Wahoo KICKR V6 Smart Trainer - $1499 ($1799 RRP) Delivered @ 99 Bikes Shop

50

I've been looking to buy the Wahoo KICKR V6 and have noticed 99 Bikes have had the listed club price at $1599 for a while now. Not sure how long it will last but looking at past ozbargain posts at least, it doesn't look like it goes on "sale" a lot. Actually listed as $100 cheaper than the V5 which is odd.
But hey, if you are in the market for one this might be a good bargain.

Its a little early for me honestly. I was planning on buying in a few months. Lets see if i can resist the deal. XD

Edit: The "Club Price" confuses me a little. I seem to be able to retain the club price at the payment phase of checkout without any prompt to join/pay for a club membership, but it otherwise looks to be a $5 fee. (i have not purchase it yet).

best to buy with ultimate him gift cards which can be had at 15% off usually when on sale

  • Any online purchase gets the club price.

Also, I'm expecting prices to fall across the board, cycling sales are taking a massive hit since the Covid boom

People have been saying this since last year but parts are still scarce with bike prices still yet to come down.

      • Bike prices have definitely come down and supply less of an issue for new bikes

        • Only for low to mid level models which are massively overstocked, high end bike are still harder to come by.

      • Prices have fallen massively in the last year, have a look at 105/Ultegra bikes at 99bikes

        • The BMC di2 range is 1k more than pre Covid prices on 99bikes

My canyon di2 is also $1500 more currently than what I paid.

I know the prices well as I was deciding between both BMC and my Canyon 6 months before Covid hit.

          • @Fish and Grits: Of course they are still higher than Pre Covid levels, I said prices have fallen from Covid Peaks.
            Don't forget inflation though.

May be it’s just me, but I find it amazing that at a time of pre recession, people have the ability to spend this kind of money on a bicycle trainer. I need a career change

I don't think getting fit should ever be classed as a waste of money.
