Got an email explaining normal $500 trade-in bonus is now $800 with customer coupon code. Code looks unique so probably targeted.

Already got my S23 for a good price using Harvey Norman deal, so I don't need another one!

      For anyone having this issue, I tried changing zoom and text size settings but nothing worked. Support even connected into my device but couldn't select my address or postcode in the drop-down. I ended up spending 2 hours in support but finally got an answer which worked:

      "\Address error in creating or generating Trade-up ID on the Trade-up app is a known issue and as a recommended troubleshooting you need to reset your accessibility settings on your android device.

      To reset accessibility settings on your device, you can follow these steps:

      Open the Settings app on your phone.
      Scroll down and tap on "Accessibility".
      In the Accessibility menu, tap on the three-dot icon located in the top-right corner of the screen.
      From the options that appear, select "Reset accessibility settings".

    It seems people who got orders canceled didn't receive the order confirmation email and tax invoice. So if you receive an order confirmation email, no need to worry

    • that makes me feel better, i guess now its just a waiting game for me. ordered 23/03 and the 22/03 orders are slowly rolling out so probably tomorrow or wednesday 23/03 will be shipped out

  • I've just received a second code for 800 on my second email address - it was sent from a similar email but not exactly same, also it was worded bit differently where they already calculated my trade in ($230 for note20U that I bought 2-3yrs ago w them) saying all I have to pay is $919 which w the 230 and 800 is 1949 (full price of s23u).

      a few users reported success, however if you plan to order, don't include watches or buds because if you do, they'll either be out of stock and cancel your order or your order will arrive around a month from now

    I have got everthing except the $100 voucher. Not sure if it's worth risking for it (that's if they're still offering it).

    • Looks like no luck with the 100 voucher. They told me it's only for new customers (i.e. folks switching from Apple etc). At least I tried. :)

    The shipmment can be tracked through my Auspost app now.

  • I've tried to use the 10% off and the $100 voucher on my order for a s23, while trading in a S10+. However when when I enter one of the codes, the screen bugs out and the button to proceed with the order becomes missing.

    Is anyone else having this problem?

    Update:Browser issue. I was using firefox, switching to chrome resolved it.

  • When did everyone get charged. When ordering or when receiving the phone?

    • I got charged the trade in value for my phone $80 + $1, soon after i entered the code at the samsung website, even though I hadn't yet finalised the purchase.

      yes. if you bought it with a watch and buds, it will take even longer or potentially get cancelled like other orders, good luck

  • Can someone please help me understand this confusing trade-in issue? My S21U has been valued at $295 and Asurion has charged me $295 + $1. Wasn't that supposed to be deducted from the total order? What am I missing here?

      they will refund it once they have inspected your device and verified that the $295 is accurate

          • @OzGardian: It's all confusing. All the discounts for the vouchers I used are listed on the invoice, but there's nothing for my old phone. Also, my total was $768.60 (S23U, 256GB. And I used the $250 eVoucher for Galaxy Buds Live). Not sure if that final price includes the deduction for the old S21U as it doesn't state anywhere on the invoice.

            My overall savings are 1,429.40. I used:
            $800 trade-in bonus ($500 + $300)
            $249 (of the $250) eVoucher
            10% off loyalty discount
            $50 newsletter voucher
            Plus traded in my old phone.

            Everything is listed there except the discount for the old phone.

    • Where did you get your tracking? I have one suspicious tracking ID in my aus post app but it says it's coming from overseas. Thought these were coming from NSW so don't think that's it.

        Came by sms - it won't pop up in auspost app automatically because the receiver is the store.

        I am in NSW and it was dispatched from Bankstown Aerodrome apparently. Maybe flown in from interstate?

    What's the best strategy with trading in.

    I've got a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G, worth $230 as trade in value.

    The security charge would be $230 + $1? And if I don't end up returning it, they charge a 'late fee' of $60? What happens after that? Will they keep bugging me to send it, or just call it a day (costing me $291.

    I then proceed to sell my phone on ebay for $400-450?

    • its will not be "costing you $291" because the $230 will be deducted from your purchase price, so it will cost you only $60 :)

          If possible find something with less than $50 trade in value to reduce your cost

    My black 256 GB phone and black Galaxy Watch 4 40mm arrived today (ordered Tuesday last week). I might have been lucky to order when there was still stock of the latter. Disappointed to miss out on the $100 loyalty voucher, but at least the order wasn't cancelled.

    Just Got delivered my S23 Ultra 512GB (online exclusive) BLUE color that I ordered on night of 22nd March.

    I ordered another A series phone using the e-voucher during checkout.

    I used all the vouchers except for the 100$$ off that you get for switching from iphone to samsung.

    Also the parcel showed up automatically in AusPost app. No communication from Samsung yet.

    One question though, is Samsung care+ transferrable, because i already got one active subscription for my Fold 4 that I am gonna trade in?

    • The bonus trade is targeted afaik. I tried for 100$ once but got denied.

      So I only used the 10% loyalty voucher and 50$ marketing sign-up voucher like others.

    Update on my order: I talked to Samsung Support and they said it'll be estimated delivered April 6th…. I ordered on 22/03 and only got cases and a charger.

      They don't know anything, they're just adding 10 business days to your order date. They told me April 4 and then the next day it was marked as shipped.

    • Samsung are a little inconsistent with their promotions arent they? Both my wife & I have been signed up to their newsletters and promotions for a for a long time and havn't received anything from them yet others are receiving multiple codes in the promotion period.
