does this have the chick magnet built in?

    • +10

Certainly does. If chicks are magnetic north, so is this bag.

    • +12

I would say so "Stunning reflective design that produces a vibrant rainbow", I am sure this stunning plumage would be very popular.

    • +1

The higher overclocked "bag a chick" limited edition bags are all sold out.

  • Does this fit Ps5?

    • I'm also looking for a good bag for my ps5, that doesn't say ps5 everywhere on it so that it can get stolen lol

Not a real gaming backpack as it has no RGB

    /s

    Oh wait

Stunning reflective design that produces a vibrant rainbow hue when bright lights hit it to ensure you're more visible in the dark

    • solar powered RGB (prism), research have shown to improve productivity by 300% more than regular RGB.

Will it fit a 17.4 inch laptop?

    • +10

Just cut off 0.4" and you are good to go.

      • +1

Na I rather keep the laptop. But thanks for the suggestion.

        • But what about the "Stunning reflective design that produces a vibrant rainbow hue when bright lights hit it to ensure you're more visible in the dark"? I'm going to buy a laptop just to carry it in this bag.

    • +1

Probably depends on the overall size of it rather than just the screen size. The notebook it says it's designed for has the dimensions 404 x 296 x 25 mm according to its manual.

  • Sorry, we are having trouble processing your order. Please try again.

Tried different payment methods, but only paypal went through successfully. Not accepting debit cards

  • +1

Yeah, alright. I could actually use this. Wish the reflective shiny wasn't there, but it's not a dealbreaker.

    • +1

its pretty dull, nowhere near as obvious as the photos.

    Thank you op, got one

  • Grabbed one from Amazon as I'm not in a rush and I had a $10 credit

I bought the pro 15 version, 17 is a bit large for office use. The pro cost a bit more but consider I can claim tax back so end up around $36 which is still a great price.

Perfect timing as my puppy just chewed through my work bags zip. Thanks!

    • referring to a real dog, or is that what you call your gaming laptop? :)

  • Is there more room than the Essential 15? The 15 proved to be a little on the small side for me

    • +1

      Yes. Much more
Almost too much more honestly with a lot of compartments. I like it. Bought both, only use this one (in the deal) now given the space

Don't forget to apply a student discount code as well.
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/662785

This will bring the price further down to $31.54.

    • nice find, just placed an order with $31.54, need to call them tomorrow to cancel the other order

bought one in the last deal as i cycle to work. the reflective pattern is a bit of extra safety at no extra expense, not really noticeable in daylight. the rain cover is hidden in the bottom. it fits my laptop, headset, power supply , fleecy and lunch box …. the top compartment comes in handy for phone, and stuff that i need to get to easily when i get off my bike …..well thought out product for the intended purpose rather than just a generic backpack which i used before.

    • perfect thanks for the review

    • read your comment and checked the base of mine, its does in indeed have a rain cover in there, a welcome surprise.

  • +1

Thanks for the insight and perfect timing to get one as I needed it, normal payment method worked the others(e.g. paypal) didn't worked for me….so it's best to try out and go for the one that works…also got further 7% off discount.

owned this for a couple of years now, for my Dell G7 17 7700.

the reflective surface is actually quite muted and perfectly tolerable in an office environment. I find the interior to be a little small for my liking, but it's the only bag that actually fits a 17 laptop without problems. it looks very sleek and wears very well, but isn't going to satisfy folks who like lots of compartments and pockets.

    "gaming"

    • gaming usually means that it considers gaming over ear closed back headset as something that people will pack and don’t want damaged vs small office headset or bluetooth ….

  • Would this fit a normal sized lunchbox in it?
Thinking of getting this as a work bag…

    • +1

Easily, you can put a couple of lunchboxes in there without any problems.

      • Awesome, been needing a large bag to hold my 17" laptop, lunchbox and a bunch of portable HDD's :)

  • +4

can you easily scrape off the Dell logo?

    • I want to know this too

    • +1

My backpack just arrived and the logo looks like it's pickoffable with my finger nails if I go at it long enough.

Something to do on the train now

  • My high schoolers are using these for school bags, they are wearing well and fit their stuff. Rain sleeve comes in handy to keep the contents dry even if the kids get soaked.

  • Bought this at the last sale, so far really liking it. Fits laptop well, has room for lunch and mouse/headphones and cables etc.

What I enjoy the most about it though is the handle at the top of the bag near where the shoulder straps join. Don’t realize how handy it is to have the grab point there for rummaging around in the bag or for general chucking the thing in the boot.

  • love how some reflective panels turn a laptop backpack into a gaming backpack

  • thanks op bought one :)

  • +9

Thanks, bought one for my old mate who always carry a laptop in an old shopping plastic bag.

  • I ordered a backpack from their last deal and never received it thanks to StarTracks miserable delivery performance.

  • Picked up the 15 version instead as I don't think I would utilize all of the 17 features and seems a big too big. Thanks OP.

  • Ordered yesterday, got a message saying it will arrive tomorrow

    • Can you post a photo of you wearing its vibrant hues with bright lights in the dark?
