You can only use it at Puma in store - online not accepted (according to the gift card website)

    • Where does it say that? "Spend in-store or online"

      • +1

Click on Puma - Instore only

Some of the others are both

        • +1

Yep I can see it. Thank you! :)

        • i should of checked that as nike, adidas and jd sport are all in store only

But but but my baby is really into JB Hi Fi.

    • Poor baby, you are excluded.

  • +12

The disappointment you get when you see a capital J then see JD Sports

  • +2

Thanks got a few for JB hi fi

      JD You’ve Done It Again!

  • I cannot order any one of Active and Baby with the discount, has the deal finish?

    • It’s still working on my end. Did you select the $100 each for Active and Baby?

      • +1

So sorry for the confusion, it's user error, I put in the $200 card instead of the one on sale$100, silly me…

  • Need to trade mine for JB hi-fi.

    Will ask at school

    • +2

      um…

      • +2

This is like a multi part series.

The Baby Gift Card came in clutch - expecting our first bub in October… let the indeterminate expenditure ensue!

    • +1

plan for 1.5 to 2.5k worth of equipment imo.

baby bunting has great markdowns at times, otherwise rrp is very expensive.

      • +1

Yep, unfortunately already bought a pram and a baby seat (with a slight discount - using AGL Rewards for 6% off TCN The Baby Gift cards, stacked with negotiated discount for the two items). Still need a bouncer and a co-sleeper… So these will come in handy.

    • +1

Haha when I saw this deal I remembered your FTP post!

You're bloody lucky mate, stock up!

      • Thanks mate, deal came in clutch! haha

    • Make sure you ask for price beat from Baby Bunting etc.

    • +1

Just had our first. Try avoid the new baby buying hype and grab stuff secondhand off FB marketplace for a fraction of the price. There are some things best bought new, but most is fine pre-loved

  • Gift cards have a 3 year expiry from the date of issue.

Clicking the thumbnail doesnt show Giant as a retailer. The OPs link in description is a different company and does show Giant. Which one is correct?

    • 2nd row, last one

    • For future reference, the OP got the list of participating retailers from this OzBargain wiki page, and the data on that page is sourced at least once a week directly from the various TCN gift card pages. (In your case, it is from the webpage for the Active gift card.)

This is used as the source of truth, because:

      • This webpage is maintained by the gift card issuer.
      • This is where you go if you want to exchange your TCN gift card for a digital gift card from a participating retailer (assuming the participating retailer allows this).
      • The packaging for the physical TCN Active gift cards tell you go to this webpage for the full (and updated) list of participating retailers.

It was included in OP’s table, as it allows OzBargainers to check the source of the data at any time if they wanted to. However, I can see how it can be very confusing to have this in the table when there is a sale happening at a website for more than one TCN gift card…

I would not trust the list of participating retailers you would see on any gift card packaging or on a third-party retailer’s website (e.g. giftcards.com.au), as participating retailers regularly change for the TCN gift card scheme, and only the TCN website allows TCN to quick update participating retailers as necessary.

(If you didn’t realise, I am the person who extracts the list of participating retailers for TCN gift cards, Ultimate gift cards and Choice gift card at least once a week and paste the data onto that OzBargain wiki page so that other people - including the OP for this deal - can use it in deals.)

H and m has 25% off when you do an online purchase as a new member. I haven't used it yet.

  • Can we purchase with vanilla visa?

    • nope.

  • Shows up without any discount…. Am I doing something wrong?

    • Only valid on $100 denominations

      • Yea $100 gift cards for baby

        • It still works on my end. The gift card has to be one $100 gift card and can't be a combined total with other variations

  • Would the New Balance credit you have, be able to be used on New Balance website?

  • For those having issues, make sure you click the link for giftcards.com.au to buy the card. The other link is for thecardnetwork.com.au which shows participating retailers but doesn't have any discounts.

    • +3

I’ve fixed that link to go to giftcards.com.au instead :)

  • Can I use multiple GC for transactions in Baby Bunting? Need to buy things for my baby on the way.

    • would be interested to know as well for a car seat…

      • +2

Called Baby Bunting. They say there's no limit

  • Keep getting the error "Something went wrong, please try again." after verifying payment 2FA, anyone has the same issue?

    • Yep, had the same issue using a CBA credit card. Called the 1300 number and CBA blocked the transaction. Called CBA fraud department to get it unblocked (flagged as a gift card scam). Called the 1300 number again and was told to wait 24 hours before attempting the transaction again, allowing for the block to be removed on their system. I was assured gift cards would be available until the end of the promotional period. Way more effort than that was worth!

    • I had this issue last time. This time payment wouldn't load on chrome on desktop. I used my phone browser with no issue. I previously called them for the uber deal

    • Tried chrome and edge and was receiving the same message. Contacted my bank and they said it wasnt being blocked on their side. After a while playing around i tried the samsung browser on my phone and it worked so it doesnt seem to be a bank issue (not in my case anyway).

  • Not a bad deal, need a few things from Baby Bunting..
Does anyone know if you can use an egift card instore @ Baby Bunting?

    • +1

website says valid for online as wel as instore for baby bunting https://thecardnetwork.com.au/pages/the-baby-card

    • Not only that you can use in-store
but you can also use multiple GC in one transactions
Just tell the store rep the amount you want to deduct in each GC and they will do it for you

The only real pain of TCN giftcard is checking balance requires filling those details like Name, email address and phone number, together with the GC number and pin

Bought 3xActive. Thanks OP for fueling my golf addiction.

  • Is the stacking of vouchers at baby bunting a given or could individual stores/salespeople reject it? We have a big pram purchase coming up and would be using 15~ of the $100 vouchers (10 limit but we’d each buy some)

    • +1

I rang my local store & they had no issues with how many were used - I am in a similar boat..
It sounds like it might be a little more pain-less if done online.

      • Yeah we are going to try and do online too. Hopefully the system doesn’t have a limit!

        • Don't forget price matching if you can find it somewhere else cheaper - you get 5% off. Ignore the fine print about "same day dispatch", they have always honoured online stores for me.

  • Shame about shoes not being able to be purchased online with the cards

  • I am getting 'something went wrong' error message while trying to make payment. Using google chrome browser on mobile. Tried a couple of different cards with different banks, same issue. Anyone knows how to get around this?

    • +1

Tried with CBA, NAB, Latitude… comments above suggest the banks are blocking the transactions (gift card scams). May need to call them up to assist.

      • +1

Tried chrome and edge and was receiving the same message. Contacted my bank and they said it wasnt being blocked on their side. After a while playing around i tried the samsung browser on my phone and it worked so it doesnt seem to be a bank issue (not in my case anyway).

        • Downloaded Samsung Browser, no luck for me.

Called their number and they did say they were having issues this morning which was resolved. Then confirmed with her supervisor they were having issues again…

Guess will just need to keep trying.

          • @LostyJai: Any luck? I'm stuck on the payment page and getting a spinning wheel…

            • @belmomoo: Make sure you temporarily disable any AdBlock and try in an incognito/private window.

Mine loads the payment section fine, just doesn't process the payment. Unfortunately they still have not resolved the issue yet.

          • @LostyJai: Still no luck, issue is with TCN or their payment gateway…

    • I tried to pay using Hiver debit card and got the error. Amex went through fine. I'm using Chrome browser.

  • Adore Beauty stocks Aesop, which you’d rarely get a 15% discount on. For those with refined skincare taste and deep pockets

    • But is it 15% more than other places?

      • No. Same price as Aesop/Myer/etc

  • Finally got one today after numerous attempts last night. I think they fixed the website!
