Spewing! already checked out on the rotary tool! Great deal.

      Cant have shit in Detroit

  • +2

Thanks. Unfortunately, shipping is twice the price of the lead for me. Not bad if you're going to the store anyway.

Looking for a decent deal on a couple of 25m or 30m 10a leads, something less than $1 p/m would be ideal.

  • +2

    Thanks OP, picked up 2

  • I got two of these last time they were posted. I'm sure it was free delivery and around $5.50 combined. Use both of them. One is dedicated to behind the tv cabinet in living and one in the linen. Perfect reach on-top of bagged vacuum cord which is 10m.

ya postage makes it not worth it…

    • -2

5m is a bit of a useless length as well

I live in a shipping container so it's perfect for me

        • +1

Can confirm. I was at the housewarming container-warming

  • Damn just put the order through for the rotary tool then saw this

  • anyone else having trouble checking out?

    • Yeah, a poor website and also that poor person from the support that's going to scramble to fix it once they realise.

I just ordered two of these cables for click and collect and it went through as 'delivery'. So order of $6 and delivery charge of $9.
To say I'm p1ssed off would be an understatement. Luckily the store said I would get a refund for the delivery charge when I came in to collect it but still what a pain.

      TLDR: crap website.

    • disabling ublock on the site fixed it for me.

Whats heavy duty about a 10 amp cord? That's the standard extension cord and power outlet rating….

    • +8

I would assume the heavy duty means thicker plastic around the conductors for use in e.g. workshop/factory areas. However since this is just a cheapo brand and as far as I know there is no agreed on definition of heavy duty, it is probably purely just marketing speak.

Well, exactly on the same date last year, I've ordered the 10m and 5m extension leads with free delivery from Total Tools, despite they still had stocks on a higher price, they didn't send me anything and cancelled the order a month later.

    Don't bother with them.

    • +3

Sounds like they're … Total tools to deal with? Lol

    • Yes they are Total Jerks.

Last year I ordered pair of 5m for collection. My lad comes home with them on his motorcycle saying it's heavier than I said it would be. They gave us two 15m
    .

    • lol, i am assuming their lackage of 5m and providing 15m instead of it

      • +2

Sounds like me. In the department where I lack I try to make up for it in other ways.

  • Let's see how we go. Ordered 5 for pick-up from my local. Cheaper than a 25m one.

    • 25m is $10 on special.

      • +1

        Link?

        • +2

Sorry, should have clarified: 25m is $10 when on special

      • Where? It’s showing $25 for 25m

        • Sorry, should have clarified: 25m is $10 when on special

          • @ihbh: they go on sale often, I need one?

  • 1mm core?

    • That's what the description says.

  • +1

These are great quality much better than bunnings crap that breaks and no power comes thru after a few years

    • +3

What? Can you actually see the electrons stuck in the cable? Have you tried jiggling it to free the kink so that the power comes through again?

Really? 2500 clicks… It's a popular Deal - posted 4 hours ago. Not surprising some stores have no stock left.

Only stock showing is closer to Brisbane (around Caboolture). Plenty of stores with stock showing here in Brissie.

          So not "all oos"

I ordered five of these and 4 rotary tool kits. Chose delivery. I am on the northside of Brisbane and it looks like they are coming from Wilsonton in Toowoomba.

  • +1

Why do people complain about it's website design?
It's not the best of course, but it's also similar to Chemist Wearhouse's
I ordered 2 leads for C&C without a single issue.

  • I wish it came with the "roll style" (not sure what it's call, but the one that allows you to reel it in and out easily) so that it's more "compact" to store

  • 4 leads are $11.80 and delivery $61.74 yeah nah.

  • +1

    Thanks op. Got two.

  • +1

    Thanks OP.
Got a few other things too.

  • out of stock in local shops

  • +1

Thanks OP. I picked up 4 of these at my local.

  • It defaults to delivery, and between changing shops to find stock I forgot to opt for Click and Collect 🤦

So its almost 20$ extra for my four cords. F%#k I wish I could quit OzBargain
