    "Howdy Folks,

Title, part list and discount code say 6700XT. Which is it?

    • +4

Typo, apologies. It is the 6700XT.

      • +3

Noice. 6700XT was my chase gpu for a while there but I succumbed to a 3060 instead

Can you give some rough idea of backlog/delay on orders if anyone buys these?

    • As a current customer waiting on my PC in metro Sydney, a bit over a month

  • -1

What brand is PSU? Hopefully not Yumcha.

    What's the estimated dispatch time?

    • It's been a month and still not dispatched, got emailed it would likely be dispatched this upcoming week though

  • Jesus! most 6700 XTs seem to be about $600, so $400 for the rest of the PC!

    • What the equivalent of the 6700 XT? Is it 3060?

      • Equivalent to 3070.
        Source found from here:
        https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html

      • HUB's benchmark has it 13% slower than the 3070 on average at 1440p but the price is probably a lot more than 13% different so it's probably still worthwhile. Lacklustre performance at 4K though so if that's your target resolution, probably best to steer clear.

      • A smidge higher than 3060 Ti.

    • I'm pretty sure Luke score these amazing deal from back of a black truck from Falujah
about time pc shop support gamer.

  • How would this go with video editing?

  • That is a genuinely ridiculous deal.

I have a somewhat similar setup with a 5700XT and a Ryzen 5 3600, and it actually plays a lot of games in 4k at reasonable settings at 40-70fps (which is fine for non esports gaming with FreeSync 2). So for under $1k you are getting something here which would absolutely shit all over a current gen console.

I'm also baffled as to how some of these recent systems are so cheap when the graphics card at retail would be worth 2/3rds of the build.

    • While I have no solid facts to back me up here, the general consensus is:
1: GPU manufacturers have limited RRPs at authorised resellers to be a certain minimum price, so that people don't start bidding wars and drive the prices down.
2: These minimum prices are not required when selling a pre-built PC. Which means consumers can get an upgraded GPU at a decent price only if they're upgrading their whole system (which some people would argue is against the philosophy of PC master race and upgrade pathways).
Oh- and if it's not an upgrade to your system then you're stuck reselling the rest of the system with your old GPU attached.

      • Some of these deals are good enough to buy just to grab the graphics card and CPU as upgrades and then flip the rest. Long may it last (at least until my next upgrade).

      • which some people would argue is against the philosophy of PC master race and upgrade pathways

And certainly not great for our contribution to e-waste, but it is what it is I suppose.

  • Is there any chance you're planning to do an ITX build in the near future?

  • @luketechfast I made an order last Monday. I thought this is ready-made so delivery will start right away. I haven't received any updates yet.

      Expect atleast a month wait

    • seems to be the case

    • im on day 28, no dispatch

  • Strewth 6 weeks is a long time!

  • Would this be overkill for 1080p gaming?

  • Hey guys,

    can u help.

    I just bought this

but no output to monitor when i connect hdmi to hdmi?

    thanks
