    Tempted to buy a few of these to hand out to people on the train who insist on loudly FaceTiming/watching videos/playing music with no concern for others. The look on their face is priceless. Having said that, $5 is a bit over the top for this purpose - I'll stick to the cheapies from the $2 shop.

    Heads up that I bought a pair on Wednesday and received on Friday. No signs of 'box-damage', the packaging was practically new.

    Tonality is on the warm side and is non-fatiguing. Treble isn't harsh. Surprising good sound stage. Sounds better when running off a dedicated DAP vs phone.

    The negative reviews I found online seem to focus on the 'build quality', but having had it for a couple days now, the reviews seem to be overly exaggerated. I don't see it failing apart on me unless I treat it poorly.

      No. FYI the best value type C to 3.5mm DAC I found was the Samsung one.

      The iPhone one is better but doesn't work properly on non apple products

        I'd say this one is the best value. Seems to score better than the phone branded ones, and it hardly hisses at all with my super sensitive IEMs.
