Solid photo position for 5.4” sizing reference

    • +1

Haha. No idea what you were talking about until I checked out the listing.

    • HOW DID THEY KNOW ITS 5.4"???

    • They should have made it little bigger

  • +5

My last three from Amazon (larger size) have been defective in sealing. No wonder they were $5.

And I have been using Avanti Go Cups for many, many years, so it wasn't operator error.

Pool quality. Peeling off after couple of month use.

    • +4

What does this cup has to do with your pool peeling off? :P

      • +1

        Hahaha…. Poor quality. Pardon me…

Where did “Was $26.95” come from? Highest it’s been was $23.95 over a year ago.
Edit- I see you're referring to the manufactures rrp.

    • it's funny that the other colours are $13, but the black is supposedly reduced from it's "$26.95 RRP"

Great at keeping coffee hot - but its double sealing lid is a bitch to clean. If you don't need something which will keep coffee hot for two hours, I'd go for something with a simpler lid.

    • What's difficult about cleaning the lid? I have a couple of these and find it very easy to clean the lid.

      • +4

Needing to disassemble the three part lid to clean the milk or stale coffee out isn't something I find myself wanting to do twice a day. Even when you do, if you have a cup of tea from the same cup you'll taste the coffee in it because you just can't get it really clean.

        • +2

Yep, I found this out the hard way when I took a sip one morning and out popped some hardened almond milk chunks from within the lid, because my partner hadn’t rinsed it out one day.

I went to a bigger double-sided cup without the fancy spring-loaded lid and couldn’t be happier.

        • Fair enough, each to their own I suppose.

          • @fattymattyd: It's like super easy to pop it open and pop it back together.

            • +3

@King Steuart: I'm not saying it's brain surgery, just annoying to have to do every time I use the cup. And if you don't need to keep coffee hot for hours, then there is no point to the extra steps. But if it adds something to your coffee drinking experience, then more power to you.

  • Is it microwavable? Is there a microwavable travel coffee cup?

    • Ceramic or glass is your best bet but it depends what you’re looking for. I found most of those types of cups don’t have a sealed (i.e screw) lid, meaning they’re fine for “upright” use but not in a bag or something not stable.

      @Nick K "Is it microwavable?"
"Made from high quality stainless steel" - you decide

    • +2

It is, but you'll need to buy a new microwave each time

  • Don't put in dishwasher, the soap taste was impossible to remove

  • I have 2 of these and find them really good. Use daily

  • +1

Doesn't keep coffee that hot for an extended period of time without preheating the insulation first from experience. I personally have had this exact coffee cup roll off my car roof one morning as I was leaving home and it's still functioning 2 months later. Cleaning the three part lid is abit of a pain in the ass. Especially the spring itself. Does seal quite well and can be put in a backpack but if you don't screw it on properly it will leak. Overall pretty good imo for the price.

  • What is double insulated wall

And can you put ice in it?

    • Double insulated means that it will keep it's temperature for longer.

You could put ice in it and it would take longer to melt.

      • +1

(S)He actually wanted to put ice in the insulated wall…….

        • The ozbargain way hahaha

        • Oh… I see… No, you couldn't do that.

  • This or Frank Green?

    • Frank Green are ceramic….about $45

    • I tested this vs frank green. They were within a degree of each other after testing at 3hrs and 6hrs. The lid on this and the frank green are both a bit of a process to clean.

  • Shipping in 4 weeks, sorry dispatching…

  • Mine arrived today. It rules and is way better than my other POS travel mug. Gave this bad boy a test drive and it is stone cold on the outside, lovely hot coffee on the inside.

I'll probs buy another one in a different colour.

  • The lead design is terrible, you have to remove the clip and detach it to wash it or else you will be drinking stinky coffee.
