I just got a great deal for Summer:

  1. Buy 6 x bottles of Yellow Tail wine (any 750ml varieties) in one transaction from a participating venue1 and keep the receipt.
  2. Scan the deal on the bottle (small attached label) to take you to yellowtailcabana.com.au and submit your details and proof of purchase.
  3. The promo company will send you a code once they confirm your purchase details (took 2 days) and a link to the CoolCabana site.
  4. Submit the code at checkout and get your cabana for $50 delivered (instead of $249!)

Great reviews so I ordered 2 for Christmas (2 x separate purchases). Cheers!

    • Pretty much exactly the same as you (Dan Murphy's on the 5th) and I got the code yesterday afternoon.

      I would be pretty confident yours will go through but I agree about the T&C, they are a mess. Between updating them mid promotion and still having an error in them about what you are actually receiving.

    • Sent them an email asking for the voucher at the same time I posted here this morning, got the voucher now!

      Got 5 x Sauvignon Blanc (all they had in stock) and 1 x Chardonnay for $26.30 from Dan Murphy's after price matching First Choice Liquor with an extra $1 discount per bottle, so got 6 x 750ml bottles of wine and a cabana for $76.30, not bad! Thanks OP!

        You did well! I got a bunch of different wines but I think together they were still ~$47. Either way, not complaining as I have wanted a CoolCabana for a while and Yellow Tail is at least drinkable.

    Bought the bottles from BWS which had the offer sticker on the bottle. Submitted receipt on the 6th.

    Followed up the contact us email, nothing from that either

  • Still waiting! Bought from dan Murphy's with stickers on each bottle. Submitted on the 4th and still nothing!

  • Not sure on their system, I also bought from Dans with stickers on each bottle and claimed on the 3rd yet plenty of people have received with later dates. Sent an email and was advised to wait another 3 days before contacting them again.

    Just now, I received an email saying it was rejected due to 'Duplicate Receipt'.

    They said if you think we've made a mistake to respond to email and attach your purchase receipt. I've responded.

    I looked at the receipt and it does say that. I do remember that at the time of purchase, I wasn't given a receipt from BWS initially and it was only when I asked the guy behind the counter that it was printed out.

    Bloody darn annoying, but I'll wait and see.

      Did you scan everyday rewards?

      I sent my receipt in via the everyday rewards app as it displays your purchases and has PDF receipts.

      • Yes, I did with my wife's employee (Big W) Rewards card.

        I don't know why I didn't do the PDF receipt in the first place and also email that just before.

        I should've have just waited for my wife to finish work and get the pdf copy as she ain't too tech savvy.

      • Same reason for being rejected. Thanks for this info, didn't know everyday rewards app had receipts! Emailed them the PDF receipts and hoping for a good outcome :D

    • ah crap - my situation entirely. The Dan's checkout person didnt hand over the receipt, altho i did specifically request it .. and had to re-print. So the one i submitted last Fir 4/11 also says "duplicate'.
      I have a record of the purchase on my Dan's web account, but the "print order" result is pretty sparse. The order # on that web order does not show on the paper receipt i sent in…
      Hmm.

        Almost every time I go to BWS or DM, the staff ask if I would like a receipt.

        • yay i just got my voucher and ordered for $50
          bought 6x bubbles at Dan murphy's Kotara (Newcastle, NSW) on evening of Fri 4/11.
          All bottles had the sticker, and seems my "duplicate receipt" was not an issue for them in the long run… relieved!
          Looking fwd to getting it :)

    • Yesterday morning, they emailed to advise my entry was approved and I received the code almost 24 hours later.

      Also, I happen to go BWS to buy something else and when I asked for a receipt, I noticed it showed duplicate again. The guy at the counter told me I have eReceipts set up which I forgot about and that's why it shows duplicate on the receipt when printed out.

    There's no logic in their madness; receipt submitted from BWS click and collect early on 4/11 and not a peep.

    Submitted yesterday, got my voucher today.

    Went to BWS -
    Grabbed a yellow tail bubbles box - 750ml 6 @ $10 each
    - a BWS 3 for 24 wine deal ended up taking $12 off. So $48.
    Peeled off the yellow sticker and underlying barcode from the bottle and stuck on to my receipt and emailed them.

    $37.50 for the wine of which will be a Kris kringle present, purchased from Dan's online

    Did click & collect @ Dan's.
    Received code few days later, ordered the cabana then cancelled the order…
    Easy peasy :)

            Choose click and collect and choose a day to collect…
            Send screen shot of invoice.
            Wait for the code.
            Order the cabana.
            Go on Dan's online chat and cancel order.
            I believe if you don't collect after 7 days they will cancel the order automatically.l

              @Syco: Why would you do that? It's already a good deal, because of people like you who cheat the system the rest of us miss out & companies restrict themselves from having good promotions in the future.

    Has anyone received their cabana or know if it has yellow tail branding on it? The sticker on the bottles has a picture of the cabana and storage bag with yellow tail branding.

    If anyone who submitted a claim and have not received an email with a voucher from the 3rd,4th and 5th November will need to call up and they will send it to you. All vouchers should have been sent (check your junk mail) Contact 02 9357 6477 and they resend while on the phone.

      • Received my Cabana yday! So took a full 2 weeks from uploading the receipt. Very happy though, as I got 6 bottles of sav Blanc for only $28.20 (click & collect).

      I've just tried this number and no response apart from "…person is being located…". Then in a few minutes I got a call from a random mobile number claiming that I tried to call them twice. They said that they didn't know about the Yellow Tail promo. Strange.

      • Today morning I used the "contact us" form on the promo page. Not sure if it helped or they resolved the issue for all of us in bulk, but I got an email with my promo code around 12 PM.

    • Thanks mate, phone number worked a treat! Called them and was advised First Choice wasn't a valid retailer. I submitted a request Thu 3 Nov 22:30 and was supposed to receive an email accordingly but unfortunately nothing came through, apparently due to technical issues. She suggested they would be happy to honour the promotion if I submitted a new receipt from a valid retailer ie not from the Coles group. Bought another box from Dan's, and sent it to '[email protected]' explaining the above.

      Received this and a subsequent code within the hour:

  • Made a click and collect order this morning, submitted the invoice once it was "ready for collection" and then almost instantly got the voucher and ordered the cabana.
    Stoked. PS: we are going to actually collect and drink the wine lol

    Submitted 03/11/23 at 844pm just received code today 14/11/22 at 1119am ordered instantly waiting for shipment confirm $50 including postage for large coolcabana in yellow

    My code just came through, 3rd November order from First Choice. Was expecting to have to return and refund but maybe got lucky

    • Also had an order from First Choice, submitted on the 3rd. I called them and they refused to honor it. So you got lucky.

  • Looks like I should grab some tent pegs and a mallet to use this not on the beach - I also see that there is a shorter spike for the grass. Wonder if I can manage without

        A shorter spike - so you don't have to drive it in as far as you do with sand (which might be difficult). Not sure if it's worth the $25.

        Then go to live chat with DM and cancel the order :-)
