Just use a google tv/fire stick?

As long as the "smart" TV does not get slow boot and "please wait" (for OS to load) just to perform fundamental functions like switching inputs quickly similar to other smart TV OSes

        Slower than dumb TVs!

    • It's working fine. Only reason I'm using the Chromecast is because of the NBA app that Microsoft broke.

AU model is different to US. Beware of overseas reviews.

      was about to comment this^

+difference: Anecdotes appear to indicate Hisense Australian models for the last couple generations are inferior to the US models

Hard when specific models miss out on equivalent comprehensive reviews

At least the trailing letters of the model name code differ vs other hardware rampant component bait and switching

It’s what turned me away from buying a Hisense, left a bad taste to be honest. DYOR of course but I don’t like this tactic.

Wish Rtings had our Australian models U8HAU, U9HAU, TCL C835 for accessible direct comparison

Noting like rush of impulse buys

    • The savvy OzBargainers would already search the existing TV bundle deals from the onset of the other models / new sale code posted if looking for popular well-reviewed models

JB Hi-Fi website made it accessible on displaying the bundle and filterable categories

Otherwise alternatively instant impulse buy! The loop of OzBargainer post - OzBargainer click buy (followed by OzBargainer post unpublish, within minutes, in some cases…)
