it has volume control in the menu but no sound for some reason
It has volume control for the 3.5mm headphone out jack.
I use it for a Kmart computer soundbar.

When i ordered my two monitors in August it had a delivery date of over 1 month. I ended up getting the monitors delivered within a week. Dells ETA is bad but it could be a way to avoid ebay buyers complaining if their product is late.
Hope so, was hoping I could us it during the xmas break.

Hey guys I had Dell 32 Monitor - S3221QS for a while is this an upgrade? I assume the monitor I had was good for movies but not so much gaming because of refresh rate. IPS has better viewing angles but not so good on blacks. General purpose which is better??
I paid like $570 or so is this a good deal?
I don't have equipment that can do 144hz anyway. Only a PS4 pro, Switch and laptop running 1650GTX 4gb ddr
Hence I got the 60hz, but if I get a new desktop like GTX 3080 GPU then with Ryzen CPU then I suppose this is the monitor to go for???
Yes this monitor is better in every way apart from blacks but i have a VA 1440p 144hz Panel and i would take this one over that any day… also .. This 32" Dells RRP is over $900 when its not on sale

Both my 32" Dells and Viewsonic 32" Monitors are not widescreen. The two Dells put side by side they are the same size as having a 48" Widescreen PC Monitor on your desk. They offer lots of screen for the money

I have the dell S2721DGF and it appears basically identical (165hz, IPS, 400nits brightness) except two things - 27" vs 32", and USB C.
I also still have 3 years of my warranty left, would this possibly be a good upgrade? An extra 5 inches is always appreciated I'm told.
Definitely keen to continue using 165hz refresh rate @ 1440p, it's a great point for most GPUs to chug along above 144hz without being on Ultra graphics.

I bought 2 days ago and just received a StarTrack tracking number.
I bought on 13.12. No shipment information yet.
Estimated delivery is 19.12
Due to being the impatient person I am, I sent them a message on EBAY and this was their response:
We don't have a specific ETA yet but we have already sent your order to our Head Office for processing and you shall most likely receive your booking information within the week or next week at the latest. Once your booking information is available, you will be able to monitor your order's progress on the website and will be able to see more specific timeframes and ETA of your order. When your order is already onboard for delivery, we will upload the courier consignment number on eBay to give you a more accurate time of arrival.
Generally, our monitors are processed and fulfilled within 7-15 working days. The delivery period we have set on eBay is due to the volume of orders we have during this period. We are also taking into account the possible delays in the delivery from our warehouse and courier side. We do not offer express/expedited shipping but we will work hard in getting the item to you as soon as possible.So I bought on 13/12, got a tracking SMS from Dell and delivery via StarTrack.
It was just delivered to Surry Hills NSW 16/12 10.30am. The box is much bigger than I expected!
Status on my eBay page never updated and it still shows as paid but not sent.
Ordered mine on Tuesday lunchtime. Just delivered to the Gold Coast at about 9:45am. Comes in a decent sized box too

Ordered on Tuesday, and the monitor just got delivered to Olympic park. Ebay status is "sent" and estimated delivery date is Mon 23th Jan. Wonder how the estimated delivery time can be so inaccurate.
Got another update from eBay just now saying the package has been delivered.

The ETA from eBay is not accurate
While this is a great deal offered by Dell and eBay and I’ve received my monitor, there is zero communication on the Dell eBay customer support to ask for a tracking number as the delivery guy just randomly showed up at 6.30am.
Negging this deal as I wasn’t pleased with how Dell handled the situation post eBay sale. Just a simple upload of either a tracking or consignment number would help me to let my mates know that a monitor was arriving
I got an SMS the night before with a StarTrack tracking number.
But yes the eBay site itself gave no updates until after the monitor was delivered.
I did not receive any SMS since Dell orders in Canberra are mostly handled by DB Schenker Couriers
My mate who accepted the delivery on behalf of me was quite pissed that the delivery came at 6:30am since I could not notify him any earlier
My delivery says January 25th on the ebay tracking number with "In Transit" as the tick box which is next "Out for Delivery"
Although today i had a delivery guy arrive but i wasnt home to accept, So it could well be the monitor 30 days earlier than ETA./Edit - I put the tracking number into the Startrack website and it shows attempted delivery.
So yeah, seems like ebay is not deciphering at all what Star track is showingNot Dells fault at all.

Anyone received the package/box unsealed?
Got a faulty product and have to contact Dell for a replacement. Basically the front panel and back panel is not glued well on the left side, and there is a big gap between the two panels. Not sure when I will get my replacement though.
Got the replacement and found it is also a faulty product! What are the odds! Will request for another replacement next week…
Issuing a return. Macs don't work with this monitor at all. I had hoped they included a usb c that was decent enough to push at least 60hz on a retina 2x mode (HiDpi) but naah. We have to fallback to 720p to get it working with HiDpi mode just because the usb c on this monitor is running 2.0 speeds.
Edit: When i say they don't work, I mean on HiDpi mode at decent resolutions.Got this and it was completely faulty. Screen would not turn on at all. Such a shame.
Also mine has a manufacturing date of Jan 2022. Don’t know if that’s normal? Do they stockpile these maybe?

Thanks OP. Bought one for $423.20. I was planning to replace the Dell 27'' QHD monitor (S2721DS) which I had bought during 2020 Thanksgiving sale and this seemed to be a decent upgrade.
Strange that this model is listed in Dell USA website but is missing in Dell Australia. Any reason?
