Good price on the Pulse - shame the 2000 isn't discounted :(

    • Yeah that's the one I've been eyeing off too. Ah well.

    Genesis 2 an excellent BBQ

    • This! Bought the E-315 during the Black Friday sales and its honestly the best bbq I've ever owned.

Has been cheaper https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/741488 but an excellent bbq nonetheless.

      • Wondering if you have any reason why you'd prefer this over the Weber Q series?

I also previously had a weber q and now have Genesis 2 - soo much better (should be for the price)! Gets a lot hotter and does it quicker! Also, I find it easier to get to and stay at different temps if needed. The sear zone gets soooo hot!!!! I got the rotisserie kit for xmas but havent used yet!

I echo what xbomber has said but will add a few more items:
          * The resting/warming rack on the bbq is a handy feature I use quite often.
          * While we're not a big family we do cook up food for a few days and I wanted a bigger surface area to be able to cook at one time rather than having to cook sequentially.
          * At the time of purchase the Genesis II was only a few hundred dollars more than the Family Q so seemed a no brainer.
          * Free BBQ cover and iGrill was the icing on the cake to pull the trigger

    • Agree! I also got the E-315 a month ago! Excellent BBQ.

Im no BBQ professional person but is there really a difference in the $1.5k range Webber BBQS vs Bunnings Jumbuck?

    • Quality of build, warranty, heat distibution the list goes on. My BBQ journey started with with my 1995 57cm weber kettle I found in my local kerbside collection and now have added a baby Q for quick camping cookups. Next will be a genesis for at home cooking when I can't be bothered to get the charcoal going or doing low n slow cooks.

      Size.

I've not seen any Weber big enough to feed my family - I'd rather have everything cooked & hot at the same time than cook six batches of snags, steak, vegies etc

      • You need a summit ;)
Keep your eyes open and used ones pop up every now and then

        • gulp Entry price on a summit is $4.9k!!
Webber really seems like the Apple of the BBQ World, Great product but whats wrong with that old Toshiba.

          • @JPNx: yeh its top of the line
thats why you keep an eye out for a used one

I bought my genesis which has the sear burner which they dont have anymore was a few years old but paid half the new price

Weber Pulse 1000 is now $351 on their eBay store, seems like they have stuffed up and applied a further 27% on top of the current 27% discount in the cart / checkout.. Get in quick if you want one :)

Excellent pick up. Don't forget to use 2.5% cashback on Shopback eBay GC (unless you're able to get those Woolworths TCN GC for 10% woolies credit, which I couldn't as there were only mislabelled Teen ones at mine), and possibly a teeny tiny bit of cashback from Shopback themselves.

      • The cover and trivet arrived today by Toll, and I have a separate tracking code issued for the bbq I assume… so seems they will end up honouring this $351 purchase. :O

  • Thanks got the Pulse

  • Cannot get the e-315 anywhere it seems. Does anyone know of any retailers that still have stock?
