Reminds me the old days of Monster cables for $1xx
    🤣

The question is, is it even worth $14

I’d say so. It’s ultra high speed certified. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a certified one cheaper. And yeah, you need a certified one if you want to guarantee things like ATMOS via eARC will actually work.

      • Didn't look properly to realize it was certified. Damn missed out! No Atmos for me though or sorround sound, would the image be different?

        • +1

If you aren’t using eARC, 8k, or 120hz 4K, the high speed cables (18gbps) should be fine.

          • @djsweet: The only 4k 120hz I have is ps5 but that cable should be okay. Just using ebay cables, or older ps4 cable, not sure how they are. Closest store with stock available was 25 minutes drive and now today more than 1 hour away.

I'd say so. Looks like it's got the actual QR code certification.

      • Actually a pretty good price if these are indeed certified.

        • Agreed. That is the first thing I checked. Good price for certified.

    • Gerry H would value them at thousands!

  • Same as cables from ebay?

      Unlikely

Lol just asking, downvoted hard. Thanks for answering, just curious about the quality.

  • Thanks OP. Bought at a local store.

That is the subject of many emails I receive just with a different link…. 😒

      length doesn't matter

      • +1

        It's how you use it ; )

    • Thanks - ordered. I could do with a longer cable between my components cabinet and the TV, the current 2m cable works but it has no slack in it. A 3m certified ultra for this price will hit the spot nicely.

    thanks op got 2 1.5m and 2 3m

      Ditto! Thanks OP

HDMI Certified at this price is AMAZING!

Then again, If you don't have a HDMI 2.1 monitor/TV you might be better off with cheaper 2.0 cables but at this price it's a no brainer

I just get HMDI optic fibre 2.1 cables from Amazon! $50 for 10m 😂

    • Did that last week for my RTX to LG OLED!

      Works perfectly, what a bargain.

    • +1

wow, I just found out about fibre optic hdmi cables!

why the heck didn't we have them before?

Hdmi cables were prone to length issues as the signals degrade with length, but it seems these new fibre optic hdmi cables can do 100 metres with no issues o_0 amazing!
