½ Price Assorted Ozito PXC 18V Skins (eg 18V LED Worklight $27.48) + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ Bunnings

4710

Looks like Bunnings have finally come to the party and cut the prices on many 18V PXC skins to match Mitre 10's Rockwell deal. Will update as I find them.

Really wanting the jet blower and garden shears but they're not discounted yet.

The hammer drill kit comes with a 2.5ah battery so is excellent value!

18V Radio $29.50 was $54.90
18V Jigsaw $32.50 was $64.98
18V Hybrid Inflator $49.50 was $94
18V Workshop blower $26.98 was $49.90
18V Buffer $39.98 was $79.95
18V Multi function tool $34.50 was $49.98
18V Brushless Hammer Drill Kit $87.50 was $149
18V LED Torch $12.48 was $24.99
18V Orbital Sander $32 was $63.98
2.5ah Battery and charger $61 was $69.98 - Unsure if this was discounted earlier or is part of this sale. Better off getting the hammer drill kit above IMO

It would be a credit card with price protection, i.e the old 28 degrees card or similar.

  • OP Jigsaw back to normal price

    • Still showing $32.50 for me at Joondalup WA, same on Powerpass. Maybe try a different store?

      • +1

Ahh my bad, on the search results page for ozito pxc it shows original price, but when I click on the product it reverts to the special price.

  • Any way to accurately check stock levels real-time without PowerPass?

Can the inflator/deflator pump up a SUP to 15psi would you think?

    • Yep. As it happens just commented about that before I saw your question.

It's not fast but it works hands off. I don't have anything to compare to though as i never bought a manual pump with my SUP, wanted to try the inflator first. How long does it take to get to 15 psi by hand?

      • Approx 15mins by hand. How long does it take by your pump with a battery?

        • +1

I use the mini blower to get my SUP started and then finish with the hand pump. Takes about 5 minutes of hand pumping that way.

          • @Peter Enis: That sounds good. Order placed for that Ozito mini one.

        • +1

I use the high volume first, takes about a minute and a half, then switch to high pressure which takes about 20 mins to 15psi. Set target pressure and walk away, it stops automatically. You'd want a 4ah battery for it, it's about 50% after SUP is full, and I use the inflator to deflate when done too.

I bought a cheap Schrader adaptor on eBay about $6 (surprisingly arrived in 2 weeks from China too). Need one for the high volume hose too, I 3D printed one but I'm sure you can buy those too (there's another Schrader adaptor that has a screw on HR valve part, I've got a feeling that part would screw straight on to the high volume hose)

I guess it will all vary depending on the volume of your SUP. I've got the Kings.

          • @bamzero: I have both kings and irocker. It’s exhausting to pump both manually every time :D

  • The 165 Circular saw is back to full price too :( I wonder if any stores in SA will have it that same price tomorrow.

  • Thanks OP, never knew about the Rockwell sale and just bought 7 tools from Mitre10.

I'm already in the Worx 20V/Toolpro 18V/SCA Garden 18V ecosystem so Rockwell LithiumTech skins/kits are a lot more attractive since I can pool batteries between the different brand's skins.

Rockwell seems to have matched Ozito's 5 year tool warranty, but their battery warranty is pretty garbage at 1yr vs 3yrs of Ozito

  • Should I get the detail sander for $21 or orbital sander for $32? Or both?

    • Both.

    • +2

Perhaps get the orbital sander and the multi tool - that can do detail sanding and a lot of other jobs too

    • Orbital sander is great. For this price don't think about it.

  • +3

Dang. I have couple of ryobi tools. Maybe I should switch. This is too tempting.

    • It is but the benefit is that you likely already have more than 1 Ryobi battery. With this deal getting more than 1 battery for continuity would push up the price a lot.

  • +2

How do you know if something is 50% off or still full price?

    • +1

Powerpass shows the current price as well as retail

      • Can you only access PowerPass app if you are a member/ABN signup?

        • Yeah, need an ABN to register, don't think the app works without registration.

        • ABN is free to get. Then signup for PowerPass as a 'handyman' and away you go. No other checks required; you don't actually have to be in the trades.

Torch Out or stock no deal

    • No stock at your local store, in your state or nationwide? Still plenty in WA, not to mention all the other products that are discounted….

  • +1

Just spotted a tag on the shelf for the recip saw for $32.50 - if you can find stock anywhere…

  • Anyone have any experience with the 18v buffer?

  • Does anyone know if the inflator is compatible with any air blow guns (like this)?

I'd like to replace my air compressor with one, although I use the compressor quite often for cleaning/drying etc.

    • It's not, does not have continuous pressure or tank like a normal air compressor.

  • Stock seems all gone from my local sydney stores - if I do delivery does it come from a different place or likely to be cancelled?

    • If you can go in store you might score. I picked up what I wanted at 7:30am this morning from padstow even though online was out of stock

      • +3

someone is about to have their click and collect order cancelled!

  • Got a refund notice for the worklight. Looks like the store didn't have enough stock.

Batteries are crud, generic cells that don't last long before they refuse to charge, buy a quality brand through a buy now pay later scheme

    • +3

Have you looked at the Battery cells Brand and model i.e. seeing as you noted as being crud? Mine are all still going strong two years in and recharged a few times a week.
PLUS: They do have warranty so if you have a dodgy battery, get it replaced.

  • +2

Ordered last night and it was accepted then immediately cancelled, on auto probably. Went in this morning and plenty of stock. They want people in the door and browsing I reckon.

  • Been waiting in

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-brushless-drill-an…

Is it better to buy these in the combo or seperate ?

    • Brushless impact driver doesn't seem to be available separately.

    • +1

I would get the brushless hammer drill kit for $87.50 and the impact driver separately. The impact may get reduced, not sure…
Doing it this way, it will have a smaller battery (2.5ah vs 4ah) but you get a hammer drill rather than just a drill driver, so it's more versatile…It would be more expensive as the impact is $99 for the skin.

      • Can't say I ever recall the brushless impact on sale, but this is one tool that I use everywhere and was happy to pay RRP just the once for it.

However, The linked combo means you get the impact + 4Ah battery with essentially a free drill, which you can resell or gift. Then get the brushless hammer drill combo as well.

        • I got one for $79.99, think that's the lowest it's gone.

  • Thanks I got the drill kit and the orbital sander.

  • Ordered the orbital sander and the multi tool. Will take back the unopened detail sander I got yesterday.

  • Anyone know if the pole pruner is likely to go on half price?

    • +2

I will ask my crystal ball for you

    • +2

Rockwell do one but the retail price is lower than the equivalent Ozito so not sure if they'll match it or not. Doesn't look like they have done any garden tools yet but the Mitre 10 sale goes until the 15th so plenty of time…In short NFI lol

    • +1

Im interested in the pole pruner aswell would like to see them match rockwell rrp

  • Multi function tool seems to have been removed from the site…

    • Seems to work and then not work.
Still shows in a search and on Powerpass for the same price

      • Yep - it's back - and not - and back again… The site is getting hammered…

  • My 165mm circular saw order was cancelled. No stock apparently 🤔 I wonder if it was a pricing error seeing as the 150mm was the same price. Has anyone tried to switch their order over to delivery instead? Or obtain a rain check?

    • +1

I reckon it was a pricing error as the equivalent Rockwell is 150mm

    • +2

Can always ring Special Orders at your local store to get you one shipped in at the current price

      • Is there any additional fee for the special order?

        • Nope. Just pay when ordering and it locks in the ticket price.

Don't even have to go instore, you can just call and ask for Special Orders Desk. They'll call once your item arrives for (essentially) click & collect

          • @Switchblade88: I just tried to do this at the Tarneit store and the lady said she couldn't do it 🤔 trying to avoid paying $10 for delivery lol. Might need to try another store - she did seem a bit clueless!

            • +1

@milesandbos: I tried to do this at Mill Park (main line, not special orders) and the lady who answered said they don't order from another store for click n collect. Asked me to do delivery from the other store (30kms away).

Delivery cost $10 for 3 tools. Petrol there and back would be more.

      • How will this work since the price has now reverted to the original price for the 165mm?

        • Really? That sucks!

If the listed price is back to $100 they'll only order at that price. Staff can't really do a price override like at The Good Guys.

    • Yeah mine cancelled too at Chatswood.
Got one out in the country - good excuse for a drive (going to Canberra anyway)

  • Hey OP, can add the detail sander @ $21 down from $39 too.

    • I did a post for that one the other day when the grinder and circular saw popped up but may not hurt to have them all in one place

  • +1

Just grabbed a bunch from Northland VIC and Fairfield VIC stores.
Multitool (multiple in stock at Fairfield), detail sander, orbital sander, jigsaw (a couple left at Fairfield), and my favourite… the 250mm chainsaw + 4.0A battery for $67 (last one in store).

  • Picked up the circular saw, sander, multi tool and angle grinder at Port Melbourne. The saw is not showing as in stock but they managed to find one.

    • The 165mm or 150mm? Seems like the larger one was a pricing error and gone back to just under $100

      • 165mm

        • Interesting. Was yours click and collect or was the item ticketed with the reduced price in store?

    • Is this the 150mm or 165mm circular saw? Thanks

  • Thanks Op. Got the blower and the sander. very pleased.

  • So I have two click and collect orders that were accepted last night, but so far not ready to be picked up. My guess is the stock has gone.

Does anyone have experience with click and collect if there is not stock? I am hoping I can just wait for fresh stock, I am in co hurry.

    • I haven't C&C lately but did when the Bosch deals came up a while ago. The store I ordered from didn't have stock, called to let me know and arranged one to be couriered from another store to my house. Was pretty impressed…not sure if they do that regularly or went out of their way

    • i'll suggest you to call them up.

    • I did cc last night and got an email and SMS this morning at 8am to go and collect my order.

    • Doesn't bode well! One of my orders couldn't be fulfilled and I got a text message at 9am. The other could be fulfilled, and I got an email at 7:15am.

    • +1

My personal experience says that they'll cancel your order. I've ordered many bunnings bargains for click and collect that were showing in stock at the time of ordering, only to have them cancelled with the message that there's no stock. My advice would be if you want something go in store.

      • hmm, they have my money, so hopefully can negotiate a raincheck or a store transfer (like another poster mentioned). It's not like these products are discontinued.

      • +2

My order got accepted last night and then received this SMS this morning…
Hi XXX, Unfortunately we are currently out of stock of both the Ozito Jigsaw and Worklight you ordered and therefore have had to cancel your order. We have
refunded the amount for this order back to the original tender. Sorry for any inconvenience

  • I've got a few skins thanks op. Just need an impact driver now

  • Got the buffer polisher, thanks mate

  • Jigsaws all out of stock in VIC according to the website.

  • +1

Bunnings, staff saying no stock, telling me to go to other stores with stock etc. I just told my store get all items in one place and let me know when to come and collect, I am not travelling across the state to collect items. Secondly for people ordering via trade portal, you will most likely miss out as apparently C&C takes priority, so by the time trade order goes in the stock is gone! YMMV.

    • +1

      Evidence to support that theory…
I noticed that a few of these promotional items said 'out of stock' on both the retail website and the retail app, but interestingly the PowerPass app said 'low stock' for the same items. Clearly the PP database gets updated last, after retail orders have been fulfilled.

      • thanks for the heads up, I definitely won't be doing that again!

      • It is not a theory it was told to me by the local store. You might have a different experience.

        • Ok. Good to know. Since you said 'apparently' it wasn't clear that you thought it was based on fact.

  • +3

Wanted the led worklight but completely out of stock in Sydney.
Just walked into my local store and bought the display model right off the shelf! Score.

  • +2

Had to go to a couple stores but managed to get the brushless hammer drill kit, orbital sander and LED torch. LED torch was the toughest - only one local store had 4 left up at the tippy-top of the Tools storage area that we managed to find.

Make sure you ask an employee about stock when you're in store; I had seen several people see the empty shelf and walk away before I asked.

  • +2

    Starter kit with
hammer drill, impact driver, 150mm circular saw, 4Ah, 2.5Ah, fast charger $199.

Might suit someone new to Ozito, who picked up cheap skins.
Old promo item, not on Bunnings website, but plenty stock at Bayswater WA. Where else?

    https://ozito.com.au/products/pxc-18v-hammer-drill-impact-dr…

Most other kits lack the hammer drill, which you need for brick walls.

Im wondering if there is a reciprocal saw skin, but I dont have powerpass. Can somebody check please?

    • Yes there is, I own one. (Not on sale atm)
      .
Ooops - I just checked how much and they are no longer listed, so maybe they are no longer available?

      Sorry

      • yes thanks for replying, apologies as i should have been clearer.
Cant find a link to bunnings so assume no longer made.
Can see it definitely exist on the ozito website
