Considering the price of a 4070Ti alone this is a great deal, card prices must be wildly inflated for these to still be viable to sell.

    • +13

Not sure how tech fast does it. But I am writing this using a techfast computer. Very happy with it.

  • +18

I’d like to buy this computer but I don’t have the money. Could you please give me one for free?

    • +11

you would have trouble riding your push bike home with the computer on your handle bars

      • +30

        I have a basket

        • Put that case in that basket but don't become a basket case!

  • Great deal. Which brands/models of 4070ti are in use?

    • +1

Inno3D X3 GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 12 GB Video Card, based on the pcpartpicker table from Luke in first comment.

      • +1

In another comment Luke said it won't necessarily be the Inno3D model and will vary. If I had to guess it's probably a toss up between Inno3D, PNY and Galax.

  • +2

Hi Luke, Amazing deal for the price, Is there any chance of upgrading to a 5800x3d for a few hundred more? or similar spec'ed builds in the future?

    • +4

      That would be amazing

    • +3

I too would be interested in this, and also interested to know if any other brand of 4070ti were available at that price, or with a slight increase to price?

    • I'd love a 5800x3d to upgrade my own PC :'( they never show up….

    • "Unfortunately, we are not offering that CPU upgrade at this time" - Caleb Sales/Support Agent

I also asked the question (Alongside motherboard upgrade. Short answer is no and no)

  • This is a great deal, kinda wish I held out on buying my 3080 last year.
Was too excited for Hogwarts lol

    • +1

Is 4070ti much better than 3080 though?

      • +2

4070ti uses a lot less power (like 100watts less) and is 10-20% faster.

        Also supports newer dlss version.

  • Is there shipping insurance included? I can see Aus Post Express but can't seem to find any box to tick when checking out.

    • +11

Hi there, we cover any shipping damage that may occur while the PC is being shipped to you. In the event that you experience transit damage, just reach out to the support team at [email protected] with some images and they will be able to assist.

      • +3

That is… amazing. Thanks Caleb / Luke!

  • +1

    Is Intel 13400 / 13500 / 13600 worth it over 5700x for gaming?

  • Can this run warhammer 3 with quck end turn times?

  • Another great deal guys.
Would love to see the odd ITX build thrown up sometimes if you could.
I know that ITX parts are probably harder/more expensive to come by, but if something ever comes up would love to see it.

  • Umart and Centrecom have the PNY XLR8 4070Ti for $1299 which is better than the Inno3D

    • +1

What makes you say that PNY is better then inno3D?

    • +1

Just to clarify, the brand/model of the card for this deal will vary. The inno3d in PCPP is just an example for pricing comparison.

  • +3

Do you have a lead time on new orders? Or an approx time?

    • The crickets from Luke concern me. If you're waiting 1-2mo, you'll probably get better deals in that time.

Apparently there is an edit window of time! TIL.

    • I've ordered 20/02 and seems like itll be coming end of next week or the following, so roughly over a month

  • +3

Good deal. is there MB option with 2x NVME with WIFI/BT on board?

  • Cheers Luke, any chance of a deal with the 3060 12gb?

  • +1

Comparing this gaming PC with one currently on sale at Hardly Normal:

    https://www.harveynorman.com.au/rog-strix-ga15-r5-3600x-16gb…

And people wonder why so many hate Hardly Normal. Sigh.

    • +1

Haha, that's a deal which been living under a rock since 2019.

  • LOL… my ITX build comes to $2.1k and that is without a GPU. :(

  • +6

Just an FYI. This MB can't have a WIFI card as there is no space. From the Techfast page: "A Second PCIE Device (E.G. Network Card) Will Not Fit".

Pulling an ethernet cable isn't an option for me. I'd imagine that a USB WiFi receiver will be fine? Heard some horror stories but they can't all be garbage can they?

    • -4

      Easy solution - get a PCE-AX58BT

      • +2

Did you read the 1st half of the comment…?

    • Has it got a spare m.2 slot? If so you could use something similar to this

      • It doesn't. Only one slot.

    • +1

Cheers for sharing. Deal breaker for me.

    • +1

These are pretty good from personal experience

      https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/netgear-ni…

    • Pulling an ethernet cable isn't an option for me. I'd imagine that a USB WiFi receiver will be fine? Heard some horror stories but they can't all be garbage can they?

Powerline Ethernet is the answer to this problem - especially if you are gaming.

      https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/tp-link-av…

You won't get anywhere near 600Mpbs out of them - but I find them a lot more reliable than wifi.

      • Good unless you have any sensitive audio gear - I had to stop using ethernet over power due to horrible static in my (vintage) hifi gear.

  • -4

Meh I did a build 10400/6600xt for $799. With an rm750x, WD black and b560 Mortar. These deals always have shit hdd/mobo. 5700x/4070ti built around a pile of rubbish

Throw in a reasonable mobo/psu/hdd and the price doesn't look so special anymore. More a budget pc than a bargain pc

  • coupon code not applying?

  • can i add more ram, ssds and hard drives or will that void the warranty?

  • How about something similar but with Intel CPU?

  • +6

Any chance for upgrade options for the mobo/case, (i.e. MSI Tomahawk Max WiFi mobo, and Deepcool Matrexx 55 Mesh 4F RGB [ATX] case) and such as in some of your previous offers (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/759601)?

Willing to pay extra for that option. The lack of onboard wifi/ability to install a network card seems like a huge deal breaker for a lot of us.

    • +2

      +1 for Mobo/Case upgrade.

    • You could try a PCIE riser? The case looks big enough.

  • Awesome deal. I purchased the same build with the 3070 Ti last night. Any chance of upgrading to this build?

    • Send an email to customer service and they'll definitely be happy to sell you the upgrade from what I've seen in the past!

      • Yep! Sent them an email last night and got a response first thing this morning. Processed instantly after confirming the difference. Pretty happy with the support!

        • I also bought the 3070ti deal, do you think the $390 difference is worth the 4070ti upgrade?

          • @Holyzion: If you want the extra performance, then yeah.
If the 3070 Ti has enough performance for your needs, then nah.

            • +1

@jsediv: Did some research, decided 3070ti should be enough for couple years before a better upgrade. Lots of innovations are coming out now so no point getting high end yet as prices are high and tech is average (running 4K 120fps+)

              • @Holyzion: What settings are you using to get 120fps+ at 4k on a 3070ti? I could be wrong, but according to benchmarks I don't think even a 4070ti could do that.

                • @Timmon: I meant tech is average trying to run 4K 120fps+. Monitors don’t even come in anything over 144hz in 4K and you’re paying as much as a pc

  • -1

Awesome deal. Good company as well

  • Is it possible to pick a different brand for the PSU?

  • Ant ideas on what's power this uses on standby

  • Don't suppose there is an option to change to a slightly better motherboard that has 2x m.2 slots? willing to pay more. Just have a second m.2 I want to put in this. only thing between this and the other 4070ti deal posted.

  • Similarly to the above comment, I'd immediately purchase this build if there was an option for an ATX motherboard. Just need to be able to connect PCIE wifi. Would be happy to pay the difference in price of course.

  • Agreed as above, or a better mobo with onboard wifi. Extra one fiddy is fine

  • Hi there Luke I’ve recently purchased a pc from you guys but I forgot to add the $200 discount code could you help me apply that if not I’d like to cancel my order.

I’ve also haven’t got any email for the order as a reference or anything is that normal?

    • @Baraxil @luketechfast

    • Hi there, I believe the team has responded to your email enquiry regarding this. Please be sure to check your spam inbox for the reply.

  • Hi Luke - Loving the deal. Two questions;

1.) Is local pick up available? I live in metro SA which seems to be where the company is based.

2.) Any chance to upgrade the Mobo for extra

    thanks in advance.

  • @luketechfast is local pickup back yet? need to know before i order

    • Also waiting response.

      • +2

they replied to a dm "Local pick up is available if you are located in Adelaide SA. Just email the sales team once your order has been placed and they will be able to assist you."

  • Any upcoming 4080 deals seeing as last one just expired?

  • @techfast also keen on a 4080 deal!

  • Amazing deal except only one M.2 slot

  • Has anyone bought from TechFast and not heard anything for weeks?
A mate of mine bought this PC on April 9th and has had no order updates since the order acknowledgment that day. We've emailed and are awaiting a reply.

    • I ordered this mid March and it was delivered mid April with no updates until it was posted about 4 weeks after order placed.

      • I see, yea my mate emailed them and they responded saying they were testing it, then sent it the day after. Should arrive today or tomorrow.

Still, bit shady not updating the order status at all for weeks.
