Update for ETA:

We want to be fully honest. We are experiencing the most extreme demand we have ever encountered on Gaming PC builds nowadays.

The current waiting time for systems to be built is around 13-17 working days if you place an order now.

We are maximizing all possible manpower to speed up the process of fulfilling this amount of orders. We should be able to catch up in 2-3 weeks.

After that, the wait time for PC builds should go back to normal. We are again truly sorry for all the delays and we are doing everything we can to fix this.

We still do customizations for the system package deals, but we highly recommend staying with the parts we listed in the drop-down lists on the Product Page for the best price.

As the discounts for the deal have been applied to those pre-configured parts. Also, it saves a lot of time for our Support Team and Warehouse Team to fulfill these orders.

We have a PC Build policy update regarding some of the RTX 40 Series VGA models' installation. Please check below for details.

If you have any questions, we are always here to help.

Take care and have a great weekend!

Warmly,

why is the demand for gaming pc builds so high atm?

    • +13

GPU price was crap last year, and it has some what recovered.

if you were to buy GPU from suppliers last year, you are forced to bundle x amount of Mobo/PSU/RAM etc per GPU.

This is so you can keep stock flow, and if one suit a customer, it's a win-win.

    • +8

I'd argue the opposite is true, the best deals generally happen when demand is low since supply > demand. Supply has returned to normal levels and demand for gaming rigs is likely down this year for a range of factors, crypto changes, WFH lessening, economy, inflation, etc

    • +1

The COVID/crypto GPU price crisis eased a lot, but prices still haven't fully returned to normal (about 1.5 to 3 times historical trend still).

NVIDIA/AMD don't want to lower prices yet, as a few suckers are still buying at these crazy prices. But that means they're missing out on business from the entire bottom 90% of the market.

So they've figured out they can discount AND overcharge, at least for a bit longer: just restrict the discounts to PC building companies who will sign contracts with secrecy and not-sold-seperately clauses, and buy in bulk.

AND this means most of us are still waiting, so there's excess stock on all other parts: good deals on RAM, SSDs, PSUs, even coolers etc.

So these good value sellers on OzBargain can offer really good prebuilts like this for a little bit more than we can buy the GPU for.

    • +1

It isn't, it's the complete opposite. Manufacturers+retailers are struggling to move units.

    • +1

Seems the supply is higher than demand. So, more deals.

  • Hey OP/BPC will you be stocking the TG verson of the case?

"ASUS Prime AP201 Tempered Glass" do you have an eta of when it will be in stock?
Looking to get one for my next build.

    • Have a look at the Jonsbo D31/41 mesh screen, if you like this type of case. You might like that one.

      • yeah thanks, I do know about D31/41, build quality wise (from review online) it seems the AP201 are better.

Do you have an D31/41, care to comment about the build quality?

        • +1

No sorry, just though you might like if you like this style case.

      • Can one even find Aus stocks?

        • You might be able to contact PLE computer, they do have some jonsbo items, if not only place i have seen is aliexpress.

  • +5

    Thumb up for this pre-build.

RAM speed at 3200 which is at the safe point yet yield ok performance, since 12400f have its SA voltage locked.
Tower Cooler, decent mobo, SSD, PSU, mesh fronted case.

no complain at all, perfectly balanced build with good price.

  • +3

@BPC Technology Any chance of adding a GPU upgrade to a 4070ti/4080? might need a psu upgrade option with that as well.

Would be a pretty sweet deal/price, with 13600k, 4080, upgrades

    • +1

      Or even a 3080 option too !!

  • +2

@BPC Technology - Will you guys be able to send sooner if people just buy it as parts, and build themselves. Some might be happy to build themself if they can get the parts quicker. Might be worth adding the option. Maybe take a buck or two off if they build themself (free shipping maybe :O).

    • Mate, they’ll just end up charging you more. i ordered a pre-built machine and asked for the GPU to be shipped uninstalled (Tech Fast offers this with their builds). They charged me an extra $30 for shipping.

      • They should have at least said they would charge you but it also costs them extra to send another parcel..

        • Techfast doesn’t charge extra. I don’t see why it would need to be shipped separately either? I just didn’t want it installed.

    • +1

If you could get this with free shipping, if not built, I would buy one even tho I dont need it.

    • +2

It'll actually cost them more logistically speaking to ship it unbuilt…. as it would require more packaging for each individual part or else things will just move around in the box and get damaged….

      • They ship the gpu seperate with 40 cards now and dont charge more. Just would be a really good deal if was. So godd I would buy even tho i dont need :)

  • +2

@BPC Technology , any chance to put some bundle deals out with say 13700k+z690/z790 DDR4 + 4070ti/4080? Personally won't mind if it's asrock mobo, inno3D GPU etc.

  • +1

Great deal. Now I regret that I bought mine too early

    • +5

Imo the price is good and tbf they're being upfront about it. Techfast had to get called out on delays and communication issues before they confronted it. BPC so far seem better in customer support.

  • +3

Why does a 3060 build have better CPU than the 3080 build the other day? Make no sense

    • +2

Exactly this, they even have a 13400f upgrade option. When I enquired about it they just told me to upgrade to their $1800 rig…..

    • Different requirements, this is perfectly adequate or actually better off for E-sports titles that are more CPU intensive. The 3080 will play triple A games a bit better. As for why they do this, it's the parts they have and their strategy for profit.

  • +1

This is nearly exactly my build and I'm pretty happy with it. It won't completely crush every possible challenge you could throw at it, but for those not keen on spending big it will do reasonably well. The 12gb of vram helps a ton for machine learning stuff too.

The stock intel 12400 cooler didn't seem up to the task, but the cheapest cooler available keeps it under 70 degrees in Queensland summer under heavy load in a hot room, so you won't likely need to upgrade the cooler.

I only have a 550w PSU with like 6 harddrives and have never had an issue with power either.

  • +15

I am fine with the Windows license being sold separately, I prefer it personally, but that Windows 11 logo should not be in the product image if its not part of the product.

It's reasonable for the assumption to be made by someone who misses the lower terms that say not included, as its in the product display itself, as if it was the product.

  • +20

It’s frustrating seeing you guys post new deals when you’re unable to ship previous builds within the stated time frame due to volume of orders. My initial order confirmation from 22/02 stated a build schedule of 3 to 7 working days. That time frame has been pushed back a further two times.

Maybe clear up the backlog of paying customers before taking another influx of orders?

    • +6

My thoughts exactly. Same boat as you, 22/02. It's probably going to blow up to a month now. 14/03 already after weekend/public holiday.

A few people having problems with their builds, like 4 from reading the threads. If mine does, I'm going to lose my head.

DON'T SKIP THE TEST STAGE PLEASE if you're taking a month.

      • What were the issues with the builds?

        • +1

Loud fans, memory stick not working, PC not booting up…

    • I smell money 🤑

  • Appreciate the transparency guys. This is the price we have to pay for the price-war between BPC/Techfast/etc

    • +3

They’re not being transparent though. They are all too eager to take peoples money and not fulfil their build date time frames. Order cancellation is virtually impossible. Tech Fast cops a lot of flack for this, but BPC Tech are equally as bad.

    • +1

Personally I will pick this build since it comes with all better parts. Beside you could upgrade to TUF 3060TI with extra $150.

  • +2

Hi BPC, very good build and so attempt. One thing I have noticed is when upgrade to EVGA cooler, the upgrade price is $79, isn’t it should be $79 - $45, which is minus the price of the DeepCool cooler?

  • Read the deal just make me really think about sell mine then buy new one instead of upgrade parts, was trying to find 3060ti for my old lady pc tho zz

    • Why post crap like this when OP made it clear in their post..

    • +1

So make a build with custom parts and pay the extra money, they aren't making this build at this price to be altruistic, they are getting good deals on certain parts and passing the savings on whilst still making a buck.

  • +1

love the smaller form build. too late for me…I already built mine (with 3 parts from you guys).

You guys should offer a downgrade option too.

  • +2

Meh, if it was 3060ti maybe…

    • The trade off with the ti is it has less memory for machine learning use.

  • Does AP201 TG comes in white? Or not available in Aus yet?

  • Is the Wifi add on option just USB dongle?

  • Whats the best of the deals around 1k?

    • +1

      This one.

  • can you add your own ram or ssd or hdd? or will that void warranty?

  • +1

This is really tempting as it's exactly what I'm after at this price

  • Will it be faster to ship the parts only without assembling? What is the leading time for parts only? Thanks.

  • I'd love this without the GPU ! contemplating still getting it….

  • Ok how about a $2k build with quality parts, what can you expect to get?

  • +1

FML.. only 3 days after buying the Enigma $999 build, BPC comes up with something better.

    • +2

at least your going to be gaming a month before buyer of this deal :)

  • Is the 3060ti upgrade worth it?

    • hard to say really, at that price not quite, but you have to consider the fact that it will be hard to sell that 3060 for a good price after buying a 3060 ti on your own.It really comes down to if you actually need that 3060 ti I'd just pay that extra and not bother about the hassle.

      • Thanks, OOS now :( hopefully they have a new deal soon with a 3070 upgrade option

  • Don't know much about PC builds, but would I need to get the Wifi add-on to connect to the internet at home? Can't pull an ethernet cable to my room.

    • Yes.

(You could actually just buy a separate USB wifi dongle, but reliability and signed strength is sometimes poor).

(Personally I just ran a cable through the roof and installed my own Ethernet ports in each room. Easy once you look up how, and less than $50 for a fast rock solid internet connection).

      • It's not the "how" for most of us. Its if you live in an apartment or are renting like heaps of people then none of that is possible.

        • I'm renting now. I asked if I could drill holes in the walls and install network wall plates and run a cable so the house would have wired internet in more rooms.

          Landlord said 'of course'.

Landlords are sometimes stupid, of course, but that's what you have to be to refuse a tenant who offers to add value to your investment at their own expense.

          Can't hurt to ask, anyway.

          • @GandalfTheCheap: surely some landlords wouldn't trust a tenant to do the work well enough

  • Are the ARGB fans x 3 worth the $39 upgrade anyone?

  • So sad I missed this deal, looks so good!

  • Will this deal be coming back?? Sad I missed out

  • Anyone else have trouble with the psu?

Mine is making a horrible high frequency noise when plugged in

    • Sounds like it needs returning/replacing.

  • Have yet to receive mine.
