mycar at Brandon Park, Vic have confirmed the annual Black Friday deal is returning this Friday 25 November 2022. (Update: mycar Brandon Park removed the deal page.)

On Friday 25 November 2022 book (a) online or by telephone with mycar between 12.01am AEDT and 11.59pm AEDT or (b) in store with mycar between 8.00am AEDT and 5.30pm AEDT for the purchase and fitment of any in stock Pirelli tyres and receive a discount of 50% off the recommended retail price of those tyres (Offer Tyres).

Offer Tyres must be booked to be fitted on a date between Monday 5 December and Saturday 17 December 2022 or between Wednesday 4 January and Tuesday 31 January 2023. If Offer Tyres are fitted outside of these fitment periods, the full cost of all the tyres in the transaction will be payable.

    Yes, web site stuffed up for me and showed multiple tyres all with the same title, but different prices. Nothing in their details to work out if it was the one I want. Going to the shop 25km away.

    Prices definitely looked like 50% off RRP. Good, but not fantastic.

    Told them there website had numerous errors. guy was more than happy to do the deal in store in person.

    Said can also pay on installation (Next Thursday), so can stack with using the amex $100 promo as well.

    as long as the booking doesnt randomly dissapear. it seems like a good option to go into store rather than the website.

    Got to see their stock on their computer system.
    (Gold coast store, stock coming from brisbane warehouse).

      The only thing I am worried about is if they will honour the half price on the payment day. Since some people here reported they were asked to pay today only to get the discount. Did the staff give you a written confirmation of the total price for the payment next Thursday?

        i got confirmation email of the booking yes.

          Just booked in the store. Easy and straightforward. But they didn't ask for my email address and no written confirmation of the price. However, the dude was super friendly and pretty confident that I will only have to pay half the price on the fitment day, so hopefully can double dip.

    After 1 hour and 45 minutes on hold I was able to get through to someone and placed an order over the phone.

    PIRELLI SCORPION VERDE 99V. I managed to get onto the website (again!) at the same time but can't add them to the cart, getting an error.

    Try the phone everyone - average wait time seems to be 2 hours.

    Hi All, I called my local Jax tyres. He is happy to price match the tyres but he isn't sure if the price mycar is offering includes fitting and everything. Can someone please confirm who matched with Jax if their price includes fitting as well? I am waiting for my local Jax to call back. Also does anyone know which tyre is better between P Zero and Scorpio Zero for normal city commute and highway long drives? Thank you

        I just went to a Jax store and showed them the screenshots but they said they need to see it first hand so they need to join the queue like everyone else. if they are with a customer there's a good chance they will miss their spot when it finally comes up. I walked away empty handed so it's back to the queue myself for attempt number 4. Midnight, 3 am, 6 am plus now

    Finally got through the queue, error adding any pirelli to cart. Shows in stock. Other brands work.

    Called Jax, happy to price match, had stock available, getting fitted on Wednesday. Much better experience.

    Called Bob Jane in Melbourne this morning after sending screenshots and said they would beat the price of the Scorpion Verde All Season 225/55R18 at $147 per tyre (advertised on MyCar for $157). Said they were in stock today and could get them fitted this morning.

    Drove there only to be told that "Head Office" have told them they could not match the price under their Price Beat Guarantee.

    Furious. Suggest Bob Jane check their own T&Cs and maybe even Australian Consumer Law. Interested to hear if anyone else has had the same experience today.

          I got a price quote sent via email as well, but I realised the price quote states that tyre quotes is valid for the next 7days only, whereas my tyre fitting date is 3 weeks away. Not sure if it will be an issue?

        Dunlop sports, but not bothered. Spent all night on the mycar site being in endless ques and hours waiting on the phone and even went in personally to be told I can't get it. This took like 2mins on the Bob jane site . It was such a relief.
