  • I got my B7 back in 2017 for around this price. I'm glad to see that they haven't increased much with inflation over the last 5 years

Got the same i do want to upgrade for the gaming features but don't know if its even worth it just for that as i did get the pannel replaced for burn in so it's pretty much new. Would there even be any improvements to picture quality on this if anyone knows that would be great.

Is this worth getting or would I be better off waiting for EOFY or July for a better deal?

    • +1

Hard to say - C1's will be phased out eventually for the C2, so you might be able to score slightly better deal. Buy on a credit card with 90 day purchase protection.

      • Those are as rare as hens teeth

        The CCs

    • Difficult to say. It drops to this price every few weeks and will possibly go lower, but only if there's stock. If they sell out everywhere then they won't go lower in price.

You could get these cheaper a few days ago when they had the ebay code, but that's expired now. Not sure if another deal like that will come up.

      • Is it a good idea to buy big purchases like this on eBay? I like the idea of buying from somewhere like JB because of the customer support.

        • Big tv warranties are handled on site. That has been my experience

        • As long as it's a retailer then it's covered under the usual manufacturer warranty. But JB Hifi does provide better support than manufacturers.

    $1885 - FYXTRA

    $2630 - FYXTRA

    • these prices are including delivery - JB charges $75 for delivery. Good deal.

lol these prices seem to be going up each day

  • Appears to be plenty of 48, 55, 65s left to flog but very little in the way of 77 or 83s. At least not discounted in LG or Sony.

  • Best for the 77" is probably Binglee for ~$4900 which gives you a 10% gift card (~$490). You can get 3% cash back with 28degrees and 2% cash rewards.

The TV is even cheaper on their eBay but no gift card and they don't want to price match their own eBay :/

Pulled the trigger not his one thanks.. and its coming tomorrow morning yay!

      • Same but they will deliver it in 2 weeks :/ while it's in stock nearby but it doesn't fit in the car haha

Price protection is ready for any further discount.

        • Bing Lee messed up with stock so I've been waiting for nothing :/ however they offered to reduce the price of the LG c2 77 to $5999 and I can keep the $500 giftbcard.
Still $1000 extra I wasn't planning on spending but otherwise good deal. I should receive it tomorrow.

  • There's a C9 on marketplace near me for $1k. Wonder if I should pull the trigger on the C1 instead.

  • Got this TV locally for $1998 pick up with JBHIFI extra care warranty till 2027 and a bonus TV strap for my toddler. Great bloke that served me. Very happy with my purchase. Was planning to buy a cheapie 75 inch but after looking at the FFalcon I was like yeah nahh

  • Don't attack me with but yeah, JB offered to price matched the 65' c2 for 3.7k. Can't say NO. Long Weekend sorted.

    • Enjoy the tv. Enjoying my 55 inch c1 right now.

      • Yeah repa, lets see what the c2 can do with extra brightness and โ€˜smartโ€™ feature ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  • Just got JB to price match Appliances Online for the 65" C1 via chat. Got it for $2,769 delivered, happy days

    • But at jb they include delivery fee which is like 150 extra, kinda annoying. Do you reckon the price could go back to that level in the next 10 days?

      • They reduced the price to include the delivery fee which was $59, first time I have used JB online and I was impressed with the service

  • I got it for $2420 2 weeks ago from JB and had to return that due to lip sync issues. They gave me a second unit via exchange which was fantastic but the second unit had the same issue with all native apps lagging behind the on screen visuals, but was fine for hdmi it seems where the first had it on both native and hdmi/optical.

The kicker is this was through the TV's speakers, but just by hifi setup.

Playing a YouTube video on my B8 is perfect, same video on the C1 was way out of sync, and not the right way that you can just delay the sound via the setting.

Opted for a refund in the end.. Sucks but didn't want to play TV roulette again given the current batch in circulation may have this issue.

    • I must have a good batch then. My LG has no lip sync issues.
