A shame there's no CPU upgrade option, but if I were getting this I'd do the PRO-VDH WiFi mobo and the 650W Bronze PSU upgrade for sure, and ask in the notes for a Gigabyte GPU if possible.

The storage is tiny, but we should all know someone who can install a reasonably priced m.2 nvme drive cheaper than having to buy an unknown brand 1TB for $149.

Fingers crossed BPC will put something equivalent out soon with nicer components for not much more

Thats what I m hoping for, seems BPC fully listed the exact brands of parts they are using which makes buyers feel better!

  • Luke, please post a build with the highest quality/latest CPU, pretty much a top spec build.

Doesn't seem that great in the context of the $670-680 3060TIs available this morning. For ~$650-700 without gpu you should be able to get at least a basic 5600x build.

In fairness I think most of the cheaper stocks of the GPUs are gone now, but at the rate prices have been plummeting I imagine there will be more deals coming

  • Any chance of an Intel configuration with a case upgrade option?

  • For the 3070ti prebuilt deal, are there any of the MSI PSU's left? Not keen on the gigabyte..

    • Yep, if you're quick

    Allied power supply by default?

Unfortunate timing given today's bargain GPUs with afterpay

$1348 + delivery starting from $52.92 so looking at $1,400.92 minimum.

If it came with a 5600X it would be an OK deal for someone who can't build their own, but with a 3500X it's quite poor value when looking at what's available with the current eBay/Afterpay offer.

With motherboard (MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI) and storage upgraded to 1TB the TechFast build comes to $1,506 + delivery starting from $52.92 so looking at $1,558.92 minimum.

  • Do you guys do eBay or does it sting you too much?

      Nup and yep

      • Yeah I get you would not be able to pass on the savings, keep doing what you're doing, people are happy.

  • Hey Luke, any chance of a 3070ti deal with some decent ram? Happy to pay a bit extra but don't want to get stuck with 3200mhz c18 ram…

    • Understand the request but multiple/specific RAM speed/timing options not really our core market sorry

      • No worries, thanks for the reply.

  • Hey Luke, are we likely to see any new 3080 i7 deals soon? I understand fuel prices have gone up but would be good to see a new deal with the graphics cards prices dropping.

Working on a few deals with new pricing having stabilised a bit!

      • Awesome, thanks Luke
