does it compatible with Smart Life app?

    • Don't know about this product but I just added two Lenovo bulbs to Smart Life with no issue.

    Wow….what a great price!
I bought the 10m strips for $50 each a while back and thought I had grabbed a great bargain!
Always better bargains to be had

Stock is a problem - pick up nah, delivery nah.
    NSW 2067.

    • +8

2067? That's a long time to wait for stock.

      I need mine before 2030.

      I'll pass.

      • -8

Nah - this is the postcode.

        • -1

you missed the joke lmao (didn't downvote you though)

  • +1

Thanks. Bought from Amazon instead so I don't have to pay for shipping.

    • +2

Do you have the link? Did you 10m version? Thanks

      • +3

Only the 2m and 5m were at the same price as The Good Guys. Unfortunately both sold out now.

  • Cheers, had $20 concierge credit and ordered delivery

  • Anybody know if this works with home assistant?

    • I would guess it's some version of Tuya so most likely.

    • +3

Have loaded into Tuya Smart app , got the local ID and installed in Tuya local.

I can turn it on and off but can’t control colour/brightness/temperature.

It appears that Value 24 actually controls all 3 attributes.

      There’s 12 digits: aaaa b ccc d eee

      aaaa is colour

      b -unsure

      ccc- temperature

      d – unsure

      eee brightness

Can't work out how to control the three variables in a single value

What are ppl using 10m of led strips for?

  • +2

Does anyone know how much the device draws when not on but connected to wifi? Want to hook it up to a 12v battery with solar for the kids cubby house.

    • It's led… in other words f**k all

      • What's led got to do with when it's not on?

  • +2

Bought a 2m and 5m Lenovo from Officeworks recently. 2m was RGB and 5m was RGBW which I thought was odd! Other than that, they have both been great.

    • I changed my order after seeing this. Thank you so much for mentioning it <3

      • How can you change your orders? I messed up

Edit: don't worry i got it.

        • How did you change? I emailed to cancel after seeing this. Even after I decided to pay shipping.

          • @trufflesthepenguin: I mean I sent a message saying to cancel my order and reordered the 5m. I got a notification this morn saying the 2m was being processed. I might end up with too many light strips.

          • @trufflesthepenguin: They ignored my message and shipped it the next day

      • What did you change your order to, what's better?

        • +1

Initially i ordered the 2m version but then switched to the 5m one since RGBW is so much better than regular RGB if you're using it as part of standard lighting (as opposed to just accent lighting)

  • Thank you bought 3 shipped.

  • Are there better options in light strips? Looking for some to put underneath the kitchen cabinets for a small amount of bench light. And some inside a display case

    • Check out ikea's range.

  • Anyone recommend good strips for outdoors? Undercover but still outdoors

    • +1

I believe these strips are weatherproof, just might need to find a way of protecting the power adapter

Are these ones that auto change colour with what’s on the tv screen ¿

  • it's kinda tacky

    • +14

      How else would they stick?

  • +4

These are good to use as bias lighting (dim light source placed behind a computer monitor, TV screen, or even around a projection screen in a home theater, that introduces a small amount of indirect light into the environment without directly shining it into the viewer’s eyes)

Time to overclock my microwave with these RGB strips.

  • +1

Can you plug these into a power bank with USB or do you need a power point

  • Do these have a physical button

  • Dumb question - can I buy two 5m cables and combine them into a single 10m strip (that runs off a single power source)?

    • +3

Yes you can buy connectors mate…

Or solder if your handy with a soldering iron but the connectors are easier…😉

      • +1

Cheers! Just found some L-shaped connectors

        • Hpw many pins?

          • +1

            @Budju: Comment from previous deal: These are 12v 6 pin (2m, 5m). The 10m one is 24v 6 pin.
