

    Don’t take my word for it. Read the 900+ 1 star reviews on ProductReview and other websites.

      We have never had an issue with it, I'm far-far northern suburbs and we use it all the time.

  • Made an order this morning for delivery tonight. Order was "waiting to be picked up" then BOOM, cancelled. Apparently restaurant is closed (it's not, I just called them for direct delivery but was told I had to use delivery service). Um….

    • Read the reviews. It’s a very scummy company

    • I had this happen last week by Gami chicken. They accepted the order then 5mins later cancelled. I suspect it was the actual restaurant..

    You don’t need AP to use this, just dash pass. Used it paying with DD credits from the 18% gift card CB.

    Edit: Worked it out. It has to be more then $50 before fees, my order was only $50 after fees. Still a crap company.

    OK DoorDash is a serious rip off. DashPass is supposed to negate delivery fees over $20 when you subscribe right? well not all stores allow this.
    I went to get some things from IGA and was hit with a delivery fee of $8 and service fee of $7. So with my order of $51 I got a saving of $25 and then my order totaled $40?
    Not only are the prices jacked but you have to pay on top of a delivery fee which should be free as you are paying for a subscription then services fees on top?
    A joke is a joke but this is beyond woke.

      There Shouldn’t be any ‘Service Fees’ if you’re paying for Dash pass. Total joke of a company . Now Worth $4+ billion just by scamming everyone

      • There shouldn't be any fees but what they've gone and done is listed IGA outside of this Dash Pass service.
        It's disgusting and misleading given you have to pay for a service to have no delivery fees, what's worse is your order has to be a minimum of $20.

        Menu log offers so much better service across the board.

    • I did mention it could expire early in the banner. I can't remember what it said though but something on the lines of until 20th March or until supplies last.

    I spoke to an agent online too. They said that the promo code is inactive, however, they gave me $10 credit. Still, it's a pretty shady promo to get people to sign up to dashpass/afterpay and then cancel it.

    I ordered 5 ice cream yesterday and paid half price. Today i was hoping to order kebab and fill my freezer. And promo disappeared.

      we have a constant stream of 8% GC and frequent 18-20% GC & i was able to combine all of that for this promo doordash did well and have been doing for quite some time now.

              This company removed the promo code during the Friday night peak with no prior announcement, its back now, which is even worse tbh, as they clearly didnt run out of budget for this, they were just hoping that people would be committed to their plans to get dinner delivered and order at full price anyway.

              Why are you praising them over their refund policy for when your order is wrong, they are legally required to provide this, all food delivery services offer this.

              You're trying to defend them because the banner said "while supplies last", yet clearly the "supplies" were still there, as the code is back now.

              Get a grip haha.

                @Vinodra: "anti consumer" LOL the code hasnt showed up for me again but its irrelevant, with any promo on ozb you get it while its active and dont complain its an unspoken rule, i said lenient refund policies which mean they refund more than they owe every single time, no other platform allows 8-20% GCs to be purchased on the regular without limitation.

    Ok well my night was almosted ruined. Invited my tinder date to my place and was going to organise dinner via this doordash promo. We picked our meals and when I entered the promo code, it ended up denied. Luckily she didnt see it and I told her that our meal has been ordered. I ended up ordering the same meal via ubereats to avoid embarrasment, now im $70 out of pocket. Not happy…..now im hoping ubereats doesn't cancel the order….

    Oh well, least I got half price dinner last night. You people complain too much. Not hard to just cancel dash pass, most people already had after pay anyway. You all go through so many hoops just to catch a bargain, but complain when you have to reverse those steps to opt back out.

      I don't think it's cancelling dashpass that people are complaining about. It's missing out the 50% discount because the promotion ended earlier than expected.

    Starts on thursday, meant to go till Sunday, states up to 5 orders per person and it doesnt even make it to friday night. And when people complain, there seems to be a few people jumping on and saying dont complain? Seriously? It says up to 5 orders and ends on sunday. If they were worried about too many orders shouldnt they have just made it 1 order per person so it could have lasted longer and more people could have used it?

    Banner when viewed on a restaurant page stated up to 5 orders per person and expires 20 March. Nothing about limited supply. Sad times

    I chatted with door dash help before ordering and was told it should be active and to contact after if it didn’t work and they would credit back the equivalent, which they did.
    Bit annoying that it didn’t just apply directly but good that they honoured, and as previous users noted, credit is good as can then apply to other “offers” to essentially stack the discount, since normally can’t use multiple promo codes on same order!

    • They said to me to reach out again if the code doesn't work - they will apply credit. Pretty sweet but I don't know if they might change this policy or if it depends on who picks up your case

        You're not blind, it's through the FAQ.
        I too reached out and got refund 50%.
        They suggested to place the order through web browser, dunno if the code works there, I went ahead through the app.
        They confirmed code was expiring on 20/03
