27/12/22 6:49pm: Aussie Choc Malt is currently on backorder. We are still accepting orders with this flavour, but this order may be delayed by up to a week as we need to manufacture more stock. Orders will begin being packed tomorrow when our team returns from the public holidays.

28/12/22 8.44am: Our team has started at 7am today to pack off the orders from over the long weekend. Due to the volume of orders being shipped off, there may be a slight delay in receiving your dispatch notification email. For any orders placed before today, we estimate that most will ship today, but some may ship Thursday or Friday this week. I'll keep everyone updated with our progress here.

    If anyone is considering this protein, the choc banana is by far the best tasting protein I've had.

          We would be happy to, but for the choc banana it may be more than a month. I know we are waiting on some big flavour orders but they can take a while to arrive. I'm not 100% sure on the date, so I don't want to leave you disappointed if it takes longer.

    Jay, last deal I got some protein, it really smelled bad - like the sunflower lecithin had gone rancid and the whole powder smelled like rancid sunflower oil. Your team happily got them replaced - thanks for resolving that quickly. That was awesome.

    The replacement i got is good, but the texture of the protein looks so much different to what I am used to. Its very whitish and fine and it really struggles to mix without a shaker compared to other local brand protein I have (all unflavored). Is it possible to increase the Lecithin content in the powder if that helps? Thanks!

      Thanks for the message John Doh. Yes we did have one batch impacted by exactly what you described. We believe it was impacted by heat. I'm glad the team resolved that quickly for you.

      In terms of the lecithin content, this is actually added at the point of manufacture. It's not actually blended in, but undergoes a process in order to "instantise" the product. Would you mind letting me know what batch number it is? We can do some testing on our end to see if we can further improve this. If not, we can reach out to the producer and see what can be done here.

        Batch is 22101403. The other brand I said mixes better uses soy lecithin, so its not really apples to apples comparision, but if it can be improved without affecting the protein, its always good. At the end, as a consumer what matters is the source and quality of the Whey used than anything else :) If you guys are using the right source (which I trust you are), then everything else can be put behind. Cheers.

              @Sval: I opened all the packets and zipped them back. They are already exposed to air in the factory and we opening it for a minute wont steal anything from the expirty date - make sure there is no air leak and store them in a cool dry place. They only go bad if you keep them open and exposed to air all the time. These have 2 years expiry and I dont think we would use them that long. For me another 5 months at best I would need more.

              @Sval: Oh that should be fine.

              We had a batch which we determined was exposed to high temperatures where we had some stock stored at another warehouse. We isolated this stock from our system and replaced any customers whose orders were affected as soon as we found out.

              The root cause was due to heat damage. We're talking temperatures generally 60 degrees and above (some warehouses can get very, very hot, especially at heights). Opening the product and leaving it will be absolutely fine at ambient temperature and will be fine for at least until the best before date.

              Also yes, if there is ever an issue just reach out to us. We'll take care of you.

          @John Doh, I've just received an update from our team to confirm that we have actually changed the protein we are using. This batch was manufactured using a European protein that we no longer use. We procured this when we couldn't get our hands on anything else, but it isn't our ideal raw material. New batches should use a better protein and mixes much better.

          If you try the new protein and aren't happy, please just let us know and we'll look after you.

    Does anyone have any experience with their vegan protein powders? For instance, Bondi Protein Co Vegan Vanilla 1kg currently on sale at Chemist Warehouse for $27 and INC Plant Protein Vanilla 1kg for $24. Not sure if the Amino Z offering is worth $43.71/kg

    Hi, Do you have or plan to release any pre-workout with Creatine in it? Just noticed none of yours have any. Is there a specific reason for this?

      We have formulated this specifically without creatine based on many requests for a pre workout without creatine as many people supplement with creatine separately.

      But this isn't completely out the question. We did just release a new "Beginners Pre" which has a lower dosage and no beta alanine too. I'll pass this along to the team to consider an option with creatine.

        Thanks. I like the convenience of not having to measure out too many supplements, so for me it works if its all in one.

      Creatine doesn't belong in pre-workout because it doesn't matter what time of the day you take it, and you have to take it every day as well for it to be effective.

          Unless you work out every day, then creatine is pointless in a preworkout.

      Got it to work now, wouldn't let me manually apply coupon code before, kept saying one was already in place and that they didn't stack. Price now $149.99 so will be ordering.
