  • Does the Gigabyte B560M AORUS PRO have on board Wifi?
If not, would an upgrade with that being the only change be available?

    • Hi there,

This motherboard doesn't come with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

We do have upgrades in the builder to include a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth card.

  • +1

So tempted to pull trigger this time. Been in my cart since morning, wondering if any better deals would pop up.

    • I am 100% certain that better deals will "pop up" in near and far future, yes.

On a more serious note, if the specs are enough for whatever you're planning to do this would be hard to pass at price point. This build has actually comparable components, rather then dead bottom products offered by other budget retailers on here.

  • Any upgrades worth getting?

    • +1

Id go mesh front case, and better cooler (easy to supply and fit your own though).
The latter especially important if you want to unlock the full performance of the CPU

      • Just buy the thermal right cooler that was posted the other day. Thing is a beast.

  • Is the graphics card brandnew? Can you provide the original packaging? I would like to sell the card and keep the rest.

    • You would probably pay for additional postage as it would be a seperate box

  • Is it worth upgrading to the i7 8 core? I’ll be doing a bit of video editing/processing with Adobe Premiere, Handbrake and VideoProc. Some spreadsheet work here and there, as well as remoting in to virtual desktops. Wondering if I need those extra 2 cores.

Also, is the thermal paste worth getting? Or should I just get the cooler and no paste?

Price point is pretty good for me as it is so I’m not too keen to do the upgrade. And Enigma aren’t too far away for me so I’d go for a pickup.

    • +2

The i7 will help with improving performance. Whether you need it or not will be up to you and what kind of performance you are looking to get out of your PC. Will the i5 perform the tasks adequately, yes. Will the i7 upgrade handle background tasks better whilst you work in the foreground? Yes

Thermal paste is a different ball game. We do see a temperature difference in our stock and premium thermal compound (couple degrees depending on CPU) and a larger difference in our thermal grizzly thermal paste (5-10 degree difference)

Were this really shines is the liquid metal. We have done a few liquid metal builds using the 11400F with the Gammax cooler. CPU temperatures are usually sub 40 degrees at maximum tilt on a benchmark (normal temperature on a stock cooler is 70-80 degrees). on sustained stress test they typically top out at 45 degrees max whilst the stock cooler with stock thermal paste usually thermal throttles a little bit on a longer sustained CPU stress test, which is expected.

      • +1

I can confirm liquid metal conductonaut has improved my CPU temps so much that It no longer throttles .. can't believe the difference thermal paste does

      • Thanks for the insight….lol you just made my decision harder.
Every time I start modifying, it just makes me want to go all out and then the price gets a bit much.
Trying to figure out if I should just jump on the deal stock, or modify with just the cooler and liquid metal, or just wait for another deal. I kind of want an 8-core, but without the price tag lol.

FYI Gigabyte B560M AORUS PRO is one of the better motherboard .it get more fps in game compare to other cheaper b560 motherboards

    • nice insight on youtube.

  • do you have a PSU upgrade with PCIE5.0 ATX 16pin power for 4xxx series GPUs?

    • +1

Not right now as they are super expensive. The adapters usually come with the GPUs.

      • damn you snooze you loose, out of stock

  • Is there any chance you're planning to do an ITX build any time soon?

    • Sadly we aren't. We didn't get great traction on the ITX build we posted before. We can do custom stuff but not at these OzB price points.

      • That's a shame but thanks for the reply.

  • out of stock, shouldnt have procrastinated

    • In a couple of weeks :)

  • Page is broken?

    • Out of stock sorry!

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for the support on this deal!

We are sold out, but we are working with suppliers to get some more stock in. This deal will be back in a week or two, keep your eyes peeled!

    • Can you do some Ryzen 8-core deals please? Preferably with an MSI Tomahawk motherboard and built-in WIFI.

  • Are you able to bring out deals like - a current gen CPU would be nice:
    BPC Tech; or
    Techfast

  • Thanks finally jumped on one of these deals since I missed first one, went with you guys cos the others seem to be about a months waiting time. Good to see more competition especially from Sydney

Has anyone got their order yet, or perhaps an update?

    • +2

I ordered on 8th March and received the order confirmation but since then no update

    • +2

Ordered 8th of March as well and haven't had any updates on when the PC will be dispatched or shipped.

    • ordered 8th of March for pickup. No communication so far.

      • +1

That's so disappointing. I also told them in a previous deal that they did a dodgy practice. Now they aren't reaching out to their customers when they promise a 3-5 day dispatch. Really uncool. That's twice in such a short period.

    • +1

I received an update that my build was complete and "We are currently preparing these items for shipping." That was 7 days ago *sighs

    • Just got an email that my order has been dispatched. Looking forward to the PC!

      • Same here, good stuff :)

  • Ahh I guess my March 9 order might be a while ?

  • +3

I ave them a call and they said there was a bit of delay and they will try to have them out by Sunday

  • +5

    Hey everyone,

We wanted to give you all a heads up that we are experiencing some delays in getting orders processed and shipped out. Unfortunately, one of our team members is dealing with a family emergency, which has made it tough for us to keep up with the usual pace of things. We're really sorry about any inconvenience this may cause, but we want to assure you that we're doing everything we can to get caught up. We're working hard to get all outstanding orders shipped out by this Sunday, so you should be receiving your stuff soon.We really appreciate your patience and understanding during this tough time. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to let us know and we'll do our best to help you out.

    Thanks for your support.

  • Dies anyone know if this has built in Wifi? I’m seeing mixed results on wifi on that board. Maybe there’s a wifi version?

    • Someone asked earlier above, they responded saying this motherboard doesn't have on board wifi
