To celebrate the launch of Telstra Plus Market, we’ve created two special offers to help you earn points even faster.

Offer 1: Get 10,000 Telstra Plus points when you join Telstra Plus Market, and link a credit/debit card, by June 30.

Offer 2: Get 10,000 more points simply by making an eligible purchase by June 30.


  • Step 1: Download the My Telstra app (if you don’t already have it). To download the app, open the App Store (for Apple users) or Google Play (for Android users). Search for My Telstra and select install.

  • Step 2: Register for Telstra Plus Market using your Telstra Plus credentials in the My Telstra app. If you’re not a Telstra Plus member, you’ll need to join.

  • Step 3: Select the offer categories that interest you (such as fashion) and link your credit/debit cards to ensure you earn Telstra Plus points when you spend with participating businesses.

  • Step 4: Start shopping. Browse Telstra Plus Market businesses to find the offers you love. You can choose as many as you like, there’s no limit. Keep an eye out in the app as we’ll continue to add more businesses.

  1. Open app
  2. Click button under your name with number of points you have
  3. Click My Benefits
  4. Under Offers and partners click View Offers
  5. Click Telstra Plus button at top of screen (your on offers button)
  6. Scroll to Latest Member offers
  7. Click the little arrow on the right to scroll through offers and it should be in the list

        • After successfully registering for Telstra Plus Market, I see them in the My Telstra app.

          In the Home tab scroll down to the Telstra Plus Market offers heading and then View all >

          Showing 23 Available Offers for me without enabling location sharing.

      • How do we make sure that the purchase is tracked? That it was clicked from within the Telstra app?

          App/web/cookie tracking is irrelevant.

          This works by monitoring the transactions which occur on the card you added, so any transaction with one of the listed Telstra Plus businesses which is made using your linked card will be reported by Visa, Mastercard or EFTPOS back to Telstra for tracking purposes through their partner Loyalty Now.

          5. Card Linking, Offers and Bonus Points

          By linking your eligible payment card in Telstra Plus Market and providing your consent, you also authorise Mastercard, Visa and EFTPOS Australia (as applicable) to share these eligible transaction details with Telstra to enable us to award you with the Telstra Plus points allocated to the Offers you have redeemed.

          Statement says “T+ Market Bonus Pts: First purchase bonus”

          Not sure when I’ll receive the remaining 10k pts

        WARNING - Offer from The Geek Academy has changed!

        It’s now: “Spend $125 or more and get 1250 bonus Telstra Plus points.”

        So, no more $1 gift voucher to qualify for Offer 2’s 10,000 points. :(

        I’m not sure when this changed exactly, so hopefully people checked the listing in Telstra Plus Market before going ahead with the voucher purchase!

              @kickling: Yes, it certainly is a different offer, but my point is that you can no longer buy a $1 gift voucher to receive the 4 Telstra Plus points and therefore qualify for Offer 2 which is the 10,000 Telstra Plus points.

      If you go onto the homepage of the app (MyTelstra), do you see something about Telstra Plus Market and a signup? When I opened the app and logged in, it came up for registration and I created a Plus Market account through there.

      Potentially might need the most up to date app, I just fresh installed and logged in and could see it.

        Yup. Nothing about getting 10,000 points. You can earn points by shopping on Plus Market that's it.

          Did you sign up to Plus Market in this process? The points didn't show in the app for me either when signing up, but the offer on here is advertised on the site so I'd say the points will come through later and not be targeted.

        I had the 10,000 point offer on the app, but it kept sending me on endless loop back the home page when I tried to signup. I then uninstalled the app and downloaded the My Telstra app again, and now the offer is gone. Telstra is awesome.

      That's to use the service as a seller, as a consumer you don't need to be a business member to get this offer in the OP. I don't even have an active service, but signed up using the instructions and it worked.

      • Yep, finally found the offer when I signed in via my browser for the free prize.
        Now need something cheap to buy to claim the other 10000 points

    Ok here is how to find it:
    Open app
    Click button under your name with number of points you have
    Click My Benefits
    Under Offers and partners click View Offers
    Click Telstra Plus button at top of screen (your on offers button)
    Scroll to Latest Member offers
    Click the little arrow on the right to scroll through offers and it should be in the list

      and then it takes you to a Something went Wrong error page, classic Telstra

        Yeah something funny happened when i did it and it was asking to verify my account so i gave up then 5 min later i got a notification on my phone to complete the verification process a d it all worked from there

      • Check your app is up to date.

      • After that happened to me a few times, 'Telstra Plus Market' then showed up on the Telstra Plus menu in the app.
        I'm on iPhone.

        After you have registered, it will appear in the app. Then you can link a card.

      Followed these instructions but it just takes me back to Telstra plus homepage. Using Android . Looks like it has been fixed now. I managed to link a card and register.

      I click this and it just takes me to the 'Market is now live' page. Clicking 'Register for TP market' just takes me back to the 'View Offers' page -_-

      Screenshot everything 3 times, take a Screen recording, get a family member to record you doing it and if possible find a sketch artist to draw you in the act ;)

      It's not targeted (it's widely advertised publicly), there's probably quite a bit of traffic causing it to glitch out. Maybe give it a few hours and try again I'd say.

    Followed the steps but am seeing "Something went wrong. We couldn't complete the request due to a technical issue." Tried it multiple times with the latest venison of the app. Will try again later.

      I’m still getting “something went wrong” 3.5hours later on both of my accounts. I’ll try again in a day or 2.

    • I kept getting the same. Then I went back and it said not eligible for this offer. Bugger
