    Ordered easily from store 2k away, received SMS with link to confirm pick up when am ready. Lunch is served🍴

    Could have ordered 3 spicy hot chicken pieces for just over $10, but went for a whole chicken for a little more.

    Ordered pickup but never got the email/SMS… anyone else having this issue?

    • At bottom of order confirmation screen - there is also the link to confirm you are ready to pickup.

        I didn't get the email or text - still haven't. But ended up clicking the "ready to pickup" thing on the confirmation screen and picking up.

          Should have same effect, as confirms order. So purchase is linked to your online order & CR.

    Tried their spicy hot chicken for the first time with this deal. Holy moly it is surprisingly good!

      • Fried chicken pieces with their hot sauce. It’s like a chilli oil coating.

    It appears that some stores don't do pickup and the menu will just stay blank. You need to choose another location and it will appear.

      I like the buttermilk wings. I am trying the regular chicken pops and large chips for $10.90

          They were fresh cooked and not dry. But they did seem like that cheap chicken mix stuff and were pretty bad.

  • I should have confirmed via email instead of text before I left. Every time it's always a 15 minute wait at the store for the fried chicken. When I order delivery it's always like 30 minutes or more later than when it was meant to get delivered. Not sure why they only start cooking the fried chicken when the person arrives or delivery guy arrives at the store. I confirmed by text about 7 minutes before I arrived and that still wasn't enough notice.

      • It happened to me when i ordered from 2 other stores too but have only ordered from the other 2 stores once each. Usually i order from this store which is the closest store to me. Generally i get delivered but occasionally pickup. Maybe its just the stores near me then.

      • I got a CashRewards email roughly six hours after lunch. So it looks like mine is confirmed as tracking. As usual, if it doesn't track, just email CashRewards one week later to sort it out.

  • Got 4 pieces instead of 3, might buy a lotto ticket. Hasn't tracked yet unfortunately.

    Are you allowed to enter discount codes in voucher field or would that viod the cashback?

      If a gift card is purchased or used as payment.
      If a coupon code is used that is not listed on Cashrewards.
      If your order is not fully completed online or is later changed.

      there's no codes on CR so it'll probably void it

    Received no sms or email at all.

              • @toobzy: Just checked my credit card today and sure enough I’ve been double charged - both charges no longer pending.

                First charge was for that order I mentioned above where I received no sms or email and they had no record of the order when I got to the store.

                2nd charge was the second order I did when I was at the store - this time received sms and email and order went through.

                Looks like I’ll have to do a chargeback.

        Edit : Yup, got to the store and they didn't have the 2nd order, have to file a dispute. Same thing happened last time, so annoying.

          This has nothing to do with Cashrewards.

          You should still receive your order if you’ve paid regardless if you’ve gone through CR or not.

        • Did u pay directly with cards? I kept getting error paying with 2-3 different cards, but it didn’t go through though. Seems their website has issue with card payment so ended up using paypal

          • @hanofee: I paid using Zip by generating the single-use card for both transactions.

            Both charges are appearing in my Zip transaction list now - both no longer pending.

            Never tried disputing/charging back via Zip before.

            On the bright side my CR has tracked (for the 2nd order that went through).

            If I can’t get my money back - it would be like not receiving a free lunch since I paid twice.

            Red Rooster receives 2 payments but fulfilled only 1 order. Thieves!

            @hanofee: PayPal, both times PayPal. Funny thing I realised is that for RR and pizza hut, it's always the orders that are over the $10 cap that has issues 😂

            I did a PayPal dispute and they refunded me in like an hour though.

    I still can't get the menu to show on the webpage of over 10 stores with pickup selected, so never had RR before and guess I'll be able to say the same in the future.

    • I had this issue with the CR app on iOS. Logging in to CR through Safari and ordering that way showed the menu for me. Also, my tracking took MUCH longer than usual. 2.5 hours instead of the usual 20 mins or so.

      • I've already written this off and started drinking from a previous alcohol cashback so all good, if I never try RR, I'll wear that as a badge of honour.

  • I cleared my cache and browser history and that fixed it - for those where menu doesn't come up after selecting pickup store

    But only does delivery through the website. Website ordering for pick up doesn't exist.

    while I was enjoying the free red rooster I saw this dude walk in with a switch oled in his left hand, a seiko automatic on his wrist and a 55" OLED in his right hand. I yelled "OZBARGAINER!?" he nodded yes as he showed me the cashrewards app on his phone.

  • I’ve never tried this before so i’m looking for some step by step instructions, i’m currently signed into CR via website and it’s taken me to be RRwebsite, do i need to be signed into my RR account for the cashback to track and work or can i make an order without being signed into my RRaccount ie as a guest and can the order be pickup? Also does the RedRooster order need to be $10 or more for the 100%CashBack to be worth it?

      So, it doesn't matter if you log into your RR account or not. Picking up the order is fine. Now if the order is less than $10 that's fine, but if it's over that fine also, you'll only get $10 back. But if you make it as close to the $10 as possible without going over then it's free technically!

    Activated CR when ordering, confirmed 100% cashback is in play. Click through SMS on arrival, picked up and enjoyed.

    Cashback has not tracked yet. But fried chicken was nice, got a couple of large breast pieces, almost boneless. Hope they can maintain the quality, not just today.

  • Last 100% RR deal I picked up dinner at 6pm and tracking came through at some point during the night. Mine hasn’t tracked yet but thinking the same will happen this time.

    Well I wont be back at RR, deal or not. Absolute worst service I've ever experienced there this afternoon. Even lodged a complaint, something I never do.
    edit: oh and look, they only tracked the standard instore rate to top it off. On top of charging me twice. Rediculous.

      I did the same, sent the feedback, wouldn't go even 100% uncapped.
